lightwind:I just hope they don't. But, we citizens need to do something. Demand accountability from them. |
jiggyman:Who gave Sallah the best player to have played in EPL. Sallah is good, give him his flowers but that title will be an embarrassment to EPL. |
No lightwind:I disagree with this, buhari inflicted his pain and when he left he left with it but this one came with a structured pain that if we allow it to stand even after he's gone it can only get worse by subsequent administration and never better. If personal income tax stay with this harsh economic conditions and under shady terms, don't forget property tax will follow. No job provisions they said from the little you are able to manage to generate we must collect, then then they will ask you to pay tax for the property they didn't make it comfortable for you to acquire. We must resist tyranny in this country |
The fire came on time. This fire has human face. An accusation was made about tax law gazetted mid-week and voila fire gutted FIRS headquarters by weekend, who still don't believe the allegations against these people is definitely eating with them. Suspend the manipulated tax matters now. Nigerians deserve transparency and accountability of how their money will move and what it will be used for!!! |
Hmm, arsenal needs to really sweat today so as to maintain their marginal lead on top of the table. Anyway, Manchester city is coming!!! |
If we mount pressure on our legislators to really show working or we start recalling them, Tinubu may be impeached before 2027 election. His ineffectiveness has turned Nigeria to a disgraced country of particular concern being a member of APC designated as a terrorist party. Nigeria will overcome |
APC gains and Nigerians loss while Nigeria becomes a disgraced country |
Nigeria is being run by people of the more you look the less you see. Imagine what this letter contains!!! |
Nemere2020:This is the summary of the charades they call budget presentation. Budget of the more you look the less you see situation. |
Our senate went missing since David Mark became senate president and has been on downward spiral it only slowed down a bit when Saraki usurped their power equation but resumed the downward movement with accelerated speed under Ahmed Lawan and is not looking back under God's will Akpabio. Until constituents rise to start initiating recall process of these people, they will always take is for a ride. Imagine about just yen of them are battling recall process from their constituents and like another five are being called and dragged on social media back to back, they won't have mouth to be saying rubbish |
Bi Orlandoo:Well if under APC president yes, but in this fourth republic, I give it to Ghalli Na'aba led house of rep, then, Ken Nnamani led senate if I'm not mistaken. Those are the time Nigeria was thinking she's going somewhere never knew spoilers are on their way to take over. |
I will only take this seriously if sheikh Gumi ceases to keep his job or his rounded of with this declaration. Let's await the response from the affected first. |
We know the reform that will benefit us tomorrow definitely not the one designed by APC. A structure to emasculate the citizens of decent livelihood so that all will depend on their peanuts for survival and we end up voting rubbish in 2027. Government institution and structures - gone Opposition governors - gone Opposition parties - paralyzed Voice of reasons in national assembly - silenced Citizens economic power - dwindle Now, he wants to feast on the remaining means we have to survive so we won't be able to stand up against him in 2027. Please what sacrifices is Seyi paying with his large retinue of entourage? As a leader what sacrifices have you paid so far? Rubbish!!! |
kinokano:I hope it's true because it's very necessary. This executive thinks he's invincible and untouchable. That's what we need a parliament on the side of the people. Even if it's coming late, it's applauded. This man is too wicked to be allowed to remain peacefully on that seat. The governors should better sit up, they should forget their APC membership because it won't save them when the chips are down |
Will the electronic transfer charges still apply on every transfer from #10000 and above in spite of this tax matter? |
Editorialtimes:All of you know that the matter is deeper than all the English you people are throwing around. I've been observing the example many of you have been using of sn employee receiving #6000000 per annum. Please is that the a average income of workers in this country where minimum wage is #70000 per month giving #840000 per annum and your so called tax rate is pro-poor as you claimed, now tell me if the person receiving fg minimum wage is really exempted? Also if #6m is not the average income of employees in Nigeria per annum, then you're not realistic in your analysis and it further shows sinister intentions against an average Nigerians |
Is there any statement by the Christian Association of Nigeria on the new development on this tax issue yet? I'm awaiting the declaration of their efforts so far in ensuring Nigerians are not shortchanged in this tax matter. The matter is simple, he taxed Lagos state to stupor and enforce his Alpha-Beta to be in charge. The assessment of what an average Lagos resident get from the government is what an average Nigerians will get from this also of it's allowed to sail through. I've always known that this man will sink more Nigerians into poverty by his inhumane policies which is just about politics and wealth amassment for himself and his cronies |
This man is now officially a great disappointment! Was he in office to work for Tinubu or for the citizens of the state? Wike finally done buy market |
The only thing I know this government is truthful about is how to collect money from the pockets of Nigerians, any other ones are propa..... |
It is both ways. Seen on both gender. |
Until we know that the effectiveness of the people in our assembly is a function of what we will get from any executive the better we wake up to hold them accountable. Any citizen calling for removal of executive is a crime but if assembly men say that they are doing their job. Have we brother to ask, why is Nigeria divided onto constituencies? Why does the executive present budget to assembly people? Why does your representative has to sign to get jobs in some government parastatals? They are there because we are here. Of we want any executive to perform, we need to hold our legislators responsible. As a constituents who voted on the election of a legislators, you have the right to coordinate and initiate his recall of he's not performing. So, let's wake up and focus on our legislators for better governance |
madridguy:Yes, you are very correct but if their satanic government bring relief to the common man on the street, I think I will prefer their satanic government than this angelic government that is bringing hardship and discomfort to common man on the street |
yarimo:APC are worse. I have experience the two so I have evidence . The one from my side entered as labor party. When they ask him to show workings he decamped to APC so that all his sins can be forgiven and becomes totally useless |
Inspirer1:But, must we continue like that? What will be the future of there's no accountability? |
AfroBeatDiary:If not the way they carried it out, I would have applaud them if they carried it out constitutionally. He is a rep member, we are practicing representative democracy. Have you bothered to ask yourself why the president reads the budget in national assembly and not to Nigerians on national tv like during military time? The rep is them in the chamber. To hold executive accountable is to hold this assembly men accountable but in a constitutional way. |
malali:That's actually the game plan. Especially with the appointment of this new man there. Imagine a former head of Kaduna refinery that has been moribund for years!!!! So, he's a yes man and a chop clean mouth guy. Their plan will fail |
ruggedtimi:I can't see any southwest in the appointment above |
We good loving Nigerians have moved on... They are doing all these not for the sake of Nigeria but for their own ulterior motives ditto the hosting countries, they just can't let go... Fifa should only fine DRCongo if they are found culpable, we don't want Super eagles to qualify through the back door. No world cup for Nigeria... |
Alaafin of Oyo is what I heard of never know there's Alaafin of Yorubaland. Wonderment shall never end. I know a time will come when all the shenanigans of these so called traditional rulers Will end probably by eradicating it because in the real sense of it aside their cultural role assigned to them they have no value to modern society but even that single role accorded to them, they are making a rubbish of it showing they don't know what they are actually to protect, so scraping it off is on the horizon |
We know the truth, we know the tricks, we know what we are doing, when we are all ready, we all will do the right thing. For now, let us all be playing the ostrich. Give a snake good name so as to allow it to go. We're getting there |
muyico:PDP actually did better than these. Facts abound everywhere. Although I never supported their high-handedness but seems they are better than this administration. |
More information is needed to understand the situation |
