Great people of this forum, The reason I'm posting this here is cause I've discovered this section gets a lot of engagements. I need your wise counsel on a pressing issue. You know the frustration that comes with staying at home after schooling after so many months? That's my position right now. In fact, I am sucidal already. Family and community frustration is killing me. I stay in a very secluded city in Nigeria, where there are only a few job opportunities and that has been constraining me a lot. I have tried to work a lot of things out here, they've not just been working. The best I've gotten here is a school that pays 10k a month. But I must say, I have been applying for jobs and Lagos and Abuja and God so good, I've been getting interview invitations but I have been declining them. Reasons: I have not been to these states before and have no relatives there. Please Note: I am an extreme introvert and have lived all my life in this city. Last week, I applied to an organization in Ibadan and luckily, I got their message to come for an interview on Friday. Fact is, I am broke and really stranded, that I have vowed to take anything that comes my way right now. On a second thought, it'd be a disaster if I go for the interview. What if I spend money down to Ibadan for the interview, get the job and get called to resume soon? How would I start in a place I have been to and have nobody or know anyone? I am really confused right now. What do you suggest I do please? |
I'm your perfect guy. I am not just a writer, I am a sports journalist too. Saayomikun@gmail. com 08107799264 |

OP, they look like insurance papers, likely life insurance papers. My advice is, go to the named company and make enquiries. Be careful all the same so you won't get played. I'd advise you involve a lawyer before taking any step too. |
I pray you learn the hard way. |

What!! Are you really planning going to back to her? Bro, for her to believe that bullshit even with the level of commitment you guys had for that 3 years, trust me, you're in for a serious one when you get married with her. She obviously looks like she can be easily manipulated. When you marry her, her pastor will just tell her that you have one demon in you, and that she shouldn't have sex with you for 41 days. Think with your brain bro, not with your heart. This is a red flag you're seeing. Do not go back to her. A word is enough for a bro... |
OP, you be bad guy Walahi ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Drdreyy:I feel your pain a lot bro... It's not easy striving in this era jobless, especially as a young man. Well, I don't have a job I can give you but I know where you can get a job. If you're on telegram and interested, kindly drop me a message with your phone number on: Saayomikun@gmail.com so I can add you to some reliable job opening groups (if you wish) Good luck bro, chin up. Don't loose faith. |
How?? |
If I was the one, I wouldn't call back. What's with the squeezing of butt and flirting and all? For how long have you known him?? (I'm guessing a short while) Grow up Sis, no real guy wants to roll with a cheap girl!!! You've just explicated tendencies of a cheap woman. Give yourself some class! |
You can't blame your dad, bro. He's got experiences, he knows what women are capable of doing and he is scared of loosing you. Bro, all you need to do is earn his trust, and the trust of your fiance. Visit him regularly with the lady. In fact, allow the lady buy things for him whenever you're visiting. PS: Don't mind those calling your dad selfish. I can see from the perspective of your dad. I have a bro in the U. S, somebody the whole family suffered for before travelling. He got a wife in Naija here, from Ogun state. He took her with him and I'm telling you, you do not even wish to know the way myself and family are living right now. He forgot totally he has anyone in Naija anymore. He only send something to my mum once a year, only when the wife asks him to. And he is my immediate elder bro. Bro, earn your Pa's trust. That's all you need. Good luck to you. |
So happy for you, boss God bless your endeavours |
mbahdi:This is so so sad. My warm wishes are with her bro. I pray she finds the right help to keep her stable. Thanks for standing by her. |
damianchiemezie:I did, thanks a lot sir. |
rawpadgin:Bro, kindly help confirm if she has a younger sister. If she does, hit a niggarrr up! ![]() But no jokes bro, you guys have really gone really deep! Success to you both. |
kingjoe:Well, I can only consider myself wrong for generalizing. But bro, we've seen things, we've heard stories. That gender? They will always have their way, no matter how arduous the road is. |
rosy1992:She has destroyed herself. |
