Guy, calm down oh. ''Pharmacist tried'' ''pass there pharmacology''. Let me remind you that in all those departments there is the option of carry-over, but in most Pharmacy schools, that option does not exist. So u either pass a course or you repeat the whole year. And by a course, I mean any course at all, even a seemingly small practical course with 1 credit unit can make someone repeat a year.
So don't just sit down and say ''Pharmacist tried''.

And note, I am not saying Pharmacy is the most difficult course, because all have their '''problems'' but don't downgrade one because of another.

The courses I can't say which is more difficult is Pharmacy, medicine, vet. Medicine and Dentistry.

Sir,bch is hard they say...but ask those who studied these course and had problem in it,they will tell u chemistry and other physical aspect of it made it hard...I seem not take side wit u on ur assumption that enzymology is d simplest bch course broda..check any aspect of bch and u find out dat this presumed simplest topic of urs makes the bulk of hard pathways u claimed lipid nd other molecules metabolism hav ..even in most exams,d knowledge of stepwise end products are not much tested like they do to the enzymes catalysing those steps...my opinion is biochemistry won't hav its tough characteristics without enzymology...

Of the 5 to 6 depts in Pharmacy, pharm students do complain of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and not Pharmacology as med student do.

check my posts very well,where did i say pharmacy is hard. So u think as i fresher,i don't knw somethings.Apparently i left my former course as a 300lv 4 pharmacy.So don't always assume i don't knw somethings abt dat an undergrad.

am sorry but, u are about to start your pre-pharmacy school where u will be required to pass all your courses to proceed to Pharmacy school and when u get there, u will start offering an average of 11 courses per semester with at least 2 having a pass mark of 60% while others 50%.

Many chicks on campus hav left their boyfriends who r in college of health sciences claiming they don't hav other lives except reading,being busy almost all the time, for law guys that always pose in nicely ironed black and white outfits ready to saunter attention on them...u seriously wouldn't blame these guys cos they hav to cover voluminous and hard techniques that r contained in books,otherwise they will end up becoming killers... had u seen any medical textbook before u wouldn't hav had this position of urs for real...B.O.B

Am amazed op put engineering ahead of medicine. Nobody does dat. D most respected and d hardest field globally is medicine n surgery. Dere must b a reason admission into med skul is so hard. Electronics in my school is hell, in other schools i know of it is much easier.

author=GetUmad post=27595321]Its relative. Its determined by the individuals and the institution. Some courses in some Schools could be a direct walk-over while same course in another institution would be a rocket science. Some Departmental Lecturers in some institutions are just devil-incarnate.

But, generally speaking, if PHYSICS (with its affiliated courses) isn't part of your list then you need to consult your dictionary for the definition of "hard". Damn! That course is so "broadly abstract" and its the bedrock of many other courses a la professions. I hail those who get power to study am.

i do not agree that physcis is broadly abstract, only some aspect of it like telecommunication where you get to assume how electromagnectic waves travel in free space and in vacum.

Lemme tell you this. Which is more abstract....first law of motion or le chateliers principle in chemistry.
In other words chemistry related course i believe is more abstract than physics related course..

All I am telling you is that there is a reason why medical students spend more than 6 yrs in school while someone studying anthropology spends only 4yrs amid partying and the likes!

The pharmacy students in my school usually spend almost 12hrs in school everyday!

You know medicine has specialties. Don't you think it will be wrong to say Medicine is marketable without mentioning the specialty(ies) which is(are) marketable because, hardly will you be a consultant in more than one specialty.
