Temicare: No b only u ooo bros... Me n brain r also coming wit our storming testimony oo... indeed by God's grace we rely on...vICTORY IS never too late |
@Planetuzor...all this classificatn 4 just 1 person, haba! u're an exaggerator. anyhow my guess is either mr.usuf or rkarang |
by God's grace I will storm this thread wt my admission testimony into funaab 2ru d V.C/Supplementary/3rd list. ..but not by folding hands. |
although,it is so difficult 4 a camel to pass 2ru d eye of a needle but its possible only 2ru God by pressing buttons. i dnt know abt others but i'll storm funaab by surprise, not as supplementary but as a merited undergraduates. |
HURRAY! ASUU Strike is officially over. it was called-off 1hr ago. d best xmas gift 4 all undergraduates |
SalvationMopol: Permit Me to ReFocus our Minds |
rkarang: Trust me, I'm gonna choose FUNAAB in my first DE form. But I don't wanna rely on people cos they can fail. Plus; hoping that 'senate' still approves external diploma. So those external diploma offered admission even previous years are illegal? if so,y didnt funaab specify it in jamb brochure? |
Permit Me to ReFocus our Minds (this piece is 4 all) 4 sum days, alot of faith has being tied to getting a Bsc admission(which is d aim of dis thread) but when some yardstick are attach to it as a prerequisite to succeed, dat i dnt agree. getting a bsc is very good but it is not a ticket to success. REASONS; 1. there are enuf b.sc in d market under-employed(hand-to-mouth) 2. there are much more b.sc awaiting employment(unemployed) 3. there are so many b.sc holders who didnt or may not use der degree 4 employment(enterpreneurs) 4. there are b.sc holders in public services for more than 10yrs who barely achieved little. 5. there are b.sc holders who are retired & has so little to show off(lifestyle) also there are people who have degrees & are doing well. hence, alot of factors is involved because success is a journey & isnt measured by getting a degree nor affected by d discrimination btw b.sc & hnd holders. just think outside d box & b steps ahead of ur mates. if funaab admit u or not, success shud b ur target. Dan |
@Walex...ur info isnt clear. in simple language, what were d words of the registrar. pls make ur english be clear to avoid misinterpretation |
Temicare: lyk howsit down there dey wait. d train is moving... |
na pressing buttons sure pass |
brainiacjp: At ds jonction, i fink i owe d thread ds words....QUE SERA SERA.....let God do what seems good....HE already knows d end right from d beginning......truely,u have deceived us wt ur false source. like i said earlier,God wil outright reward u in ur coin,be it gud or EVIL. u'll surely reap d extra agony u made us pass 2ru,d excess hope we gave as a result of ur words shall be a thorn in ur flesh. i'm not cursing but its so bad of a person to toy with our emotions,as critical as admission is,u went ahead wt ur arbitrary statements. |
Sanguine:I refuse to stand up unless u apologize 4 making me knee 4 almost 10hours |
planetuzor: Danky go on his knees, bro, help me tell em. knee no dey enuf, may be she nu blacklist me sef wey get slim belle(i dnt drink) nxt time, she wil ask me to kiss the floor with my pink lips or do frog jump |
As many that are alive reading this should count themselves lucky to have witnessed a 'progressive date'. never again will there be a day like this and i hope the uniqueness of this date will affect your day significantly? |
Which TIME? There was a time when this thread was an offspring full of promises. A time when updates were not questioned with unbelief unlike now. A time when gladiators of this thread was full of optimism. A time when body language of all harmonize wt tone. A time when this thread was an umbrella, provided shelter for all as a family. A time when plans were hatched with pending outcome. A time when no member's account was deactivated. A time when choice of words almost rob the peace of this thread. A time when posts was per minute. There was a time, only a time when silence is Victory even when Cheated... ...A Time! Dankylove |
Sanguine: Did you just say you're on your knees? You'd better get on your stomach now and do not get up until I tell you otherwise!hmmn! taking advantage of d situation. stil waiting 4 d green light to get up |
Sanguine: Now is this supposed to send me on some kinda guilt trip or whatto every action, there is reaction. dear miss thread,i said that to get U commenting. its wasnt on purpose but i borrowed it to get ur attention. u shud av been used to my perception,i joke often. i'm sori if that was a thorn in ur flesh. I AM ON MY KNEES |
Habidab: Good talk,I have never for once think about going for governmental work after my educational career.Am thinking big(about self employment)...Destiny sha...Correct guy! |
Destiny(which is God's embedded program) plays a larger role than qualification. a person with Bsc may b preferred employ than a phd holder. dnt get me wrong,i'm not justifying any1 dat hnd is better but clearly defining that qualification doesnt shape one's future. There are degree holders in government work dat are bearly termed to have achieved. there are so many tins to discuss but my fingers aint encouraging. there was a time lagos initiated a program requiring graduates but phd holders applied like mad... dankylove [thread adviser] |
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO ALL!!! This piece of information clearly goes 4 all. Life goes beyond just the present.dont evaluate ur future with only ur present circumstance. my mum's friend who had 4 children, they are all graduates but only one is a hnd graduate. funny enough,at preliminary stage such hnd graduates feels inferior in our labour market. fortunately,God dnt judge or blesses anybody by having a degree rather if u are performing or u can perform(he cant give u sumtin beyond u) d same hnd graduates happens to be the crown of d family with almost twice the salary of a regular bsc.graduates. STATISTICALLY,alot of graduates are under-employed especialy with a degree. as a prospective graduates,it is advicable u avoid government work or if u are ready to acknowledge their bias nature btw degree & hnd holders. a hnd graduate shud be more concern abt his/her performance. Private & multinational firms is okay wt less bias nature compare to government but na leg. 4 1 b a achiever as a graduates,destiny.... |
Walexz02: na wa o! Sanguine et al have stopped commenting on the thread sef.... they just view and leaveabi o! when dey already admitted, feels less concern abt odas |
ahmmyreal: Its true. Op. Last two weeks I was given two free airtel sim for free with registration. I could have collected more if I want.if It is by target, why cant they register the sims with online pictures, false information, insert & remove such sims from their phone? |
Red_Card: Etisalat and Airtel are the worst culprits.how? do they crawl? soon, they will be going frm door-to-door even crying to register new sim for individuals |
brainiacjp: ...me three? |
Habidab: Bro,honestly you have tried enough, but I will like to tell you this;take it or leave it,My junior brother went to FUNAAB yesteday about his DE admission too.and had to demand for explanation why he was not admitted with good O'level and ND result but Admin officer had to sincerely told him they pick the names of admitted candidate at random this year due to the strike and that they do not go by your distinction or upper.if you noticed you will see that those admitted in first batch told us their result was not distinction and that they manage to have upper and a better O'level result.he was very angry the time he arrived home.but I had to tell him that's just the way of life.I disagree wt d response by dat admin.officer,it is a smart way to cover corruption.is admission now a draw or lottery where names/numbers are selected at random. hence,d system adopted was "bias probability" criminals, dey took advantage of d strike to admit students who offer bribe. |

If by this weekend & there is no update of our names on d 2nd list, then this thread has served it purpose.hence,i'll report 4 dis thread to be close. ...its so painful how disappointed most of us are. |
seunwen2: they have target to meet up withwhat sort of target wud make u sacrifice ur dignity as a person by kneeling. some gals even ask a guy for food |
Toktee: Bloody liar!u need to have seen d way different network providers marketers were begging @ d street of lagos whether na by force |
Nigeria is a very big market place where profits are made selling feaces,i wonder why sim marketers shud be kneeing for me to patronize them? |
