It seems to be the result of some sort of psychological damage Nigerians have developed recently in which no matter how rubbish another nationality’s stuff is, Nigerians appear to automatically think that thire own Nigerian one is inferior to it.

This is a good point you made here. But what am referring to is the fact that, many seemed to agree that the pictures of the University of Ghana we saw was by far better than most of the Nigerian universities. But some Nigerian universities like BUK, UI etc also had great great pictures. Am not one of those to think that anything foreign is better than anything Nigerian. But we must give Nigeria credit where it due and a hard knock where it failing. Infact I once saw a trend on Twitter about people from Zimbabwe or so, hailing Nigerian's rail system. So, it not only in Nigeria that citizens talk down on their own country....
