i want to give this advice only to the serious investors. did anyone remember what triggered the last bullish run on the floor of the nigerian stock exchange?yes no hummmm don't think far,it was the result of GTBANK,in which twin benefits were given to their shareholders. another round of bullish session is also imminent going by the result declared by FIRST BANK i mean #1.35 per as dividend coupled with 1 for 6 bonus. its another period to make money again as this had already manifested in today's trading. till will see again HAPPY INVESTORS HAPPY PROFITS |
lets hear ur views on this matter |
i said it and it finally came to past. what i said about university press, though the bonus declared was 1 for 5 not 1for 4 as i quoted in the write up withstanding still watch out for academy press and the quarterly results |
Obviously the market has formed trend and pattern that is, making quantum leap and insignificantly downward movement. By extension testing new different highs and subsequently slowdown on its oasis. Printing press stocks-the silent wealth creation Obviously the market has formed trend and pattern that is, making quantum leap and insignificantly downward movement. If you closely observe what is going on in different sectors, you would quite agree with me, printing press stocks have virtually recovered from If you closely observe what is going on in different sectors, you would quite agree with me, printing press stocks have virtually recovered from the stock meltdown, so to say. Let us examine briefly the stocks under this sector: Longman is currently selling at pre-meltdown price factoring the 2 for 1 bonus declared to the core investor recently. University press at current price is heading towards the pre-meltdown price, albeit there is also a rumour of 1 for 4 and 30 kobo dividend. This might move the price upward, provided it turns out to be true. Academy press rewarded there shareholders well last financial year, a 2 for 1 bonus and a dividend of 6 kobo. This is a fantastic reward, compare to what is obtainable in other sectors on the floor of Nigerian stock exchange. Although dailytime is moribund, the probability that the company will bounce back to operation is very high, because there are indications that a new core investor has bought over the company. With the oncoming of new investor, the company will return to profitability definitely, and the stock might be “miracle stock” so to say in not too distant future. Facts about the sector 1, low shares in outstanding, this is the sector that can give out bonus conveniently without creating any instability in there prices on the floor. 2, institutional investors, the institutional investors are holding substantial stakes in these companies as a result the possibility of price stability is assured. 3, Sizeable loan profiles, these companies debt profile is manageable, however the good percentage of there profit will come to investors as reward, unlike the reverse when the profit will be used to service debt. 4, contracts from government, state governments across the countries have started distributed educational materials to secondary and primary schools, these materials almost come in form of textbooks, notebooks and other allied educational materials produce by these companies. it is obvious government will patronize big companies especially the public quoted companies. 5,commendable earnings per shares, they have been maintaining stable and better earnings per shares in the time past even at the current financial year, forinstance Longman has full year earning of 87 kobo while university press has 70 kobo for third quarter 2009. |
stock folks, i am here once again to render my advisory as far as equity investment is concern.it has been a win-win game now for couple of weeks back on the floor of Nigeria stock exchange compare to what we used to have prior to the arrival of the bull.Having critically examined the market situation,i discovered the need to consider the stocks from insurance sector can not be overemphasis.i intentionally want to reveal this, that you and i can make good profit from the current bullish market. 1.Good and attractive prices;if you are a good observer you will notice that some insurance stocks had already made 100% appreciation, yet still looking attractive.i mean some have doubled the prices they sell before the arrival of the bull around April. 2.Good earnings:some might criticize me on this because there earnings are still in the range of 3-12 kobo, fine but let us do simple arithmetic here. forexample Mr A has #10,000 to invest likewise Mr B. A buys access bank at #10 which translate to 1000 units B buys international energy @1 which translate to 10,000 if access declare 70 kobo and international energy declares 12kobo, B goes home with dividend of #1,200 while A goes home with just #700 divided.international energy insurance is better yet people will seem not to look the way of IEI insurance. 3,Growing sector:it is obvious that there is still a very big market for insurance business in Nigeria,as in they have not started at all. 4.Sentiment;if i may predict the sector sentiment will favour most this year,i would say insurance stocks because all there prices are at lowest ebb. 5,Favourable government policies;it is mandated for any companies to insure it staffers, insuring public building is also mandatory. i don't really have the time to forge ahead but i promised to continue some other day yemyem28@yahoo.com |
hi folks, i want to commend each and every one us for the steadfastness and tenacity we demonstrated during the stock market meltdown in Nigeria, also congratulate us on the arrival of the bull at the market again. Obviously, the market is on a threshold of another round of quantum leap, though we may experience some declines which probably may have little or no impact on the market capitalisation, compare to where we are coming from. i will strongly advise every trader that wants to make money,to please buy into fundamentals of companies, the era of speculative trading is gone, and i pray we shall converge on December to celebrate our profits.amen |

for the investors in the Nigeria economy terrain, a major boost is in the offing following the signing of memorandum of understanding between Nigeria and Dubai which amount to the sum of $16 billion. The wise investors should sight the return of the bull, because it has been proven that any foreign direct investment coming into the economy - stock market gulps at least 30%($4.8 billion).my folks in the capital market,i strongly believe the market will surely respond to this good news. the Nigeria stock exchange was elevated to the 11th position in the ranking of the world stock exchange and so many other good news to bolster investors confidence. without prejudice 2009 is going to be the year of partial reign of the bull, come 2010 the bull will reign fully. |
