It's hardly surprising therefore that the conviction rates for ra.pe are so low, responsible or not.

When someone gets raaped, anecdoctally, 8 times out of 10 the victim would have bruises or virginal tear/trauma, not to even consider the other evidence I initially listed.

If none of these are being produced to create cases, then that tells you 9/10 not reaching prosecution might actually mean a majority of them are possibly false allegations.

Other factors are:

- Prosecutors who only want the strongest cases because of their stats.
- Culture of police not taking raape seriously

But, I believe, those are smaller factors than lack of evidence.

One more factor: women not going forward quick enough while the evidence still exist or are use-able.

Guess who's responsibility and who's fault it is if that last one occurs in societies that are advanced enough to take raape seriously?

- one is the victim
- one witnessed it
- one sees personally satisfactory evidence of it occurring
- a reliable court of law finds someone guilty of it (basically, the trusted court sees it on your behalf)

If none of the above exists, you cannot say it occurred. It is a mere allegation and that should be the default belief.

What this law does is make women have no responsibilities, not make consent the default setting.
