PREPARATION FOR 2021/2 CBT EXAM What is e-exam? In a nutshell, e-exam (or CBT) is a type of exam that you do with using a computer. The computer mouse replaces your physical writing material i.e biro. Your exam score will be displayed on screen immediately after you logout. GSTs are CBT! Furthermore, students who used e-exam draft timetable (released earlier) to extract their courses should confirm the new date and time on the final e-exam timetable to avoid confusion and missing any of their exams. As an e-examiner, you would be writing your exam probably at your study centre specified computer room whereby every student would be assigned an intranet enabled desktop computer. I hope you find e-exam as an opportunity to build solid and rewarding academic foundation for yourself before you reach POP level in year 3. 2021_2 SEMESTER TUTOR-MARKED ASSIGNMENT (TMAs) This is to bring to your notice that Management has observed the following on TMA2 and TMA3. DEA observed that TMAs 2 and 3 are not being attempted by students. Lack of TMA score as a component of final grade for each examined registered courses tantamounts to incomplete result (IR) which is a failure. Students are advised to attempt their TMAs immediately to allow for enough time space to process the results without congestion on the TMA Portal. ATTENTION; PROJECT AND NON- EXAMINABLE UPDATE The university has discovered that a large number of Students could not be cleared for graduation because they dont have project or a non-examinable course result. In this view a Mop- up Project Moderation and Defence Exercise is being scheduled to hold in December 2021 so as to harvest and clear more students for graduation. 2. Students who have completed their project are here informed that the Project Administration System (PAS) is open for upload of Project and non-examinable courses (UG & PG) 3. Spiral band copy of Completed Projects are to be submitted along with it soft copy in a CD. 4.PG students should note that their project work must pass the plagiarism test before final submission and such are expected to submit early in order to subject it for plagiarism check. 5. DISCUSSION ON IMPORTANT MATTERS Firstly, I want everyone to take a closer look at the screenshot shown above. The statement ''TMA for this course not yet ready!'' simply means the TMA 1 questions and answers for this particular course has not been uploaded so there is nothing you can do about it than to skip it. Secondly, PAS portal https://mylearningspace.nouedu2.net/user/login is now open for uploading of project, seminar, field course, and TP. The closing date is November 30th, 2021. Thirdly, uploading of business plan has been extended to 23rd November, 2021. Fourthly, TMA 1 ends on Sunday, 14th November, 2021 by 11:59 pm.
