2special:All get ATM card now. |
APCNig:This is actually my serious concern. How I wish I'm a political scientist, I won't miss getting some documentation of his political ideologies and his foresight. I just hope we don't miss it. I don't like his governance at the presidency but, people like him are rare. We just need to have some academic materials about him. It will be a book on greatness. |
Before 2023 election, Senate presidency was an homeless orphan and came knocking on this man door, he opened thinking he will let it in only for him to kick it away with a stick. Fortunately, someone recognized it for what it is and housed it, now this man is looking for it now. Will him see it? Will it leave the house of him that housed it? Can this man attract it back to himself? 2027 will answer the question. Fingers crossed |
11doubledee:Please trust the devil at least you know directly who you are dealing with. Nigeria politicians are devil++ |
He has paid his due, it's now for him to enjoy the renumeration. Mark, Pavel need to innovate now and repackage their stuff. Elon is giving them a run for their money. I think that's great anyway. |
OBJ hatred for Tinubu is perennial and legendary. He envied the popularity and followership of Tinubu in SW politics and how he commands respect more than him in their region. But, Tinubu earned it while he blew the opportunity. His bargaining power has been being a former president, now that Tinubu is president, it has whittled down some of his influence, so OBJ will prefer to work with anyone to bring Tinubu down, but, what he failed to grasp is that, he's a soldier and Tinubu is a politician as Tinubu can't beat him in anything security and military so he can't beat Tinubu in politics. It's all a battle of wits and not for the good of Nigeria and better life for an average Nigerian. So, whatever rocks their boat |
highchief1:You are very correct, the reason he's having increased political followership. Even those that are in opposition today, he didn't send them away, they chose their path after being satisfied from him. The support he gave Oshiomole in Edo state is classic and any politician wlii want such a dependable ally. Wike and Tinubu can't have issues because the contract would have being defined from the beginning. As far I can assume, Wike will be the vice presidential candidate in 2031 in which nobody will oppose besides, it's a vacuum in Tinubu plan that he just filled. Only hoe I wished they planned for the masses as much as they planned their political steps! |
Nijaforward:Yes, after 2027 election. But, I doubt it sha because he's the candidate in waiting for vice president in 2031. |
This post is a great one. Kudos op. The reason for the tariff is just to raise money to put into the pocket of politicians and start giving us paper economics from their so called expert. Where are our professors of ecomics, trade etc. Those policies were never put with Nigeria at heart but with how much money they can make into their pockets then deceiving us with increase in igr and other economic indices that doesn't improve the lives of the common man. |
They have started deceiving themselves again instead of them to start doing things differently, thru are following the same format, when they lose now, they will start shedding crocodile tears shouting rigging. Each of you had performed before the results of your performance is what the masses are experiencing until now. Let's assume you have repented and regrouped to do the right thing now, tell us proactively what you really want to do differently to solve just one out of the numerous problems you people have created for this country. Group A looters are in power, Group B looters are regrouping to capture the power and loot their own. All bunch of selfish people |
delpee:Then, that's serious. May God comfort their families |
May their soul rest in peace. It's likely the driver suddenly dozed off while approaching that spot. Lesson: in such a long journey, provision should be made for two drivers, so that when one is tired, another can come in to assist. That's a serious loss there. May God console their families and loved ones. |
EPL having 11/30 in the list is big. The various EPL clubs management needs to still think outside the box to make it bigger. YNWA |
All of you there and those you are criticizing are part of our problem in this country. We the masses know you people don't know the reality of living in Nigeria, because you all are privilege to either state, national or parastatals treasury and you all satisfied yourselves without winking. It is well. All of you should carry your lamentations away. Give them power now, the beast in them will rise again. |
Fubara problem is just that he's not wise. Lesson to learn: when you are in a position search after the wisdom to sustain it. Be logical and realistic, listen to everything and everybody but be yourself. Many advise out of love, some envy, some pay back etc. the ability to filter all through these and make a sound decision that time will approve is wisdom. Fubara started the fight way too early that was the genesis of his failure, he was deceived to believe that once he win the guber court cases, he's high up there. He never knew that there are many ways to kill a rat without shedding blood. I'm not supporting Wike high-handedness but, this is politics which is strictly a game of power, money, influence and permanent interest while the people are used as pawn. The earlier you settle this first with your self the better. So, let him eat the humble pie as we have always advised him and learn real politicas. |
I don't see anything damaging in what Peter Obi said to warrant censorship. It's his point of view which he's entitled to. Even though I don't see any hard thing in being in opposition currently, OBJ was horrible during his tenure to opposition state government and those he perceived as enemies. I'm not holding brief for the current government but we need not make a mountain out of a mole hill. |
To be logical though not a fan of any, I will still prefer Arsenal semifinal outing to conference league champion for the following reasons. 1. They made more money than Chelsea. It takes good money to buy and maintain good players. 2. It is class. How many top class player will want to come to Chelsea if the only trophy they can hope to win is conference league? 3. Even the handlers of Chelsea know better, the reason they tried all their best to qualify for champion league next season 4. The conference league may be a trophy for the players of today, but it's a permanent reminder of how the club has fallen in recent times to the club's legends. Though I congratulate them for winning it and bringing it to EPL, but, it must be a permanent symbol of how the club need to be rebuilt so as to command her deserved respect among her pairs. |
grandsuccess:I love this your input of his access to the database. Please can you expantiate on the likely benefits of that to him as against the other business juggernaut of his like. |
I'm seen a playback game here. It's not only Tinubu that can send mole into other parties. This guy is on assignment to be an insider informant. After achieving his goal or being frustrated, he will decamp to the coalition party. Two can play the game, Hehehehe. The political terrain is becoming more interesting. Fingers crossed |
I opened it in hope of seen the list of selected institutions, but, alas I was disappointed. Anyway, it's a good development and I hope they keep to their promise of not only uni Abuja. That will be a great youth empowerment program. |
Shows inconsistency and the mindset of settling for less. When will their time comes to be consistent in champion's league? |
PDP had their turn, then opposition parties were crying. Now APC is having their time now and opposition is weeping. Another party will still come and opposition will still be wailing. Nigeria politics na turn by turn. It's bad but, that's the truth. So, ighodalo rest, your party had their time and today is APC while tomorrow will be another party. Therefore, wait for your turn |
tunjijones:Infact, you mirrored out my mind on this matter. We need a group mouthpiece that will be criticizing them consistently, with that, APC won't take is for granted |
Angelfrost:Very logical thought. |
Court!!! And my judgement is Okpebholo carry on, no Lele. I rise!!! I don't really know the substance of the case but it's obvious to the blind from day one that Okpebholo will win the case. Judiciary had not rock the boat of the executive since Tinubu entered. Hence, the issue is get INEC to declare you and the judiciary will do the rest. It's not about APC, it's about 2023 format. Solido will be declared by INEC, his election will be challenged but, no matter the case, the court will still declare him winner The book 'The Incorruptible Judge' opened my eyes to judiciary and behold it's not limited to Nigeria, even in the so-called saner climes it's there only not as much as our own. Just pray never to be a victim of the wrong side of judiciary. Nigeria politics can easily be plot on graph and slope calculated except you are either a politician or just being emotional. No new player among them, we already know their capacity both what they can really do and propaganda, their strength and weakness and their connectivity, so nothing spectacular anyone of them want to bring. But, when the masses are ready, we won't need to wait for any politician. It is well |
The truth is the elites and the investment guys are having it good time in this government only that this government ensures that their numbers will not increase as he's sinking more average citizens into poverty. I've always known Tinubu to be an elitist. Buhari that supposed to be for the masses lacked enforcement and follow-through capacity so, his programs for the masses were hijacked by the jackals. The obvious sign that Nigerians are the enemies of Nigerians. This is the time for the money bags to grow and the masses are groaning. All will be well |
surgical:Summary of Tinubu government with respect to the masses. |
Angelfrost:Ask the people involved, they are likely to tell you that they took shortcut, hence the outcome. There are procedure of doing it, if you don't, church will give you what they have then you are on your own. |
Angelfrost:The most important thing is payment of bride price. After that legalization which can be done in either religious way or registry. All registered churches and mosque offer government certified marriage certificate. That's part of the legal cleric assignment once the religious denomination is registered in Nigeria. |
StillDtruth:Nigeria law doesn't recognize co-habitation of whatever definition it's given. If she's worthy of giving you children, then, she's worthy of bride price no matter how small. And as you said, of the partner is a refugee, runaway or orphan, that's why there's court marriage. What is not good can never change over night to become good except our society is on self-destruction It is well |
emkz:You are such a realist! I've been saying it that even the so called opposition and coalition know that they can't stop him from winning the second term. They are just trying to whip up emotional sentiment to make his term ungovernable when they will be shouting nonexistent rigging and electoral fraud. Every logical person knows as it stands now that all the personalities in the coalition are either spent or lightweight politicians that are aggrieved and just want to draw Tinubu attention to them, also, they have not told us what they are going to do differently and how they are going to pragmatically solve just one of the myriad of problem confronting this nation. As I always say I'm watching. Only I won't want anybody to disturb our ear of electoral malpractice when they are ticking every wrong indices now. |
Politicking runs in Tinubu blood. How I wish he handles governance like this. Honestly, his political sagacity is topnotch and next to none in Nigeria of today but how I wish he match it up even if it's 50% of this on governance! He would have been the delight of everyone. Give it to him, no politician in Nigeria Tinubu is not in touch with. They know where they meet and what they discuss. The greatness of this nation is not in the hand of any politician but in the hand of the misgoverned masses when we are ready. Except there is a great shift in our electoral law before 2027, Tinubu is a winner already, even all those opposition and coalition know this as true but pride will not let them own up to allow the masses make a real demand because they know their own sins also will be required from them. |
