The person I quoted mentioned the UCL and Club World Cup as one of the reasons Sneijder should have won, saying he (wesley knocked Barca out of the UCL). That is giving Milito's glory to Sneijder. Simply told him Sneijder wasn't the best player in the Inter squad. The facts supports this, and I do not care much about who wins the Ballon d'Or.

Winning trophies with a team is not what gives you the Ballon d'Or (even Valdez won the world cup). Besides the fact that he wasn't the best in his UCL-winning Inter squad, he wasn't even the best player in the World Cup either. You guys overhyped Sneijder's season.

Milito was the hero of the UCL and Serie A that season. Inter thrived mainly because of him, not Sniejder. Notice what happened when Milito lost form the season after.

Well facebook is not exactly a forum. I think the comparison is unjust. Nairaland should not be tied under the shadows of Facebook. If you had created an exact replica of fb in 2005, would it have become the success that NL is today?

I know you have the final say at the end of the day, but I think you should give it a trial at least. I'm sure I am voicing the thought of many NLers.

I feel the dislike button is long overdue for a great forum like Nairaland. I think such a button would make people think twice before making comments as no one would like to see dislikes accumulating on his comments. That way, it is even easier to 'dislike' a comment and move ahead instead of having to 'voice' it out and start an e-fight.

I propose Seun gives it a two/three-day trial at least. Have no fear, no one would get 'disliked' out of Nairaland.
