Provisional just arrived within a week of posting the form back and I have been trying to get test date but no available slots months away.

Is there something that can be done to make this detergent foam. Sometimes is like the washing machine does not wash the clothes clean because the detergent does not foam.

Detergent here in uk can be very annoying, expensive and also a waste of money.
I had the same experience when we got here, I had to convince my wife that we should stop buying detergent and use dish washing liquid instead. It works perfectly well, cleans clothes with nice fragrance, cheaper and last longer than detergent.
There is a particular one she prefers which is "fairy" (I believe I got the name right) because it foams better.
Give it a try and let's know your thoughts.

You are welcome. I've been using Monese since I got here Dec for salaries and purchases with no issues at all.
If you need physical bank account too, you can try Barclays.
There is a way to verify your address even if you don't have proof of address yet. You can choose the option of receiving a code by postal mail to your house address which you will then use to activate the app and account.
The code should arrive your address within few days of request. Good luck

It wasn't an easy wait o. If you have money, pls pay for priority because High BP is real o. We endured a lot during the 3 weeks wait.
This journey started early 2020 and I have been reading this thread everyday religiously.
I must thank everyone on this forum for all the helpful contributions. I gained a lot.
My advice is for everyone to try and read far and wide, use Google a lot and ukvi sit (gov.uk) has almost all the information you require as well as your school website and course page. Don't also shy away from asking when you hit a brick wall too.

You can do everything all by yourself and it is far better because you are sure of what you submitted.

Another piece of advice: if you come across any information you feel might be relevant to you during the process of application, screenshot and keep it in your picture gallery. It is better that way because sometimes this information may be difficult to search for when you need them most.

While doing this, I was told to add Visa expiry date for my hubby (please see image below) on the IHS Summary Page. His Visa has not been issued yet. Please advise how to proceed with

Employment letter.
If you have HR that can write a reference letter for you confirming you are a staff will also be an added advantage

In my CV, I stated that I am working in a family business of ours, can I just use the family business letter head and draw out an employment/reference letter?

You can submit your business account statement showing details of transactions.
You can get a reference letter from people who you deal in their products assuming you are a retailer that you are one of their distributors (someone did this about a month ago and got his visa).
You can also submit any CAC registration application doc or payment you've made to CAC and add an explanatory note because they may not understand what CAC stands for.
Just think outside the box and add any other document that can proof you've been self employed.

Your friend should go ahead and submit the proofs she has. If possible and if he/she can get reference letter from HR confirming that He/she is an employee and is still an employee till date it may also be an added advantage.
It has nothing to do with how much the earning is.

Proof of employment has become a very common request in recent days.

Hi @EBUNME My wife was asked to submit proof of employment too. We got the mail last week Monday and we've replied since Thursday with her employment letter and reference letter from her office HR confirming she is their staff but we haven't got a response since then.

URGENT HELP PLEASE
Good day all. I just submitted my student visa application yesterday online (self upload). IHS and Visa fees have been paid and confirmation emails received, documents have been uploaded on TLS site but the issue is that I haven't received any Appointment confirmation email. My concern now is that i need the appointment confirmation email before I go for biometrics.
How can I resolve this issue? I can't find TLS contact number and I sent messages on their site and got only auto responses.
Can I go to my TLS profile, screen print the appointment date there and present it on the day of biometrics?
I've been so tensed and I urgently need to know what to do. Thanks
