Post graduate students do not resume at the same time with under graduate and to a large extent also depends on the various depts

Online payment of fees Tues 07/03/17

WELCOME NOTE TO ALL NEW AND RETURNING STUDENTS, 2016/2017 SESSION
I, on behalf of the Council, Senate and Members of the University Management, welcome you to the rather late commencement of the 2016/2017 academic session. The successful completion of the 2015/2016 session was largely due to your cooperation and determination to complete that session in 2016 in spite of the crisis induced vacation and other industrial action that occurred early in the year 2016.
The 2016/2017 university calendar approved by the Senate of the University is to ensure that students arrive 18 February 2017 and that lectures commence immediately on Monday 20 February, 2017.
The University Management and I count that you will once again adopt the sense of responsibility to resume for lectures on the 20th of February 2017 having being on vacation since December 2016, and that you will adopt positive attitudes that will ensure that the semesters run hitch free till the Senate meets to consider final year results on the 23rd October 2017.
Operating a deliberately hitch free and smooth running calendar, which is uppermost among my priorities will ensure that the graduating students participate in the November 2017 Convocation Ceremonies and proceed for the National Youth's Service Corps or Housemanship or Internship or to the Law School, as appropriate.
In spite of the fact that the provision of Municipal services is a source of nation-wide crisis, the University of Ibadan is putting measures and structures in place to alleviate the challenges faced by the students in 2016 in a bid to ensure that you have sufficient resources and ample time to concentrate on your studies.
I admonish you all to use the facilities at your disposal : bedding, water, taps, electricity, reading rooms, class rooms, inverters with a high sense of responsibility because these facilities are owned by you and you should handle them as properties placed in your care or under your oversight in a community in which you are a stake holder. Lodging complaints to the appropriate authorities when facilities malfunction is the quickest way to get them repaired, replaced or restored.
We continue to operate an open and listening policy to ensure that the quality of your well-being and concentration on your studies are enhanced. A number of excellent performances and wins in competitions were recorded among you last session. These kept the University of Ibadan flag flying globally and I and the university management will continually encourage and support you in every way to attain much more excellence in the international community and in world scholarship .
I specifically welcome the freshmen to the first and best university and wish you all an intellectually robust and fulfilling 2016/2017 session .

Verbal - Comprehension
Numerical - Calculation stuffs, GMAT sort of.
Little abstract reasoning and current affairs( I wonder why they call it current affairs, it should be past affairs or History).

Using previous recruitment as a yardstick, PwC will shortlist on the 17th, SHL test invite will drop on 20th, we will be expected to complete the test on/before March 3rd.

For those still asking, the test is SHL based verbal and numerical.

2013, successful applicants went for training school 2015.

Last recruitment was 2013 but success mail started bouncing in 2015 due to technical issues. But 2016 recruitment will surely be error free as dragnet is incharge of the recruitment process. Unlike last recruitment that the recruitment process was entirely done by first bank HR.

It was workforce that handled the recruitment.

lol.... The recruitment thing sef is stress on its own... The only problem I have with PWC is this.. Why give an online aptitude test and den demand for a verification test for those DAT passed again... Why not make it just one time

Because they know that machinery could have written the online aptitude test for one, hence the "Verification".

I've read here where someone admitted that he did the online test for himself and a friend, while he was not invited for verification, this friend of his was but was not successful at the verification.

Don't be quick to make a decision without considering these:
What is the job take home pay.
Job security
Are you going to have more advantage after your Msc

Thats not the issue my friend.
Pdfs have higher security features. Simple.
If you're to travel to Calabar from Lagos, You can choose to walk, travel by road or travel by air. All 3 methods will take you there. Choose wisely.

In terms of security, PDF are getting more insecure if you don't know because of its apparent acceptability using embedded macros and JavaScript, especially when PDF files are downloaded over the internet.

I personally like PDF because of its rendering, it won't scatter your document more like WYSIWYG unlike doc.

This is very bad advice. The security implications of using a .doc or .docx file are too many. Pdf remains the standard for secure communication in the corporate world. Don't hand your details over to data thieves who can rob your personality with ctrl + c and ctrl + v.
