Christianity Etc › Re: The False And Heretic Apocraphal Books Added To The Bible By Catholic Church. by SalC: 12:32pm On Nov 28, 2013
Ukuts gp: The apocrypha books also support the use of magic and other occultic practices which cannot be attributed to God.
Refrence please.
Christianity Etc › Re: The False And Heretic Apocraphal Books Added To The Bible By Catholic Church. by SalC: 12:30pm On Nov 28, 2013
Ukuts gp: None of the apocryphal writers laid claim to inspiration. Most of them confessed non-inspiration.

In the prologue of Ecclesiasticus, the writer states: '' you are intreated therefore to read with favour and attention and to pardon us if in any parts of what we have laboured to interprete, we may seem to fail in some of the phrases''
this above quote goes to show that the writer were nt inspired.
Was the above written by the writer or the translator?
Christianity Etc › Re: The False And Heretic Apocraphal Books Added To The Bible By Catholic Church. by SalC:
Let me start from the title of this thread and that of the link you provided,
the other thread said" the catholic church did not give us the bible" while your thread read thus " the false and heretic apocryphal books added by the roman catholic church"

Can you tell me how and when the catholic church added the apocrypha to the bible?
Give an instance of any bible that pre-dated the catholic bible without the apocrypha.

Christianity Etc › Re: How To Woo A Born Again "Spirit Filled" Christian Sister. by SalC: 10:44am On Nov 27, 2013
by wooing her... i believe u will also want to have sexx with her. cool. first of all i want to let u know that born again ladies are the sweetest to sleep with. the gratification knows no bound. u cant afford to miss this opportunity. the fact that they cover their whole body leaves ur imagination running wild and thinking... there must be a gold mine behind those unattractive cloths.

back to the topic

are u friends with her? i have to ask again because i really want to be sure... what u wrote up there is not clear enough. u have to be her friend. wooing a born again lady can only start with friendship.

remember she is emotionally stronger than her counterparts or so they think. but this is ur weapon. her strength is also her weakness. how can u achieve something with this? become week and a little bit needy. make her see u as a project. try to sound as sincere as possible and make her know u somehow depend on her for emotional strength. that way u are free to misbehave and ask for forgiveness... afterall she knows that u are weak.

then when u have gotten close enough... when u have her trust... u start working on her defenses. they must be bought down. how can u do this? her conscience. attack the conscience. make her understand that she can rationalize her actions (evil ones). let her know everybody has a secret. get into her head and u will find out that she also have weak moments too. get to know what these weaknesses are and develop them. let her know she can do it and god will forgive her. give her bible instances where strong men of god yeilded to their weakness.

speak words into her ears just as the pastors do. remember the pastor is ur enemy here. u must be in church to hear what he preached, then u can use these prechings to work against her conscience.

just let her know that she is only human and god understands more than her pastor.
i hope this helps. i wil be here for u if u need me.
OP i sincerely hope you won't take this advice.

Christianity Etc › Re: Are Churches Encouraging Abortion By Not Wedding Pregnant Brides? by SalC: 8:59am On Nov 27, 2013
GraceInUSA: Its not a matter of not wedding pregnant brides. In my church, before the wedding, the Pastors would call the couple and interview. I fthey find out that they've been fornicating, the regular wedding ceremony would be called off. Then they would be advised to go to the registry or do church blessing.
Its what God hates and when the church does this, it makes the youth know that God hates fornication and makes them to be careful and flee from youthful lust.
That is where my concern is, What then is the difference between wedding and church blessing if both still take place in the church?

Ubenedictus: It seems the pope has released an apostolic exhortation, has anyone read it? I hear it is a cracker. @pope and woky, am getting suspicious, is it healthy to look at the ladies 'from behind'?
Read a part of it. IMO it sure will go a long way to wake up the sleeper.

I look to the mountains; where will my help come from?
My help will come from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
He will not let you fail; your protector is always awake. Ps121V1-3.

May God Bless and protect us this day.
Good morning brethren.

Why tell him that? Isn't he thesame person who said God used people infallibly? Perhaps adsonstone is one of those still being used infallibly today, Except he's going to tell us when God stopped using people infallibly.

whats is Solemnity, Feast and Memorial all about?
it's anyone call to answer, I'll give my own answer after evening mass. Stay merry till den smiley
By solemnity or solemnities we mean celebration of events, beliefs and personages of greatest importance and universal significance in the history of salvation.

Feasts are of lesser signifance in salvation history when compared to solemnities but more significant than the memorials.

Memorials are rememrance of the least important in salvation history when compared to solemnities and feasts. Those memorials that are important only to a local country, church or religious commumity are called optional memorials.

Christianity Etc › Re: Defend Catholic Teachings Here by SalC: 1:37pm On Nov 26, 2013
truthislight: "God used men infellibly in writing the scriptures" has nothing to do with "pope infellibility".

Your problem is that you equates your political popes with christ apostles.
So when exactly did God stop using people infallibly?
