Hello everyone. Good day to y'all. Been a while since I've been on this thread last. Took a break from fx to fully focus on my final year exams. Thankfully first semester is over so back on the grind.
I was checking out the 5ers website today and saw their boot camp program. From what i understand, i pay $1 and pass through about 3 evaluation phases. Am i correct or is there something i am missing about this? Do you guys think it is worth it?

I can't buy anything from them. Never. They breached my account too. They spiked my trade and widen my SL and said I have broken the rule . I never even understand what I did wrong. I never get their time cos I have been busy. A website that still have lots of undeveloped pages. I am just observing then. I am following donsheddy bumper to bumper because he is doing well now. Let's wait until funding and cash out stages. Then we will know how reliable they are.

Hello guys. Just a heads up, these Nostro guys don't seem to be trustworthy. I was among the top 10 persons to get funded with them earlier this month, but they closed my account without me breaching their daily or max drawdown. Till now they did not open my account after opening a ticket, sending and receiving emails from them. I'll attach proof later.

1. This profit cap is not a rule, it is not listed anywhere: site or contract. But now that I know that I can't be paid more than $2K each month, dem go hear whee for my hand . I will now target $2,500 each month following all the consistency rules; that's 2.5% expected profit using 15% overall DD.
This then means I will reduce my expectations, my risk reward and/or risk-money management.

$2.5K each month with them is guaranteed until they eventually run away.

2. The $7K don enter voicemail, my account is now reset to default $100K to start a new trading cycle

I got a payout approval mail this morning, then checked my dash to find out that only $2000 was processed out of $9,350. Upon reaching out to support, they mentioned that there is a profit cap on every account, see attached.

The first time, I was denied $9K and now for the second time, I'm denied $7K ish.

Nope boss.. The same mffx 10k you assisted me with last year June... The account don too suffer for DD hand.. Once I'm up 2% overconfidence comes it and I go back into DD... Today marks the end of the first quarter of the year..
I promised my self this year i will be very decisive on my approach and if i dont see good results, i will switch to another approach....
I traded gu and i noticed ive been going back and forth with no clear path in sight and if i continue with this step i might spend the whole year just in phase 1....

While i was trading gu, I've also watched gold on the sidelines, ive always known that one day i will switch to fast moving pairs but i also know that i had to work on my discipline before making that move....

So I think I'm ready to take up last challenge of trading gold, in the next 3 months I'll be trading gold and GBP USD together.

So the past 3 weeks I've been trading gold and I made good progress better than I did with GBP USD....

2 weeks ago I opened an account with ftmo 200k account, and I noticed I made good profit about 2% on the account while risking 0.5% per each circle of trade, meaning that the trade I take in gold and GBpUSD combined is 0.5%

So going to the new week that's what I'll be working on this...
Since I'm still experimenting I will stop trading my 200k account and other accounts and focus on my 15k account and 25k account by the grace of God I'm still expecting other accounts...

So far I have 2.5% in my 15k account and 1.5% am I 25k account

The strategy a simple on the 15k account I'll be using 0.07 lots on gold and 0.12 lots on GBP USD and also risk to reward will be 1:1

And I will have 50 pips stop loss on gold and 30 pips stop loss on GBP USD

My profit target each day will be $45 meaning if I have a trade on GBPUSD and gold at the same time once my profit shows $45 I'm closing all trades

Meanwhile take profit will be set at 30 pips for GBP USD and 50 pips for gold

Which means if gold take profits hits first I'll be having $35 that means I need just 10 more pips on GBPUSD to get my daily target and I close the trade same applies to gold if GBP hits first I'll be needing 20 pips on gold to hit my target so that's how I intend to work through this let's see how it goes....

In situations where one hits stop loss first alert the second to run to take profit in order to cover for the initial loss but if both trade he stop loss in a day I close for the day and continue trading in next day....

This means both trade has a risk of $71 if both hits stop loss but in situation whereby one hit stop loss and the other is take off it I'll be closing at break even

In other words I'll be risking 0.47% on 15k account and and 0.3% on 25k account with intention of getting at least 2% per month thank you

Since the last $4 loss on my $20 account, I haven't seen any low risk high reward trade. So no trade, Alternatively I was trading some high risk to reward trade trade on my 10k account because I was up 2%...Lost almost All the gains because of me trading not so quality setup and out forcing some trades.

This happened on the Situp challenge we had when I was up 4% only for me to loose all to all this high risk to reward trade.

My risk appetite is 1% per trade, yet anytime I'm up with some % I forget that and risk more than my risk appetite leading me to close loss early even when my analysis was right.

Staying away during bad market conditions could have saved me

This is me journaling my errs and flaws so that I can work on them and also to remind other struggling traders to introspect, maybe the market isn't the problem all these while but you and me..

You need to get to a stage when you know everyday is not a favorable trading day or everyday will never be a favorable trading day.

Then secondly, you need to be cool with not trading for a day(s), even if you're a Scalper or Day-trader. But if you still struggle to accept this simple reality, I think you're not fully ready yet.

Patience is really underestimated in this business.

That correlation stuff is hindsight bias heavy

You never see it until it happens and most times market will range and frustrate ya life

Maybe we need to change our approach and focus on what market will do near or slightly below the previous day's low

They say mkt ranges over 70% of time, so doesn't it mean that the right play 70% of time will be to buy at previous day's low or at the nearest zone therein?

Look at tdae chart on eurusd and usdchf that are supposedly negatively correlated.
