Gooday all.
I am hoping to start my visa application very soon (expecting my CAS) but in preparation, I want to ask:
I have dependents that will be applying with me. However I want to know especially from those who applied with dependents, Can all the dependents use the same email address to register and apply for visa with ukvi, or does each of the applicants have to have a separate email address to register?

The transit visa is for only 1stop in the schengen area. While the shortstay visa is for more than 1 stop. Please confirm that your flight is just one stop before you go ahead.

Applied on the France website. Made payment for appointment - about 20k per person

Went for biometrics and paid for the visa - about 40k per person

Visa / Passport was returned in 3 days.

Documents needed.
France Visa application.
VFS appointment confirmation.
Passport.
Passport photographs with white background
Bank statement for 1month.
Make copies before you go or inside the venue....those outside are pricey.

Left Nigeria - 9th Sept via KLM

Had a lot of N200 notes and wet almost all grounds at the airport.......easy passage.

Questions asked at UK Border police (BP)

BP - What are you here for

Me - To study

BP - oh, what course

Me - Blanked for a few secs and then said my course.

BP - (Looks at spouse) and you

Spouse - I am just accompanying her.

BP - oh, you are not here to study

Spouse - No. Just her.

BP - Do you have something from the school to show this?

Me - Hand her my CAS

BP - No thats from us, I mean something from the school.

Me - Hand her my admission letter

BP - Scrutinizes it with an expressionless face. Takes our bio. Stamps something. Looks up and says....Welcome to England.

Me - Thank you.

God is ever faithful.

From my understanding, the school is asking you to confirm if your visa application with ukvi has been successful or you are still awaiting decision.

I want to know how easy it is to use Nigerian Bank issued Naira and Domiciliary cards. Are there limits on usage and withdraw in the UK for each cards?

How did you do manual booking?

Just go to IOM Abuja, meet the security at the entry and beg them by giving him your reasons for urgent TB test.
(In my case, I arrived around 2:30 pm because I traveled down and wasted over an hour at the bank to make payment though it wasn't accepted).
Endeavour to go with the copy of your online booking and payment evidence to.
Once he lets you in, you will also have to meet with those inside (receptionist) to direct you to the appropriate person who may consider your case and probably book you for the next day.
If you are successful, ensure you arrive the centre as early as 5am the next day so that you can be amoung the first 10. With this, you should be through with your test and get your result in your hand latest by 12pm.

I was able to do the TB test at IOM Abuja in Tuesday afternoon traveling to Abuja and doing manual booking on Monday afternoon.
As for payment, we went to the bank to make payment in Abuja (Standard Chartered) but we were told IOM no longer take bank deposits.
We finally did online transfer, paid for individual family members separately by including each person's reference number in the remarks part of the transaction. (Use internet banking or mobile app for this as you may not be able to do it using mobile code transfer)
After successful payment for each family members, just print out your receipt and take to the test centre on the day of the test.

Hmmm. Thanks for this. I'll call the school rep to confirm this. I got stuck at the proof of funds part since it isn't ready yet.
When I get the update from the rep I'll know wether to proceed or wait.

I got my CAS July 21st after the school confirmed my deposit. I only started my POF on the 31st of July.

Yes it is a part of documents required to upload on CAS Shield but the issuing of your CAS is not dependent on it. They only advise that you submit the statement prior to applying for visa to ensure it meets the requirements.

I am talking based on my experience.

good morning all. Please concerning IOM booking, to make payment online or using mobile transfer, how do I include the reference number?
if I am paying also for dependents will the payment be separate for each dependent or it can be done as one?
i just booked online but not sure how to proceed. no standard chartered bank in my area.

Based on the current CBN policy, u can't pay house rent using from A. Only school fees, air ticket, Business travel allowance (BTA) and personal travel allowance (PTA) are allowed.
Note. You must have genuine verifiable proofs to claim any of the above.
Accommodation is not on the list

You'll have to change the address to Aston University. This comes at a cost though.
Not sure exactly how much but around 8k5.
Check your IOM booking portal. I think I saw something relating to that there.

Hello house, please on my tb certificate the UK address and phone number I put was that of Middlesex uni but unfortunately my credibility interview wasn’t successful so I’m opting for Aston uni instead, should change the address on my Tb certificate to that of Aston uni or I can use it like that?

Book the closest date you see online, then go early, tell them you are there for enquiry, then you will plead with the receptionist inside that your school is resuming soon and you will appreciate a closer date for your test. That was how I did mine, and I’ve done it already

If you want a quicker date, you can go for manual booking. with that, you will be scheduled for the test appointment within 3-5 days. Speaking for IOM Abuja. that's exactly what I did.

Keep trying. Maybe your network is bad or try using another browser or system. 55% is the cut off point. Has your buddy confirmed? If no then you can't download till then.

You can submit the final exam as soon as you are through. Don't forget the official closing date for the first exam is tomorrow and already some people have started the 2nd.
Just use Google Chrome browser,
select the files you need to upload,
Just click on upload and you will see the status bar indicating the files being uploaded,
Fill the note for your buddy,
Click submit.
You'll get notified of the success as well as a copy of the mail sent to your buddy.
Your buddy will confirm from his mailbox to complete it all.

i just got a mail from EDC and BOI with details of tge programme. i have filled the survey and will be signing the charter of commitment. wishing all of us that have gotten to this stage the best.

Note: it is not a grant like "youwin". this is a 9% loan with an initial 1% mangement fee. your eductional certificate or nysc certificate would be used as collateral.

click on th transaction that had issue,
Select something like reclaim (can't remember the exact word)
Follow the rest simple steps and upload your docs.

Your problem is similar to mine. I made payments for items from 5 different sellers last week and 3 were closed while 2 were successful.
A day after 2 out of the 3 unsuccessful transactions was refunded to my account while I am still waiting for the last one hopefully by Monday.
From my understanding from a chat with their customer care unit, the funds never got to aliexpress. Its between your bank and card company eg visacard or mastercard.
Give them some days (weekend not included) and a refund will be made. If not or if too anxious you can visit your bank, explain to them and ask them to give you dispute form to fill.
The documents you submitted to aliexpress is for them to verify you are truly the owner of the card you used for the transaction and to prevent future repeat.
It may take a little time but your money can never get lost.
I hope this helps.
