I was actually making my comparison between Galaxy A20 and Redmi Note 8 which are categorized as mid-range devices and are retail at the same price. The Galaxy S7 was only included to drive out a point, knowing it's a flagship of 2017 and will be unfair to be compare to RN8 if they were launched the same year.

From experiences...
I've been a fan of the Galaxy series from S4 to s7 until early July, this year when I decided to try out the RN8 (4/124gb). By chance, my colleague at work also got the Galaxy A20 which happens to be in the same price range with the RN8. Placing my RN8 with his A20 is incomparable in performance. His A20 becomes warm/hot on a moderate usage, but playing COD on my RN8 on a stable 4g network won't even go as hot as his'.
And moreover, the RN8 outperform my Galaxy S7, although no much differences in smoothness between the both of them, only that the Galaxy S7 gets hot on a little task and tends to drain battery faster. And don't forget, Galaxy S7 is/was a flagship, whilst the RN8 is just a mid-range

Humans are emotional and are prone to be sentimental in settling matters like this, hence they might lead you base on their opinion, in such opinion most times are limited to their knowledge.
Have you used all the phones I was comparing to know which is better? If you haven't used them, then why would I listen to you over some tools design for such specific purpose?
I would rather use a measuring tape to measure a distance than asking someone to guess it. The same is true for benchmarking tools

Don't be ignorant. Mi 10 ultra beats Galaxy S20+ and Huawei p40 combined (camera and CPU). Despite Xiaomi's being the youngest smartphone brand, they are drastically gaining the largest market share in Europe. The last time I checked, Tecno and infinix is not certified to sell in Europe. Is that the brand you ignorantly compare to Xiaomi's?

We're not saying it doesn't heat up at all any device that is working will certainly heat up but as opposed to the scenario I sighted with my old infinix hot s it doesn't heat up

That's because it is capable of those things we're using it for like the saying goes "it won't break a sweat" because of those things

There might be other tasks that may cause it to heat up but before it heats up to the level of the user feeling the heat through the screen itself it must have tried to do something that would make the hot s explode.

Me I'll compare because I've used Tecno and infinix before so I really know what I'm saying, ran cod on lowest graphics settings on hot s the game was so blurry and it still was heating up

Ran that same game on my note 8 on very high, and the only thing I have to worry about is signal strength and battery
I've seen a very blurry PUBG on a Tecno spark 4 before

So in the end oooo it just means that these phones are not mates
