Genevive is just an ssce holder but she brushed up herself. Upgraded her skills and intelect.. I don't know why everyone thinks it's only paper qualifications that matters. There are some industries where your paper qualifications mean nothing especially in areas like skill related work such as food making, singing , acting, fashion industry etc but in Nigeria its all about I have a masters degree. I'm a graduate I cannot work here. It's beneath my qualifications . There is even a professor that acts too. I can't even remember his name but he's the older generation of the nollywood artist . He hasn't reached the place where Genevive has reached. That's to show you that in certain industries expertise matters. Your book knowledge is of no use. nnamdibig: My dear U said it all. And to think that it's only few of the people u mentioned feeds with their certificate. I can't even remember the school Genevieve Nnaji attended..... That's if any? |

She's an adult let her live her dreams. Kola oyewo is a PhD holder and a nollywood actor both in the English and yoruba genre hafiz oyetoro/saka is a PhD holder and a comic nollywood actor in the English and yoruba genre.HHe's also a lecturer. I've forgotten the university he lectures antar laniyan is a masters degree holder and a nollywood actor in the English and yoruba genre. shola fosudo is a PhD holder and a nollywood actor in yoruba and English. He's also a lecturer in lasu, theatre arts department
Rita dominic a graduate of theatre arts tonto dike a graduate of petroleum engineering or something like that funke akindele is a law graduate of unilag. She's in both genres same with bimbo akintola who's a graduate of university of ibadan odunlade adekola has gone to school to earn a degree because he's English speaking is poor some others like madam saje etc are illiterates but have carved a niche for themselves.
Bottom line is irrespective of your degree whether a PhD holder or an illiterate acting accommodates every one as long as you have the talent and you're hardworking t |

Instead of you looking at the possibility of stds you're clowning komek: When I see men listen to the cock and bull stories these babes come to tell us I just shake my head. What is going to be the diff btw now and when u guys r married. Would marrying her automatically reduce the pains?
MOST gurls are just pretenders , they just want u to see them as a good gurl meanwhile they r something else. Sex is not everything u need a lady for, if she has some other qualities that u want in a lady, just ignore her story and marry her, like she has told u she will open it better by then and tell u that u were the one that made him start liking sex...choi Naija babes can scam us sha. But atimes one will discover that the place is wider than that of a woman who has given birth to more than 7 children and yet they claim its paining them. Na wa. |

Femsyn: Maybe I'm old school, but I'm still wondering what a N5m wedding looks like. Who knows, the guy or his mother might be celebrities. I'm almost certain tho, that most of the funds will go into hall/tent rentage + decoration.
@topic, the answers are right in your face. Make a pick. Remember, its your wedding, not the mother's. Your decision should be final! abi o.if she wants to do lavish party and show off there she should do her own birthday party. There she can spend 5milion if she wishes its your wedding not hers |

When the bills start rolling in you will go back and collect the money you used for aso ebi
nepa bills is there house rent water bills lawma bills fuel and maintenance of gen is there children's school fees is there money for school uniform and text book is there I can go on and on but if you use all the money you are supposed to use in the journey ahead of you for one day you will know the people you're trying to impress don't give a damn about you when you meet them for money. You better set your priorities straight
Speaking about children's school fees I'm aware that the lowest decent and conducive environment where you can put your child in that is just primary school starts from 150 k per term except you want to take them to school where they will be singing ede times ede remi koniya segun elere ball odabo odabo kayode and be disgracing you up and down with numerous gbagauns |

Gbam. That's all in addition if she wants her to become a financial burden on her after the wedding she should use a years money for just a day. When the children start coming e go become double wahala for dead body. Child rear in on its own is very expensive. Go and ask nursing mothers how much they spend on diapers for just a month Platnum1: Tell ur friend that a married nairalander advised thus; **** that ceremony is just a show.after the ceremony when the real marriage starts, she will barely remember d glamorous wedding cos marriage can overwhelm an ill prepared person. **** tell her to plan ahead, for her home cos after that ceremony, reality kicks in and God help them if all they ever planned towards was a day occasion.

Westendel: Even if I forgive, how do I get to like him again? I can't possibly look at him without the thought of his abominable act playing in my mind exactly my thought. Things will never be the same again and she will now be seeing him in a different light. Any small thing will arouse suspicion especially if it has to do with him and her sister. The relationship with her sister is damaged for life. She wouldn't even be able to trust her children with her much less her sister those days a woman can leave her kid sister and her husband and then travel. But now if you leave common house help alone in the house and travel for just one week. Na one chance you don enter be that

Like seriously which kain eye will she be looking at her sister. You know things can never be the same again even after the matter is settled .The sisterly bond is gone with the wind even though they pretend. One eye will be like cococandy: @westendel, sorry I responded late to your mention. Just pull yourself together.
Don't let anyone guilt you into taking back a guy who betrayed you like that. If you want to, you want to. If you don't, then fine. it is not your responsibility to make work a marriage that your partner has no regards for. In the end, make the decision that gives you peace and not the decision that leaves you with questions and bottled up resentment.
Your sister is 19 even though pretty young, she should know better. I don't even have words for your husband. If it was anyone else but your kid sister, it would be so much more different. This is one of those situations where you wish he did it with someone else and you'd readily forgive.
All the best. |

Calmness? How convenient. If he can sleep with the sister that means his little daughters to should be monitored closely with him olu4life: Just went thru all d posts. Most gave good advices but we shouldn't be sentimental. Fine, d sister is promiscious. What IF it was d sister that seduced d man Lets not conclude that d man had sex with her at age 14. OP said something about been the first love of the husband. Trying to view it the other way round.
Sincerely, divorce isnt yet an option till both parties reveal what went down. OP take heart. Its very ok to be angry at this moment and feel like getting a divorce but it isnt easy as u see it. Calmness is even far from u rite now, that I know but try to be patient and like sis babyosisi said, u have to sit ur sister down to hear her first before the family meeting. It is very very crucial. Also ensure u ae calm when talking to her. Be approchable during the talk and have listening ear.
