WUSE 2 VS MINNA: SEMINAR PRESENTATION & GST302

We hereby inform you that BUS887 and MBA888 seminar presentation will hold on Monday 18th October, 2021 at the centre exam hall by 8:00am.


All presentations are to be made on PowerPoint compulsorily. You are also advised to submit your PowerPoint presentation by Friday 25th October unfailingly.


Similarly, students of Minna Study Centre who registered GST302 (Business Creation and Growth) are to note that uploading of enterprise idea is ongoing and presentation is on 26/10/21 at the study centre.


All concerned students are to ensure that they prepare adequately for the presentation exercise and upload their business plan online either in docx or PDF according to the "upload guide" given to them.


Finally, graduation list will be out any moment from now so stay tuned. Registration of courses and exam ends on Sunday 17th of October by 11:59pm.

We are happy to announce to members of this great platform that registration deadline for 2021/2 has been extended till Sunday, 17th October, 2021.


It is worth mentioning that this is the second time registration of courses and exams will be extended this semester as a result of sluggish portal.


We hope that this news meets your expectation as many students who have not started or trying to finish up their registration were already feeling frustrated.


Let's keep our fingers crossed as we expect rectification of error on the portal by the technical team.

GST302: BUSINESS PLAN CREATION & UPLOADING

Of all the GST courses offered in NOUN, GST302 is the only course that does not have TMA. Instead of submitting TMA like other courses, you will compose a business plan based on SDG (Focused Goal).


After creating your business plan, the next step is to upload it on https://elearn.nouedu2.net/login/index.php popularly known as GST portal in PDF/docs.


The third step is to prepare yourself for presentation. There are TWO ways to defend your business plan:

1️⃣ Physical presentation (face-2-face at the study centre

2️⃣ Virtual presentation (via Zoom or WhatsApp)


After successful presentation you must write exam. Listen carefully o! All GST courses in NOUN are taken as e-exam (not POP). So you will be patient and write e-exam in first week of December.


Before you write e-exam you will proceed to the website above to check your presentation grade (score).

INFORMATION ON HAPPENINGS AROUND NOUN

Firstly, POP exam timetable draft version is out so endeavour to extract your courses to know the dates and time you would be writing exams. We are expecting "additional timetable" which will contain the courses omitted in the final draft timetable.


Secondly, this is to warn students that were invited to face panel over exam malpractice but refuse to show up before the panel on the specified day that they would be punished severely.


Thirdly, students who have not seen their seminar, IT, Field Trip and TP results should check portal as more results are out. Similarly, result for last semester TMA 3 which came out as 0/10 due to glitches has been restored - recheck your TMA 3 for last semester and exam scores.


Finally, uploading of business plan on GST portal has commenced.: You may now upload your enterprise idea once it is ready. Don't rush because there is still enough time to write and submit your business plan.

The school management had a change of amount from the previous transcript fee for both local and international, BEFORE Approved transcript processing fee for local destinations is ₦10,000, while international destinations is ₦25,000.

NOW Local destinations ₦15,000 while International destinations is ₦30,000

GST302: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW


GST302 is the only GST course without TMA because you are required to write, upload, and present your business plan. After that, you would write e-exam at your study centre using computer.


GST302 Student Guide and Sensitization took place between 7th-20th Sept. in other to enlighten and train students on what enterprise idea entails.


However, there is still more activities to be done; uploading of business plan runs from 11th Oct. - 8th Nov.

Presentation of business plan will run from 25th Oct. - 30th Nov.

KADUNA: COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM CLEARANCE


This is to inform Kaduna Study Centre students that the 2021_2 examination clearance has commence for all students and last till end of the month of October 2021.


Students are advised to come to the Study centre for their clearance Forms Along with the following Documents:

1. Current E-wallet ( which must not show or display a negative balance)

2. Exams reg slip

3. Students ID Card from your portal

3. Passport Photograph


Warning: No student will be attended to once the period for the clearance has elapsed and during the examinations period.


Note: We must all observe NCDC guidelines to avoid contracting COVID - 19, any student without a mask will not be attended to.

Furthermore, endeavour to check the portal, nouonline.net for your project result as project result has been released. Don't forget to sign-up on the portal so as to gain access.


Finally, all undergraduates in the faculty of Education that registered SED305 this semester are to follow the instructions as contained in the document above in docx.
