His sack is long over due, there have been many lives lost from plane crashes that would have been avoided, if only he was on top of his job.

He compromised a lot. It's not tribal related.

Ngwakwe: Mr. Joyce Nkemakolam congratulations.

Remember, your enemies will want to lay banana spills on every side of your way just to see you fall.

Remain selfless and never discrimination when rendering your services to this country.

Be fair and honest, make sure things are done according to laid down rules, don't cut corners.

Eschew tribalism and nepotism but remember to balance the lopsided appointments of the past.

Be a Great Ambassador of your people

biafran soul: Coming in from Asaba this morning, I noticed that the River Niger bridge the connects the West and Old Eastern region is seriously vibrating and may collapse soon. The traffic on the already weakened old bridge is also a great concern even as the expansion ridges are already weakened by wear and tear. With the way things are now, the bridge may give way soon if nothing drastic is done about it.
^^^^^^

The second Niger bridge should be federal govt. top priority, this is to avoid cutting off Eastern part of the country.

There would be amnesty for Boko Haram.

What are they killing / fighting for?

Anybody who supports or ask for amnesty to be given to Boko Haram, should be executed , for his / her family to know what those that lost their family members experienced.

Biafra rep: FALLACY! What swing votes are you blabbing about? The fact is that Igbos have a bigger voting block than the Yorubas, the Igbos make up over 95% of the 5 south east states, one half of Lagos state, 4O% of Abuja, 1/3 of Kano city, and equally has considerable population in many other states of the federation. The Igbos largely contributed to the success of GEJ with their block vote!

chukwudi44: I de laugh like obasnjo. Was Bakare not buhari's running mate in the last elections? Why didn't the yorubas vote for him? Dayo you really amaze me with your sentimantal analysis. You really believe yorubas make up 80% of lagos? Have you heard the popular saying "lagos is no man's land" how do you think that came about.Lagos like Kadunna is too cosmopolitan and the chances of any of the presidential aspirants securing more than 60% of votes there would be very slim. You will just have to hold me to my words and if it pleases God to keep us alive, we will both reanalyse the results of the 2015 elections in the light of this statements.

I know one thing for sure, the lagos I live in is definity not up to 70% yoruba population
^^^^^

The highest may be 50% Yoruba, which is also in doubt.

Though, Igbos are more than 40% of Lagos population.

** "Let The Glory Of Nigeria Be Restored In His (GEJ) Time"- Pastor E. Adeboye

On Friday, 14th December 2012, President Goodluck Jonathan attended the 15th Holy Ghost Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

At that event, Pastor E. Adeboye led the mammoth crowd in attendance to pray to God for the president.
The General Overseer prayed and said “God should direct him so that the glory of Nigeria will be restored in his time”.

He added: “God, please give him the divine enablement, courage; Lord lead him (president) aright during his tenure, let the glory of Nigeria be restored"

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/12/echoes-of-2011-polls-jonathan-returns-to-redemption-camp-adeboye-prays-god-to-give-him-wisdom/

Less than 2months after those prayers were said, Nigeria conquered Africa in a historic African Cup win. The nation erupted in jubilation over the AFCON glory that came after 19yrs of waiting.

Does anyone still doubt the efficacy of prayers? Watch out for more fulfilment of this powerful prayer in other sectors (power sector inclusive): “God should direct him so that the glory of Nigeria will be restored in his time”

Let all patriotic Nigerians say Amen. Amen!
^^^^^

Amen.

This would highly reduce unemployment in Aba ( Abia State ). The bigger target is likely to export to other African countries, meaning more revenue.

dafnna: in 2015, northerners will be desperate to pull back power to their region.
The opposition can never win the forth coming elections against PDP without the support of the north.
Let us not deceive ourselves. Jonathan is clearly not capable of translating Nigeria to the next level. His presence in Aso-rock shows the poor state of our electoral process. As a nigerian-canadian, i am baffled on how he got there and mindset of our people who voted for him, because i learnt the election was on average a bit free and fair.
APC, i will advice you nominate a Marwa OR Ribadu for president and fashola OR pat utomi for vice-president. PDP is the devil's tool against Nigeria, i speak from a spiritual angle.
my most preferred choice is Marwa/ fashola ticket. These two have performances above AVERAGE as governors of the most complex state (LAGOS).
A muslim-muslim ticket is not the issue now. Nigeria must move forward by getting rid of PDP.
I miss my country badly.I love you guys.
^^^^^^

Then advice APC to use Christain / Christain as their candidate. And the presidential candidate must also be from the South, we've had enough of the North.

There must be two Christians that can move the nation forward, ok?

PointB: My candid advice to APC: Pick Rochas as your presidential candidate and pair him with a muslim from the North. Pitch it as strategy to re-unite the country. 8 years later power can go back to the North
.

Any other permutation hands power back to the incumbent.

APC is a tool that the North want to use and return to power by all means, through the aid of SW.

We already know who their presidential candidate and VP are.

One thing is certain, believe it or leave it, Muslim / Muslim ticket can't win election in present and even future Nigeria equation.

.
PoliticsRe: North Shops For Vice-Presidential Candidate by saintohia: 4:05pm On Mar 10, 2013
thelastPope: Isn't it so shameful to hear that in 2013, 53 years after independence, a set of idiotas up north are sitting down to look for a vice presidential candidate having concluded that they will produce the president and some other set of idiotas down south are actually waiting to be chosen to do the yes-man hatchet job. Some people don't even have any sense of pride. How repugnant is this? Pitiful slave mentality! What in the world makes the lousy foools think it is their right to produce the president? If Oshiomole ever accept such crap, he will loose my respect! Why can't he be the president himself?

Anyway, let them continue to gather. "Their gathering is not of me saith the Lord". For over forty years, these foools plundered and wasted us. They stole from us and sodomized our societies. If they think we are ready to go back there after seeing the light, the joke is on them.

On the side, no vice presidential candidate has ever succeeded his boss in Nigeria apart from GEJ! And GEJ succeeded because of his bosses death. Not even in the military dispensation did it happen.

ijaw citizen: Why do you igbos like combining South-South & South-East when such issues are being discussed? You try to create the impression to other nigerians that igbos and other South-south groups are politically and culturally homogenous, and this is very wrong. Stop spreading Biafra propaganda, Niger Delta has come of age, you can't just annex our territory anymore

(quoting Ojukwu;--"the status quo remains the same) Igbos can not PRETEND to be fighting our battles anymore. We are not your Eastern neighbours anymore, is that too difficult to understand?

What we need in southern nigeria is RESPECT for each other's territory, ethnic sovereighty, and Interest. Having said that, I want to point out that Ijaws have nothing against Biafra neither do we have something to do with Biafra.

The North took the cheating on other regions too far.

Oil ( blocks, wells ) must be returned to the people that owns the land. The South should be fighting for 100% resource control, not even PIB. The federal govt. doesn't share from the Nothern agricultural produce nor do each state & LGs given monthly allocation from money derived from such sale.

All the regions must have equal number of States & LGs, else scrap them and go back to regionalization

Consideration for power to return to the North, must be towards 2027.

.
PoliticsRe: N'delta Coalition Wants Imbalance In Oil Block Allocation Tackled by saintohia: 6:25pm On Mar 09, 2013
peleson: We do not want federal character in oil fields, the owners of the land oil is found owns the oil PERIOD. Niger delta do not share agric lands in the North.
If federal character should be imployed, it should be on council LGA. We need equal number of states n LGAs.
After all, the british that master minded the corrupt 1st population census has confessed that they doubled the population of the north to punish the south for asking them to leave Nigeria.
South is more populated than North afterall.
There is no where in the world that people living in the region that has harsh weather condition n desert encroachment is more populated than people living in conducive weather environment but in nigeria, that is the corrupt case.

thelastPope: There is nothing that can tarnish the north's image more than almost 50 years of misrule, plunder and wanton destruction of Nigeria while chanting one Nigeriya! The north has done a good job of that. No one needs to do more.

Give it up. The only people that will believe such articles are the same traitors that betrayed us southerners in 1967, 1994 and 1998. They are trying to betray us again but we are far wiser now. Can't you see the SS and SE have made up their minds? Open your eyes. Now we have forged a strong alliance with the NC who have also been terribly marginalised and mess up both by the NE/NW and some of their own leaders. Nobody will buy your story anymore. You guys destroyed and plundered Nigeria and used divide and rule tactics to turn us against each other. It will never work again.

Why do you think nobody cared about the last subsidy protest in the SS and SE? Only your slaves will believe your crap again. We are fed up of it. We will get equity whether you like it or not.
