Our minister of terrorist affairs has given us update. |
brain54:You have started the only solution that can work, why allow distraction again? As it is now, we can't have a Nigerian leader but only a tribalist cum religious bigot emerging to lead Nigeria either through democracy or through barrels of gun. What I'm hoping now is for the north to frustrate Tinubu and to pay them back, he takes that tough decision. I still believe the last have not been heard of Nnamdi Kanu case. |
SpencerForbes:You part of the few reasonable and neutral people remaining on this platform. We need not to be silent but keep talking. The docility of the masses is the platform of demigod status of our elites. Gradually, our voices may become loud enough to awaken the right mindset in Nigerians. |
SpencerForbes:A very good submission. This our so called appreciative mentality is seen from another perspective as inferiority complex, someone you can throw anything at. Please, don't you think this is why Nigeria is not working due to how we have presented ourselves to our politicians and elites. They do road we thank them, they provide street lights we danced for them, they build hospital, we sing their praises. Have we asked them what they are doing with our vast resources? Our vats? Our taxes? |
I never expect them to even get a draw in this match, so, the matchis going as predicted. I hope the eyes of FSG and Slot is clear now. You don't discard what is working. You strengthen it. There's definitely a dressing room problem aside tactical issues. My great LFC loosing at home to NFC. We shall rise again. Still proudly LFC |
I understand op. He's trying to look for something new to front. But this his type of argument only exists in arts and social science where you can just pick up a thought and start picking holes in a scalar manner perhaps you may get somewhere but not in the world of science where everything is proofed by experiments, observation and conclusion and no matter be the discovery, it's a work in progress. So try harder |
All this is to make running on the platform of PDP not enticing enough for Jonathan candidacy. But if Jonathan can surprise them in spite of, then, we may be on for another political gaming |
I've welcomed them back home before nau. Since they can't fly to world cup, let them jug back home to Nigeria. Who God has blessed, no man can curse. But is the reverse also true?? |
Please, our dearest super eagles, we know you have tried your best but those guys are too stubborn, don't cry, don't worry, we are waiting for you at the airport tomorrow to welcome you back home. We've missed you so much. |
If this PDP repositioning can start now with this convention, their best bet in presidential candidate that can launch them back to limelight is Good luck Jonathan. Yes, Tinubu had defeated him before, but the dynamics has changed now. There's no more perceived messiah in Tinubu personality again. Jonathan must have seen some missing link that need forthright attention to produce results, south South and South East votes will be on lockdown for him, the north can trust him to handle over to not just a Northern but of their choice vs Tinubu that's unpredictable to them north central and even south west will be divided which may help give victory to Jonathan presidency. Makinde should be compensated with his choice of successor and good appointment at the federal level, same with Bala Mohammed, then pick a north central Muslim strong politician as a VP candidate |
I see it as emotional blackmail. When the right female emerges as a candidate, not as the candidate of women or to fill up any gender bias based on their own imagination, but, as a candidate in touch with the reality of the people and apparent real solutions to issues at hand, she will win with a landslide victory. After all, women are voted reps, senators, governors, mayors etc. Besides it's likely to be an all female contest in search of Trump's replacement |
To be on the safe side, let the manager manage the game without using him while he's on the bench. |
I like what I'm seeing. At least the convention hold and election will be conducted. No matter the outcome of whatever court judgement latter, it will be settled las las. At least let's have an alternative political platform. Let PDP live PDP live matter #NoToOnePartyState. |
Gattuso, go and face Halland in peace. He's waiting for you to say hello in your net. Because you have no solution to hurricane Halland, you now want to take it out on the organizers because of Africa slot. Rest and prepare to face your playoffs in peace |
This is an evidence that officially, Nigeria does not have military again. We only have disguised civilians in military gears. I can't wrap my head around it that a serving general is kidnapped while on assignment in broad daylight by some bloody civilians |
Madness vs Madness. Let's see who is madder? Hahaha |
Wike is the wrong one here. He doesn't know how structure works in this case. Wisdom demand that he respect himself by not joining issues with the younger naval officer. What happened to approaching him to tell him this is my mission and he's unyielding then, tell him don't worry I'll speak to your boss then turned back and go? After all he's a federal minister, he can Access the guy's top brass. So, he's unruly here |
The incoming president of the federal republic of Nigeria. |
anonimi:The way forward is enlightenment, not just complaining and sleep over it. I keep telling the people our legislators are our power. Any protest against a sitting president, if not we'll designed call easily be termed treason but we have the power to hold our legislators responsible. Leaving out the legislators that are directly answerable to us and fighting the executive that is not directly answerable to us is the reason our voices are taken for noise. Legislators are representative of the people, we can initiate their recall if they chose not to be doing our bidding. Criticizing the executive without holding the legislators accountable in a democracy will yield little results. |
But anonimi:The masses joined them by their silence due to any or combination of many factors among which are: ignorance, laziness, cowardice, negligence etc. |
anonimi:Greedy elite class. |
floss:It's very easy, it's the greediness of our political class that's making it seems it's difficult and that's what they want us to see and believe. It's glaring to the blind that we are tired of being together. Regionalism at it's least or we go our separate ways. Constitution amendment to allow for that is not a rocket science. So, solving Nigeria's problem is that simple |
Hmm, a rehearsal of Seyi's script to become Lagos state governor. We shall see. Man at all at at all is not God |
This forms a very good read for relaxation and fun after a good day's work. Keep it coming |
Effort in futility. Despite lots of broke states we still want to create another milking field for those political class. Should on case, there's anyone at all, it should go to the south east to reduce on the North South disparity. Besides that, NO to any state creation. Regionalism is the way to go |
Caf and Fifa is enjoying their rules. There must be non interference by the government in football administration. So, those guys there become demigod and do what they like. So, from Fifa to Caf to Nff should get out. We know on Nigeria system any public money disbursement ends up in private pocket especially if public monitoring is absent. |
AMINDA:You made the right point. This is the reason I don't engage in tribalism discussions. Our elites are one irrespective of tribes and religion. They only sell the narratives that suit them at that time to us to keep us busy or whip up our sympathy. The major tribes are complete in the cycle of rub my back and I rub yours. Many of their deep alliances are scanty in public spaces and those goes along way in their strategizing. It is well with Nigeria |
I've never believed in this Slot, even his first season trophy was a fluke. I stopped taking him serious when he lost against PSG in last season champion's league. He rode on the determination and cohesiveness of the guys. Now, he has fully taken over, he's real stuff is showing. No replacement for a substitute for a 34y/o CB , don't know what he's doing with Wataru Endo, Chiesa that is your first transfer. Dispersed a squad that has gel well to sign players we don't need. I've never believed in that Wirtz while I don't see Isak performing. They are just record-breaking nonsense. LFC danced to media hype to sign no needed players and dispatch our performing squad. It will surprise me if LFC win even EFL this season. It is well. Anyway, proudly #YNWA |
Needless controversy from an hypocritical government. I don't even know it till now, though I dislike it anyway. |
It's MCI this season to lift EPL. Now they have touched that top, it's a matter of time before they really sit there then consolidate while other clubs playing catch up. Bad transfer decision cost LFC but, anyway we will overcome it. #YNWA |
Overhauling our educational system is very necessary. But I think it must be wholistic and not this selective exercise. In Reality, a credit in WAEC not not to be a prerequisite for admission into arts and humanities in higher institution, a pass is ok. Also, a credit in English ought not to be a prerequisite for admission in higher institution for science or engineering courses, a pass is ok. There should be structure that will make our basi education system really basic. With that, those that really have what it takes to go all to higher institution will embark on secondary education while those that can't can opt for technical school, learn trade or business and move on with their life without feeling shortchanged. Then secondary education will be concentrate on subject combinations with respect to what you want to study and not this experimental jack of all trades we are doing. |
O will be glad to have his portrait on footmat if possible so I can always match on it to constantly remind me of having throughout plan and human face and not to be selfish when executing policies. |
