So snapdragon 720g senior Helio G90T? According to the video, "it's pretty clear infinix has cut some corners here, especially with the display and the bloated HiOS fill experience isn't great either. They will just have to lower the cost of the phone" In conclusion, the infinix Note zero is not worth the price... |

Timmzycul11: Bro fear God na. How do you expect a 2017 phone to rub shoulder with a 2019 phone, atleast use its predecessor galaxy s8... I come in peace trojan84: Nice observation, good points overall, but we should also point the fact that the s7 was a flagship of 2017 which in mobile world is a long time ago. Thanks for shedding light on this topic though I was actually making my comparison between Galaxy A20 and Redmi Note 8 which are categorized as mid-range devices and are retail at the same price. The Galaxy S7 was only included to drive out a point, knowing it's a flagship of 2017 and will be unfair to be compare to RN8 if they were launched the same year. |

Phones › Re: Xiaomi Here And There by sagieramos(m): 7:36pm On Sep 02, 2020 |
trojan84: Are you talking from experience of both devices or just your experience of xiaomi? From experiences... I've been a fan of the Galaxy series from S4 to s7 until early July, this year when I decided to try out the RN8 (4/124gb). By chance, my colleague at work also got the Galaxy A20 which happens to be in the same price range with the RN8. Placing my RN8 with his A20 is incomparable in performance. His A20 becomes warm/hot on a moderate usage, but playing COD on my RN8 on a stable 4g network won't even go as hot as his'. And moreover, the RN8 outperform my Galaxy S7, although no much differences in smoothness between the both of them, only that the Galaxy S7 gets hot on a little task and tends to drain battery faster. And don't forget, Galaxy S7 is/was a flagship, whilst the RN8 is just a mid-range |

There are standard testing tools to guide us in making decisions yet some folks tend to rule it out and bring sentiments into discussions in regards to brands, such no dey make discussions edifying at all, been fueled by emotional attachment to brands instead of facts. trojan84: If you always follow that antutu shiii then obviously you are lost. Na everyday use be device matter o, and not some software running dogs on it So it's your own opinion we should be using as a criteria for rating smartphones? Performance test: antutu and geekbench Lenses and Camera: DXOmark Unified graphics test: GFXbench All of those tools listed above are provided so that anyone wanting to get a new gadget (be it a phone or a computer) can know what the gadget is able to deliver. Humans are emotional and are prone to be sentimental in settling matters like this, hence they might lead you base on their opinion, in such opinion most times are limited to their knowledge. Have you used all the phones I was comparing to know which is better? If you haven't used them, then why would I listen to you over some tools design for such specific purpose? I would rather use a measuring tape to measure a distance than asking someone to guess it. The same is true for benchmarking tools |

popez: Oga, close mouth. Don't ever compare xiaomi with Huawei again. Huawei is a far better product than xiomi or whatever they call it. Just dey battle with tecno and infinix,no try cross your boundary. xtervaganza: Truth is, Xiaomi will cop a lot of haters now. Not because their products are bad but because of the militants they have as fanboys. Just few days ago one was comparing the chinko to Samsung. Just ridiculous. Enjoy your phone in peace and joy on. I won't even go near their phones because of the idiots on here who 8nsult everybody who speak against it Don't be ignorant. Mi 10 ultra beats Galaxy S20+ and Huawei p40 combined (camera and CPU). Despite Xiaomi's being the youngest smartphone brand, they are drastically gaining the largest market share in Europe. The last time I checked, Tecno and infinix is not certified to sell in Europe. Is that the brand you ignorantly compare to Xiaomi's? Learn and stop showing to the public how uninformed you are

Darkhyve: Ehhnnn na same thing
We're not saying it doesn't heat up at all any device that is working will certainly heat up but as opposed to the scenario I sighted with my old infinix hot s it doesn't heat up
That's because it is capable of those things we're using it for like the saying goes "it won't break a sweat" because of those things
There might be other tasks that may cause it to heat up but before it heats up to the level of the user feeling the heat through the screen itself it must have tried to do something that would make the hot s explode.
Me I'll compare because I've used Tecno and infinix before so I really know what I'm saying, ran cod on lowest graphics settings on hot s the game was so blurry and it still was heating up
Ran that same game on my note 8 on very high, and the only thing I have to worry about is signal strength and battery I've seen a very blurry PUBG on a Tecno spark 4 before
So in the end oooo it just means that these phones are not mates Add anstone on cod. Make we fight small in gulag |

pabllov53: S9 na gorilla glass 5 ooo. If it cracked, that means the RN9S that has gorilla glass 5 also isn't safe True, even gravel dey crack sometimes and nothing is 100% resistance to damage. But AMOLED display is so fragile to an extent a crack on a tiny spot can make the rest of the screen burn off. Try it. Just hit the edge of any phone with AMOLED display to an impact, and watch the screen burn slowly but fast to your very eyes. Na so my guy watch in phone screen as e dey burn from top corner to the whole screen in slow motion, but could do nothing about it. That day be like film trick. Fear AMOLED, especially if you be hustler, site worker, you be person wey dey always rush enter public bus or you no get your own ride. In fact, fear AMOLED if you dey stay Lagos. E get why |
