Gud afternoon nairalander especially my oga acadollar I have not seen any success story concerning daehan theology university on this thread.pls those that have applied to the school should shed more light so that other applicants can benefit because i am planning to do MSC in theology at the school by September this year....... |

acadollar: Look for schools that offer scholarship to foreigners or better still if u have some base pay the tuition and when ur here u can always adjust. For jobs, it depends on the kind of job ur looking for and also how much time ur program will allow u if u get admitted But if u are hard working u can survive here and make it ur starting point. MERRY XMAS! same to you and happy new year in advance...preparing to apply for msc in theology by next year June at daehan university...... |

Mathemagician1: (1) In a class of 35 students,19 take history and 12 take economics. If 5 takes both subjects,how many take neither? Solution:
Total students = 35 History student = 19 Economics students = 12 Students taking both courses = 5 Economics = (12 - 5)= 7 History = (19 - 5) = 14 Neither = 35 - ( 14 + 7 + 5) = 9
(2) In a class of 36 students,29 do mathematics and 20 do chemistry. If 5 students do neither,how many students do chemistry but not mathematics?
Solution:
Total students = 36 Mathematics students = 29 Chemistry students = 20 Neither = 5 Both = ((29 - x) + (20 - x) + x + 5) - 36 = 18 Chemistry = 20 - 18 = 2
(3) In a school of 750 students,320 are girls. 559 students do some kind of sport. If 101 girls do no sport,how many boys also do no sport?
Solution:
Total students = 750 Total Sport student = 559 Girls population = 320 Boys population = (750 - 320) = 430 Non-sport activity girls = 101
Sports active girls = (320 - 101) = 219 Sports active boys = (559 - 219) = 340 Non-sport activity boys = (430 - 340) = 90 thanks mathematicians |

ladokuntlad: 1)
35=(19-5)+(12-5)+5+x
35=14+7+5+x
35-26=x
X=9
2)
36=(29-x)+(20-x)+x+5
36=54-x
36-54=-x
-18=-x
X=18
thus chemistry only gives 20-18=2
3)solved already by mathemagician1 thanks ladokuntlad |

Excellent7: Hello! Please can I get a copy of your marking scheme, since your are now marking Nairaland comments. I am responsible for what I post, but you are responsible for what you understand. It is very obvious that you are hard of understanding and most probably a product of the skewed double digit admission system. I made it clear, I was interrogating some of the criteria, but in your challenged comprehension you might have been expecting an essay, and chose to pick on my post instead of making your contribution to the thread. I just checked your profile and understand that you are looking to start or have started your NYSC and if so, you are posted to a school and may be handling primary or secondary school kids in English. I also guess that this could have been way beyond your dreams and so you think yourself qualified to start grading Nairaland post. I would have spared time to teach you some types of literary expression, but unfortunately I am at the moment very busy in real life. I looked at my post and except for some question marks, I missed putting, I conveyed my thoughts. I guess you never came across it in the literary circles that you can make an issue clearer just by asking questions and not answering it, so that the audience get involved by answering the questions and drawing their own conclusions. I looked at your profile and your posts and observed that in 2015, you most probably a graduate of your sound academic system, cannot take screenshot from your phone, challenged in handling your business on the NYSC portal, have never made any reasonable post since you joined the forum and have turned the Forum to your "go to" site for problem solving. When next you see a thread if you do not have any reasonable comment or contribution to make keep off. You can never compare one thing. You have to have two things before you can make comparison. Finish your service, do your GMAT or whatever and have a taste education in other climes, then you can be in a position to compare. nice write up |
