Yeah, it is all fun and games until the APLs are released. In my opinion, contrary to the generic belief that a lot of people are having fun on here, i sense desperation almost bordering on obsession. From trivial postulates discussed, it is quite evident that some persons may have their lives hanging on this job. Some persons have even expended the 'supposed' upfront even before the actual receipt of APLs, heck, some persons are even considering resigning from their current jobs without the APL yet in sight. Don't get me wrong, i am not against anyone's ability to day-dream or hold on to stern faith but i could advise a bit of moderation in such actions. Nothing in life is of certitude save for death and taxes. With the spate of suicides in the country amongst our youths for minor challenges they face i must say, i pray no one here toes that line if this recruitment does not produce a favorable outcome as expected.

To the reasonable contributors/readers on this thread, permit me to digress a bit. I can see that a comment i made here is rife and i've been referenced albeit rudely, so i think i should respond appropriately (It's a long weekend, i think i have some luxury of time).

Teaser4:
na so dem dey start, awon oloribu scammer...i dey wait make he quote me sef...dem dey get mind oh... Amen to that "thunder part....

[quote author=Teaser4 post=81077116]Y'all don't be surprised, e fit be one troll wey dey follow this thread, wey dey behind that twitter saga... Fyi that wasn't a female behind the handle na one jobless nigga dey run the account...never doubt that power of stupidity. That thing may be here now, viewing this thread.

Now, this cretin above was the calvary that came to save the day for his 'goon'. This dolt, like his buddy he came to save has contributed approximately 16 PAGES to this thread (starting from May 27). And guess what, like his buddy, the constituent of these comments has been pure/undiluted gibberish, ranging from incessant uncouth comments to needless greetings to disparate satirical images and to the mundane contributions (Big Brother Nigeria, Imminent EPL). This buffoon is not even intelligent enough to what comments are relevant to this thread.

Teaser4:
of all the places wey you fit search for NNPC recruitment shi, so the first place that came to your mind na twitter...shey twitter na search engine. Abeg no mention me again, at least dem don type your apl...dog wey never chop no dey play with one way don eat...Oga dey your dey...

The comment I made here was in reference to a twitter search on additional information as regards the recruitment. This retard has discredited the relevance of this social media tool. Pray tell, the public communication on the various stages of this recruitment has been through which platform? Eeeerm…….Twitter, Yes? It would be common sense for people to visit that platform to keep abreast with new information. But then again, I doubt if you ever had any.

Teaser4:
I met a girl in my dept,we are smh close, like we read together,i'm havn feelings for her.i'm nt shy to tell her,but i'm scared of smtn i dnt knw.pls help me,hope am nt rushn things.its true feelings

Teaser4:
No,i'm nt underage,i'm 22+ ,we started talkn, like 2weeks ago,i thinkn if i propose to her,may be she wont talk to me again.thats why i'm scared.pls dnt abuse me

Finally, I really do not believe in self-adulation as I find it narcissistic. However, I do feel it is necessary for you to understand this for posterity sake. While you were battling with your bloated testosterone and sexual conundrum in 2012 as quoted above, I had over 4 years of core work experience in my related field. You may do well to know who you reference when you come onto a ‘faceless forum’ and blither about, exuding your stupidity for all to see.

ChasteGhuy:

Bros, no fall my hand na. Why you dey stress yasev with that headless chicken?

Awon to sepeteri grin

This nitwit takes the bunch. He currently holds the record for the highest comments on this thread, more impressive is that he has contributed 22 PAGES of absolute bilge/nonsense within the shortest period of time (starting from June 28). To revel in your stupidity, kindly refer to my comment above to one of your cohorts.

I am made to believe you are a graduate of Agric Edu. This is stated because I understand that you made a reference to my comment and bolded the phrase ‘some lady’. Well, let me just clarify that expeditiously;
Dictionary definition of the word ‘some’ as a determiner: used to refer to someone or something that is unknown or unspecified.
For Example, "I was talking to some journalist the other day"

If you make bold someone’s comment, be sure to have some ‘cohones’ to provide counter-intuitive and constructive criticism.

In retrospect, I may blame the NNPC recruitment process for some of the occurrences on this thread. Perhaps if they recruited annually and adopted a rigorous process that is bespoke to various disciplines (contrary to generic methods), we would have had more relevant/relatable comments on this thread (as is expected of a job/career thread). People that are withholding credible information for fear of being bashed by the 2 referenced clods and their cohorts may have been more forthcoming.

N:B – I know there are some other persons who would feel slighted by this and would want to ‘come through’ for their hommies, before you do, just take a good look at what they represent and decide on which side of the divide you fit in.

One last thing, I would not dignify any of you with a response as regards this anymore.

Bros how far? How do you come by this?

bobowaja:
Scammers everywhere...... A member of nairaland is aware of this scam..... Especially the one that brought the news of the babe's testimony. His intentions is to find clients on this forum due to the anxiety in here among members concerning apl.

Na wa for this naija o shocked

bobowaja:
At last local men and women got something to discuss and this time.... The alertees and the non alertness happens to be on the same page. grin grin

That babe and her news carriers won't survive what is coming their way sha cheesy cheesy

You know, i opted to ignore your comments, but let me indulge you this once. I rarely do comment on social media fora generally, but the same cannot be said for you. I've observed that you have flooded this thread with infantile comments, as a matter of fact, a history at your profile
has shown that you have contributed approximately over 17 pages of balderdash on this thread within a short period of time(starting from June 26). It is understandable you are an overzealous graduate(no offense to the reasonable contributors on this thread) that may have a lot hanging on the thread of this job but you should be wise to know who you cast aspersions at. While you have the luxury of time to be clowning on this platform, i actually thought it wise to visit OTHER social media platforms for information as per this recruitment. I'd expect that as someone who has gotten to the this stage of the recruitment, you'd be intelligent enough to peruse a comment and draw inference before turning to the keyboard warrior that you are. Remember just because you have access to any platform doesn't mean you should display your ignorance at any given time. Silence is golden.

Be Guided Always!

PS: You may feel the need to quote me but i will not ennoble you with a response.

While Y'all are postulating on baseless theories and TF, Some lady is testifying on twitter that she has been notified via sms and mail. Check out @Miss_Gloriade. She did oral interview on the 10th.

Okay if that was how your interview day went.
I did on the 6th. And the sheet we used in filling our account details had the serial numbers on our tags given to us at the point of accreditation. We were asked to look for the number and write our details in front of it. Other 6th-ians can verify this.

I had to quote you. This cannot be verified, by me at least, i was interviewed on the 6th as an EH and we were just asked to put down our details on a list. There were 2 separate lists, one for GTs and the other for EHs. Perhaps some people inputted their details in the wrong list hence the discrepancy in payment. Hell, there could be numerous reasons why some have been paid and others are yet to. To think there is a correlation is ludicrous. That being said, this thread is becoming a joke as the days go by. For some reasons, some set of overzealous individuals feel they need to drop irrelevant/unrelated comments incessantly, little wonder the large number of pages. The comments are becoming so puerile that a 'Mod' had to be invited. There could be some people with valuable information but because of how derailed this thread had gotten, they may be hesitant to share, either for fear of being ridiculously questioned by these overzealous commenters or their postulates may be discredited. Credible/relatable information, is like looking for a needle in a haystack!

But then, this is a faceless forum and everyone has access to naiaraland, a device(to some multiple devices) and data. THAT cannot be moderated,

Sad stuff though.

You seem to skip the likelihood that both names may not fall in the same list. Other candidates having interviews may fill the list before the latter friend fills his. They are simply working with the lists.

Warm appreciation on your contribution to this thread. Would you by chance have any further information as to when APL would be sent? Someone said next week, some others are saying after Sallah or September perhaps?

1. No one else asides the GMD or possibly Buhari can give you exact date to expect APL. The both of them sit at the top of the management board. So everyone just calm down on that. GMD already told staff members to expect new employees soon (soon is relative). We all are basically hoping for the best.

2. List in that context refers to the ones filled at the exit.... with account details.... It has no bearing on the selection list sent forward for approval.

This recruitment is the fastest I've ever witnessed by any government corporation and they made sure we were updated on every stage save for the final shortlist. This last stage is kinda shrouded with a lot of secrecy which makes me wonder if this is favorable to the merits, or maybe not. I guess time will tell. A warm appreciation on the update though. Many cheers.

No, the DPR 2016 recruitment it's not over. Be patient towards end of the year..Don't give up at, don't make such fundamental errors by loosing hope..There's a 2nd batch and it is eminent. Ladan make sure he conclude his recruitment before leaving office.

Final meeting in respect to the recruitment was held before LADAN retired. It was in that meeting DPR decided total numbers of successful applicants to call towards end of the year and it was penciled down in their data base. Don't worry, Shakur cant substitute any names because it was unanimously decided by decision makers in DPR. Though he has the power to add 1 or 2 names but with the condition that the person must have undergone the 3 stages of the recruitment. Hence, Shakur was going about making promises to the bureaucratic apparatus in exchange to his confirmation as a substantial director. So keep hope alive. 2nd batch is sacrosanct.
.

I usually do not do this but you ma'am are a bleeping ba***rd. But what is more saddening is that there are still some likes/share on this comment even when it is glaring from DPR's social media platforms that the curtains has been drawn on this recruitment. I implore whoever had any thread of hope on this recruitment to move on, though painful, it gets easier as the time goes by. You will also do yourself a lot of good to ignore BS comments like the quoted one above. All the best in your future endeavors.

Yes I was asked to name 5 regulatory bodies to NNPC, and their interest in NNPC by Panel 6. I was also asked the 5 types of risk that could affect NNPC operations and their mitigants. I was asked to differentiate between Renewable and non Renewable Energy and give 5 examples, 5 advantages and 5 disadvantages each. 2 situational questions and 1 safety question. EH - Auditor

Yeah? And how did it go? Hope it went well? You've gotten alert I presume? I've gotten mine.

Nah Bro. 'Em guys didn't even know the role I applied for. One almost asked me the wrong question until another woman interfered and I then told 'em the role I applied for.
