VanBommel:
bro I have been rejected/friendzoned severally despite being good looking but I just take it as one of those things. Bros just make money, most Nigerian girls know what they want in a guy.
Yes, most but not all.

If it's about the money, i'll rather go blow it in a strip club than spend it on some worthless girl who would cheat within a blink of an eye. cool

VanBommel:
How I deal with rejection? I just sip codeine, drag small SK, press my laptop, maye pays...don't worry, you'll see her in your house the next day... cool cool
grin grin grin grin

@OP, she must have a reason for rejecting you. Her brother probably.

Yours is still better when compared to others who rub the rejection in your face like dusting powder.

That can be very depressing so consider yourself lucky. grin grin
RomanceRe: Do Nigerian Girls Understand Friends With Benefit? by SafeDavid(m):
RadicallyBlunt:
Lol. The benefit they understand is money and more money. The nigerian economy and culture even makes it sound awkward to them let alone understanding it.

What is known here is just overnight hook up or so, perhaps from social media..she comes, u have sex and pay her, that's all..just one night friendship and its over which in blunt terms is prostitution which s even worse than friendship with benefits but they'll refuse to agree they're prostitutes.
That's deep mehn! cool

I was terribly injured over a phone that wasn't worth it at all, I equally lost my wrist watch. The question is, what wrong have I done by being a regular Nigerian youngyahoo boy into entertainment.
grin

Lets call a spade a spade.

Internet fraud and showbiz in Nigeria goes hand in hand.

From eMoney to Bnaira, Olu maintain even sang a popular hit cerebrating Yahoo. cheesy

Its a fact that most internet fraudsters are also aspiring musicians. cool

Nonetheless, police brutality needs to be looked into.
The Nigeria police force operatives aren't well trained in aspects of law and legality.
For instance, checking someone's phone is an invasion of one's privacy which can be sanctioned under law.

Maybe a more stringent recruitment process might help in that aspect.

#MyOpinion

I know my comment wont go down well with a lot of people but heck popular opinion isn't always right. cool

Don't know why I'm gonna bother with a reply to you. Obviously, you know zilch about human physiology.
He can lose a leg but still stay alive.
But a severed major artery will make him bleed out and die within minutes.
Does that accident look like an artery would have survived?

What that boy needs is to be moved to the ER and have that limb amputated.

There's no need talking about an artery in this case.
.
Side note.

Unlike you, I chose to tow the part of enlightenment rather than hurling insults like a tout.

SmellingAnus:
In as much as I like the comments of folks of 2005 on this thread, it's imperative to note that Change is permanent... The type of challenges we faced then individually and as a Nation is different from what we are facing now... We have more frustrated persons who use nairaland as a medium to pour out their frustions on other persons... It doesn't mean they are bad persons, it's just their own way of transferring their frustration on others.... Their major problem is how to handle frustration.... From the "Peace maker"...
Blame it on easy and affordable internet access.

Back then , you wouldn't want to waste your hard earned MB spewing trash online.

If you weren't busy hustling, you'd at least try yo make some sense with your comments.

This was before Naitaland got invaded by touts.

Back then, every thread was civil and discussions were based on intellectual contributions.

I miss the Nairaland i joined in 2009.

He's losing so much blood! This boy may die in a few more minutes if that bleeding is not stopped. The accident likely ruptured an artery.
See this man talking about an artery...
Can't you see the whole damn leg is gone?

uyiekpen26:
bro I've not even confirmed. I'm not even interested in doing so. I don't want to have anything to do with her anymore.
I bet you've learnt your lesson.
You don't invest so much on a girl who isn't your wife just yet.
It's a different ball game if you have marriage plans and all that.

Doesn't mean they wouldn't cheat but at least they know there's so much at stake.
RomanceRe: She Is Being Admitted As We Speak by SafeDavid(m): 8:35pm On Sep 20, 2016
If this story us true, I think they're actually lying about her being admitted.
Op, its like you don't know how cunning these ladies can be.
She could put the story up in connivance with her Mon to get some sympathy.
Have you verified that she's indeed been admitted?
