Well done 2 you. But you don't deserve an allowance. Its not that serious please. Your virgin status is not beneficial to the world in any way. Commot. |
MrCork:Ok |
MrCork:what |
Shes a beautiful girl. Hope she can make the money; save up and get out of that industry. Maybe invest or start her own business. Everybodys hustle is different, i cannot judge her. |
I'm guessing this logic only applies to nigerian girls, who are based in nigeria. Understandable. |
kaboninc:Yes it matters because of her first paragraph. The picture is clearly not hers, yet she's drawing attention to it claiming that guys insulted her based on the colour of her skin. But thats not even her picture. Why lie? We already know colourism is a huge issue in africa, but i don't support hiding under another persons identity to prove a point. It doesn't make sense, and I'm sure the owner of the pic will not be happy with someone using their picture, on top of being very manerless and ignorant. She should've just generalised her article instead of making it personal. Nobody would have the reason to question her. Its that simple |
Fresca:I'm not. I just call it as i see it. If it didn't bother you, you wouldn't have rushed to remove that picture. Go and sit down, fake advocate. Be an example to your fellow black sisters and stop using other peoples pictures without their permission . Fraud. Theif. Scammer. Oleeeee! |
Fresca:See her dirty mouth. This is supposed to an advocate for black beauty? I reject it Why wouldnt they insult you, when your manerless. Your insults are nothing to me. Its like shiit on my shoe. Your posts says 'here on nairaland', so you cannot start something without backing it up. Are the guys insulting you off someone else's picture, yes or no? Im sure the owner of that picture would not appreciate a rag using her picture for cheap popularity. Your message is fine, but dont try to catfish and steal other peoples pictures whilst doing so. Black is beautiful, but self love is more important, try and get some. ![]() |
Somebody who is indirectly trying to use someone else's picture as their own, shouldn't be talking about self love. It's hypocritical. |
Fresca:If you're claiming that the guys here have been calling your skin "dirty", then what pic are they referring to? Is it not the one on your profile? Your article is expressing your concern based on your own circumstances, not off someone else's picture. Thats why you're being questioned. Dont call someone a mumu when it's just simple logic. |
dingbang:no it's not. |
But that picture is not of you though. Why are you trying to catfish? If we're talking about self love, why not use your own picture instead of some one else's. Just saying. |
Talking from experience..they aint shiit. |
Victornezzar:No |
dipznano:Thats great for you. What works for a will not work for b. With the unemployment rate reaching 20% in nigeria, there's obviously an issue. It would make more sense to get a degree and possibly try out an apprenticeship after. Therefore you have the best of both worlds. But i still believe apprenticeships are more beneficially in this day and age, that's if i had to choose one. Building your skills rather than grades is more beneficial in the long run. |
dipznano:Darling, dont accept being mediocre. Being basic and mediocre will not get you far in life. Just because a company doesnt require experience at entry level, doesn't necessarily mean that they wouldn't choose someone who has over you. Grades are not pratical. You have to set yourself apart in the employement world, esp in this day. So many 1st class holders with no employment because they think 'grades' only, will take them far. Think outside of the box, it's a characteristic of successful people. |
Employers know that nigerians are desperate. Nigerians are willing to sacrifice everything just to do something, so employers take advantage of that. Graduates with skills and experience could work 12 hours a day and still earn 50k a month. Although it's smart to know what you're worth, but unfortunately it doesn't work in nigeria. But then, its not ideal to stress yourself for a ridiculous offer. keep your head up and your hardwork will take you somewhere.
|
salford1:Yeah exactly. |
OMEGA009:Do you know what employers are looking for these days? Experience. If you've spent 5 years in uni, and you've never worked in the industry that you have a degree in, you're practically useless. That's why so many graduates all over the world are lost when they graduate. I'm not saying a degree is useless, but at the end of the day its just a certificate, and employers want more. What sets you apart from the crowd? When you've had experience, you will always have the upper hand to someone who hasn't. Don't look down on apprenticeships. Educate yourself and get out of the closed box you're in. |
AyoSammyTunDe:you can't do both at once. You choose one or the other. |
Jacksparr0w1207: im gonna call ur silly ass tomorrow. Goodnight. |
