| Celebrities › STAR To Celebrate 2face At 40 With All-star Tribute Concert by salau01(op): 10:37pm On Sep 17, 2015 |
Visit www.latestforya..com and follow on Twitter, Instagram, Amazine, Snapchat, Livejournal @salau01 In Nigeria’s 100-mile-an-hour music industry, it is often easy to forget how long some artistes have been around. Who can believe that 2Face Idibia is 40 already? From his days frolicking onstage at Star Mega Jam with Plantashun Boyz to lifting entire crowds off their feet while headlining Star Music Trek shows in Lagos and Makurdi, 2Face Idibia has come a long way. We’ve had the privilege of watching this unique talent for the last 18 years, and now on the occasion of his 40th birthday, STAR is bringing a bunch of his buddies together for an All-Star tribute concert tagged #Fortyfied. The concert will feature Star Music Trek performers DJ Jimmy Jatt, Burna Boy, Sound Sultan, Blackface, Seyi Shay, Wande Coal, DJ Neptune, Gbenga Adeyinka and Wizkid in addition to D’Banj, Patoranking, Dammy Krane, Timaya, Gloria Ibru, 9ice, DJ Spinall, Omawumi, DR Victor Olaiya, Vector and many others. Packaged by Hypertek Digital and Buckwyld Media, the concert holding on Sunday 20 September 2015 at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel, Lagos will be hosted by star comedian Basketmouth. It will be the chance to finally explore 2Face as an artiste and watch him perform many of his relatively obscure songs which you probably only heard on the Star Music App, in addition to his hefty catalogue of hit songs. Not to mention STAR’s renowned carnival atmoshphere. Now what could be better than an evening of 2Face and the best Nigerian music artistes along with Basketmouth and some Star Radler? |

| Science/Technology › Playstation 4 Is Getting A Price Cut In Japan by salau01(op): 11:06am On Sep 15, 2015 |
If you were holding off on a price drop before buying a PlayStation 4, I hope you're living in Japan. Sony just announced that its latest home console is getting a price cut to 35,000 yen (around $300) in the region, starting October 1st. You might be asking how this affects everyone else. Well, for starters this is a Sony sanctioned price cut and this is the first official one for the PS4. With the upcoming Paris Games Week (that Sony's pledged to be at in a big way) this could very well signal a price drop in Europe. And then we have the upcoming PlayStation Experience show in the United States later this year, which could see the asking price drop domestically too. We didn't get any new info on how the system is selling worldwide, but this coupled with the official name for Project Morpheus PlayStation VR is at least something from the otherwise lackluster pre-Tokyo Game Show keynote.
