Then you need to look up a place called HIIT(Its an indian owned/affiliated company). I think they are located somewhere around Surulere, Lagos. But I'm not so sure. You can as well conduct a keyword search on them here on Nairaland. |
maxdotng:The link is not working. |
jossybiz:What's your budget for an accommodation within that location? |
Maltaleeza:Very easy maltaleeza, from berger take the bus going to Ogba. Alight at the last bus stop. From there you can spot the UBA building and the brown coloured building beside it - that's the place just two buildings after Tantalizers. |

sendmeonly:Disclaimer: Though i'm not an HR expert but I would try to give my best two cents opinion about this. If I'm the Hiring Manager for the firm in question, sorry I won't take you as a serious person. The reasons being: 1. Unless you know the manager personally to be a male or by name, it is far too assuming to believe it must be a "He" rather than a "She", otherwise starting with your address alone as 'Dear Sir', you're ignorantly wrong. 2. I don't know why most graduates today tend to disregard certain simple rules of grammar, for example in the expression above you even repeated severally the mistake of using 'Am' instead of "l'm or I am". Please for goodness sake, this is an official capacity and a very serious one at that, so try sticking to the most acceptable norms in business writing especially when it comes to your grammar. 3. You didn't even attempt to sell yourself, how much more trying to put it in a nice way (according to your topic usage). The fact is you're applying for a procurement engineer position and yet you didn't even state specific instances that shows you have training or even some hint of professional experience in the position. Stating all that you mentioned like your experience with TEPNL (by the way don't ever use acronyms in letters without first spelling out its full meaning for the reader) is all vague to me and I can't see how related it is to the position. To me, you were only trying to impress by being verbose with "mere words" and no substance. To most hiring managers especially the ones who have tons of years of experience and have seen it all, sorry that won't fly at all. 4. Again on your grammar syntax, I also noticed you kept using the word "This". What were you attempting to do in the context you used that word? Trying to point the HR Manager to something about you I guess. Well...sorry again you failed because to me it only appeared you weren't trying to endear yourself to the manager but rather creating a distance in an attempt to hitting a first time impression of yourself to him/her. 5. Then finally, shouldn't i also say you ended the note just in the same unserious manner like you started it? Usually in letters like this, it is normally advised that after warming yourself into the consciousness of whoever it is that is hiring through the opening and the body of the letter where you get to convey some real insights about your personality to the person. It is also noteworthy, that you initiate a necessary call to action move by at least offering your availability to the needed interview to them in person at the slightest instance through a "contact me" cache at least. But yet...what have you done here? You would rather prefer to end the note just in the same bland manner as you started it. Look...I'm not an HR expert giving you this piece of opinion. Now, imagine if a qualified HR personnel where to be doing this. What do you think would be the results? Your guess is as good as mine...isn't it. So there you've it. Please make the necessary corrections and do the needful or you may as well wait for others who may be more qualified in the role to validate your questions. Have a nice day! |
khattab008:Ok....and please one more question. Do you have any programming background knowledge? |
khattab008:Please when did you receive the invite? And what were the specific instructions on it? |
Harjet: horladmejy:What is the meaning of this nonsensical attitude from you so-called graduates? Has it not already been stated that this thread serves a better purpose than for the request of GMAT test samples that the majority of you will not even bother to study. @Memunah you started it and now @teebee22 is following you wrongly. You guys should better create your own thread for such a purpose and stop the rubbish disturbance on this lovely thread. And I do believe that you guys can act matured at least in line with your graduate status. Please Eremy kindly take note about this else it messes up this fantastic thread of yours. |
brokenplate:If you're based in Lagos (Mainland) and if this great business you're talking about is really worth investing in and viable, I think there is this investment startup firm that might just be willing to collaborate on what you have to present if it's quite convincing. You can reach them on shinebizloans@mail2broker.com Just try mailing them and see how it goes. |
Yteflon:If you're so sure of its viability, then develop a prototype of this idea and create a document to pitch it to would be investors. of course, this must have been after you've gotten some measure of legal back up for your idea. But I doubt it's an idea you can even patent. Digital ideas that don't run corely on novel new technology barely get patent rights these days. I'm saying this because I'm currently into like 2 or 3 such ideas...of which "Deo Volente" may shake the region or entire continent even if they don't scale worldwide. The ideas are however not entirely my own but I have devoted enough passion and energy into them like they were mine but I don't regret my situation one bit because there's even more ideas from where the previous ones came from and it's just a matter of time...before I eventually break solo free as I'm still learning the lessons from other's experiences. If you're already thinking up funding sources, do hit me up. I may be able to assist or point you in the right direction when it comes to funding sources for such ideas. We could even work as a team to champion your idea! |
sleeknick:I was one of those who dropped their details, even though I got nothing eventually. I believe what you did is highly commendable so thanks for the efforts all the same. |
sleeknick:Hopefully I can get something good from NL for the first time. 3044960491 - FIRST BANK |
kiakiagas:Hello Kiakiagas, I do have a few questions about the above. 1. What about a Post-NYSC Graduate who is very enthusiastic about this training program? 2. Where is the location for the training program i.e. where will it be conducted or held? |
anochuko01: anochuko01:With respect to the bolded in your post. Can you fabricate a game machine? I have someone who has this innovative idea for a game machine and is looking for a "product engineer" to bring it to life. So shoot me a PM if you think you can challenge yourself. |
