SportsEspn Yapping Gj And Nigeria by saintneo(op): 10:03am On Jul 05, 2010
ESPN yapping GJ and Nigeria - Good luck Jonathan. You'll need it

Good luck Jonathan. You'll need it

Interesting to watch how various nations across the globe have dealt with their demise at the World Cup. The beauty of such a tournament means there are 31 potential sackings or resignations to watch, and 31 separate inquests to pore over. That's more than a Premier League and a half's worth. By my reckoning there have now been nine managerial departures, with the promise of more to come.

Otto Rehhagel quit Greece and Takeshi Okada stood down after the 'have a go Henry' brigade, quite rightly, criticised their defensive tactics. Sven's short-term contract saw him trouser another exorbitant fee for failure, Paul Le Guen stood down after claiming he couldn't "unify" the team - funny what happens when you play one of Africa's best strikers on the wing eh? Javier Aguirre quit Mexico, Marcello Lippi resigned having lead Italy from the World Cup to the wooden spoon, while Raymond Domenech called it time with France about four years too late.

But of all the reactions, Nigeria's has been the funniest. In the aftermath of the Super Eagles' last place in a very qualifying-friendly group, the government seem to have taken a straw poll amongst the most disappointed and vociferous fans and decided to suspend their national team for two years - an astonishing decision that came right from the top, and the elegantly-titled president Goodluck Jonathan. Aptly titled, because he'll need it trying to explain the rationale to a very unhappy FIFA.

PoliticsVp Holds On To Kaduna Govt House by saintneo(op): 2:34am On Jun 30, 2010
Almost two months after quitting as Kaduna State governor to become Vice- President, Alhaji Namadi Sambo is still
occupying Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna, the official name of Kaduna State Government House.
The Governor, Mr. Patrick Yakowa, who was his deputy, still operates from his personal house at 17, Iman Close,
Anguwan Rimi, G.R.A. Kaduna.
The Media Assistant to the governor, Mr. Reuben Buhari, confirmed this on phone, when our correspondent sought his
official response to the issue.
Buhari added that Yakowa would release the list of his new cabinet, after dissolving the one he inherited about a
month and half ago from Sambo.
The situation has further fuelled speculation that Yakowa is yet to break away from the grip of his former direct
boss.
However, Senior Special Assistant to the Vice-President on Media and Publicity, Umar Sani, said, “When was the VP
sworn in to warrant this type of comment? Is the governor of the state complaining? Has the VP ever made any
statement that he will not pack out?

Forget?
So are you telling me because I have a heavy heart I shouldnt or cant pray. Please, this doesnt make sense to me at all. Utterly nonsense!

If you are referring to being successful in life. You also have that wrong, as I am the most successful person in my family (mother and sisters). I have accomplished more than all of them combined, and its not like I am saying this to make it seem like I am praising vanity or being better than them in any way shape or form.
OK! That is the more reason you should forget. You are very much ahead of them, take this as an opportunity; you never know what lies ahead.

@poster
U sound very much like my friend. she is so locked up in her cage that i advised her to become a nun.

U might have encountered the wrong men vis-a-vis ur home, office, school, everywhere; but be assured that not all are the same.

Now back to ur sister, I think U should forgive and forget. I even wonder how you pray
I pray alot, without prayers I dont know where I would be now.
how can U pray with such a heavy heart?

3 years is a very long time staying away from your family. My deductions, I believe U lack focus and progress in your dreams; this is because, your mind is clouded w/ hate.

As a man, I have being such situations not romantically, but in business - however, I didn't stop walking, currently I'm having the greatest fun in my life.

It's high time U confronted the enemy, in other to make peace.
