It seems you applied for pure Economics. They require Graduate Record Examinations(GRE) test results for the course. That was the sole reason I didn't put in for that programme.

A little tip -

Google the bavarian CGPA formula. It's one equation they
use in converting other standards to the German grading
system.

Hohenheim offers International Business and Economics, but the deadline already passed. Cologne too, albeit you need to go through the Uniassist route. A lot of schools have stopped receiving applications. Check ESB Reutlingen too. But the chances are slim right now.

When a study programme is offered in German and English, does it mean that the same modules
are offered in both languages? I applied for MSc Economics and Management, did anybody else do?
These Leibniz Hannover people are confusing me again. I have just got a notification from two schools

Jena is not using uni-assist that is why the number of applicants is Nigerian.

Applying earlier to Jena is what can give one advantage. I applied in April and got admission just about a week after sending signed application letter.

All the hype just proves that Pride Goes Before Fall. Instead of preparing well, they went there to slay. It's high time, we got a better coach and better players drafted into the team.

It's good to know the reality before going to Germany, so that
we will be prepared to see the worst:
1. Like not having a good job, or one at all.
2. Finding it hard to socialise or date.
3. Not communicating effectively with your German etc

Ja. The Session is the 2019/2020 Winter Session and applications are on. Admissions and scholarships will be given this year and scholarship holders will leave for Deutschland first quarter of next year.

that's right. DAAD Helmut Schmidt programs are development oriented.

The one I applied for sha didn't say it was "Helmut Schmidt", unless they are just similar
in nature. Let me hope for the best though. That link, which was shared a couple of minutes ago
states that the next scholarship phase is for 2019.

Sadly, I don't have. I just wanna learn the basics here. Then when I get there, I will go for an intensive program.
Re - the scholarship, kindly choose Development-oriented scholarships.

Choose Development oriented postgraduate scholarship... It is in the menu.. It works for me, because, I wanna study Economics.

Hi. Kindly check the general MSc scholarships open to everybody. That was the one I applied too.
I heard that the use of scholarship can fast track your VISA at the embassy.

Can you imagine. I got to realise that they are a slow school, while I was reading
through the older threads. I heard they delayed a lot of Nigerians last year. On top of that
I made them my primary choice in the DAAD scholarship. I hope it doesn't matter anyway.
