I did experience the same when i bought my RN8. But i switched to eu rom..now i get more than 10hours SOT. You can download the last stable version of miui 11 of eu rom on xiaomi.eu. It has the best battery backup so far.
I want to do this for my RN7.

After downloading the EU ROM for my device, how does one perform the update?

Does it require those twrp and stuff?
or just directly from the updater app?

Thanks.

Danielhouston:
Tribalism and racism can both have the same effect. The only difference is that racism is worse and here’s why....

A Yoruba person may not like igbos and deny them opportunities, while giving it to his own person. But igbos also have the power to fight back and create their own. One group is not superior to the other. They will keep fighting and there’ll be no winner.

A white person or white people have the economic, institutional, financial power to control other races. The white race is also more in number than any other race. That is why they were the slave owners. They control the world. Their passport holds more power, so does their currency. A white person can live in Nigeria and not have papers, yet own companies. But a Nigerian has to pay €10,000 into a blocked account just to get a visa to study. Can a Yoruba do that to the Igbos?

If I go to a Yoruba shop to buy food and they don’t sell to me, I go to another shop. If I go to Germany and they deny me because of I’m black, I go to Spain, the same, France, UK, Canada, where will I go? And those are the profitable places that have the power to make my life better.

You also may not know which part of Nigeria someone is from until they speak or tell you. Hence they can easily escape tribalism. But being black is obvious. They can see color. You don’t have to say anything. Seeing you alone already disqualifies you. Which means your existence is a problem to some people. You can be bilingual and escape tribalism. Even if you’re mixed race, you still face racism.

However they can both have similar psychological and physical effects on someone. Tribalism and racism can both get you killed. Except that racism is on a broader spectrum that affects you based on your skin color.
Thank you. I get the bigger picture now.

People pls understand that racism is not something you overcome by speaking the language and pretending it doesn’t exist. Ignoring racism does not make it go away. And no, you can not live above it. That thought is dangerous.

The issue of Yoruba vs Igbo and Bayelsa choosing their own people is NOT racism. That is tribalism. They are different things. The issue of South Africans attacking Nigerians is NOT racism. It is prejudice. Pls know the difference. Racism has to do with “race”. Black people cannot be racist towards each other.

A lot of black people in Europe suffer internalized racism, they think if they do things to make the white man happy and take the blame for the racism they experience, it will make it better. You can integrate all you want, speak the language, obey the law, kiss their behind and they will still hate you! There is no excuse for racism and it is NOT your fault. Don’t let them guilt trip you.

I try as much to stay away from black people who don’t see racism or who pretend it doesn’t exist. They are the worst. Some of them are married to racist white people. They’re the ones the racist white people are referring to when they say “I’m not racist, my husband is black”, “I’m not racist, my best friend is black”. Don’t be that black friend. Call them out!

If you’re tired of hearing about racism, close your ears and keep living in Lala land. Don’t tell people not to talk about it or that they’re over reacting. The rights you’re enjoying today is because some black people never stopped talking about it. They fought for your right to travel abroad.
Op I commend what you're doing with your thread, kudos.

But I want to understand something. I haven't stepped out of the country and all but with what I see on the internet, football plus racist stories heard, I was of the opinion that these things @bolded are same thing playing out with different Terminologies as fitting to the case point scenerio. Racism for race. Tribalism for tribe etc PREJUDICE hiding behind different curtains.

But what do I know? With the way you've been hitting on this issue, I'm guessing you must have had pretty bad experiences that formed your stance. Can you please state specific times where racism is being played out and totally differed from Tribalism? Like what is seen happening between different tribes like we see in Nigeria? Let's leave their terms and look at what is been played out back scene.

I'd really love to be enlightened. Thanks in advance.

Hello..Good evening..

I'm a student.

With the 5k, I can make a monthly internet subscription of 2k to access online resource for studies(YouTube videos specifically) pending school resumption.

The balance of 3k would be used to meet other necessary miscellaneous expenses pending when the lockdown would be over. Thanks and God bless.
