FamilyRe: How Nigerian Woman ‘faked Birth Story, Smuggled Baby’ Into UK by sammiewrite(m): 9:56am On Jul 15, 2025
Her jail go too long, if for nothing other than the resources spent and stress she put the UK authorities through.

The white man unlike the african man works with evidence and proves. Before they approach you for something they think you may have done, you better believe they have something solid to hook you with. Rather than simply owing up and hoping for reduced punishment when confronted, her illusory "oversmart" tendencies prevailed over common sense.
SportsRe: Man Utd In Contact For £100m Striker Nicolas Jackson As Shock ‘Enquiry’ Made by sammiewrite(m): 1:50pm On Jul 14, 2025
Maybe time to switch club or get a new hobby. Can't understand why United just enjoy self sabotage. When it was clear the midfield needed a rejig, they went to bring in Alex Telles, Maguire, Bisaka and the likes. When we needed a striker, they spent several seasons chasing overhype Sancho and eventually bought him at a ridiculous price. Also paid insane amount for Casemiro and Antony. Till now, I'm still trying to make sense of Eriksen, Malacia, Mount, Zirksee and Evans transfers. Like someone said up there, someone is definitely benefitting from these useless transfers.
PoliticsRe: Ohaneze: Igbos Deserve To Hold Political Offices In Lagos by sammiewrite(m): 11:49am On Jul 13, 2025
Tychost:
If you live among these things, you will know how much the entitlement attitude is deeply entrenched into their mindset. They will cry victim from dawn to dusk, but they are always the provocateur. That flag will never fly anywhere in Yoruba land.
Like, I don't understand. They don't rate others at all, and I think it stems from how they see everyone else either as a rival, enemy, or their subject. They have never seen other Nigerians as fellow country men otherwise they won't feel they have monopoly to something they would condemn others for.
PoliticsRe: Ohaneze: Igbos Deserve To Hold Political Offices In Lagos by sammiewrite(m): 11:43am On Jul 13, 2025
Irony1:
Oga since we have started this conversation, you are the one calling Lagos No man's land. For the past 6months it is still you guys calling Lagos No man's land. The reality is that the No man's land statement came from Lateef Jakande in his speech as Lagos governor in 1979.

Again no igbo man will say they will chase traditional rulers under the bridge when they take over Lagos. Anyone who said it on twitter if you do a proper investigation it is a Yoruba man using a fake profile with an igbo name to cause hatred. At least you people started confessing when the policies of Tinubu's regime started hitting you all.
You surely must have mistaken me for one of those Yoruba Buts and GenZs that you conquered with propaganda and gaslighting, hence your "hatred" tag. However, if you had been a little more observant, you will know that you're responding to someone who knows the Igbo man very well because as you can see, you did everything I predicted in my previous reply, including sneaking Tinubu in!

Now, to you mentioning conversation.
Sorry to disappoint you, but I didn't quote you because I wanted to have a conversation with you. I quoted you because I was trying to understand the colour of your delusion while projecting your hypocrisy for the whole world to see.

Like, you're funny ooo. You mean I should be conversing with someone so classless as to resort to shameless and bold faced lies as seen in the first and second paragraph of this reply that I'm quoting, just because they want to use deception to achieve their long time takeover agenda? Imagine saying "no igbo man..." I mean, there are millions of Igbo men in Nigeria. How many of them do you have control over their actions and how many can you vouch for?

You see, I have always maintained that Igbos and Fulani should be sharing the same country because they both share the same archaic expanionist mindset and suprematicist ideology. In 2025 when other ethnicities are busy seeking a way forward for themselves individually and collectively, the Igbo man is declaring "Ikwerre are Igbos" "Anioma is Igbo land" while trying to use deception to take over in Lagos.
PoliticsRe: Ohaneze: Igbos Deserve To Hold Political Offices In Lagos by sammiewrite(m): 7:56am On Jul 13, 2025
Irony1:
FreeStuffsNG please stop telling lies, when did they murder APC supporters in the south east?
Again on what basis in 2023 did you expect south east to vote for a party that called igbos 5% people, a party that against all advice and warning the president sanctioned a military operation called python dance that led to deaths of innocent people because they wanted to stop IPOB, that move now made people there become more sympathetic to the group.
Based on that and the fact that there was a more capable igbo candidate on LP, did you think they would vote for APC?
So you think Igbos can give over 90% of vote to their son because they think he is capable, but Yoruba dare not give their son just a little over 50% because they too think he is capable, or for some other reason at all which they're entitled to by the laws of Nigeria?

Also, you think Igbos are justified to react to Buhari calling them 5% and the operation Python Dance, but Lagosians dare not react after several years of continuous and sustained insults and attack on everything they hold dear? Be honest, have you ever seen an Ebira, Okun, Nupe, Gbagi, Urhobo or any other Nigerian from the other over 200 tribe called Lagos a "no man's land" other than the Igbos? Was it the Hausa people that held a meeting pre 2023 election, facing the camera and declaring boldly that taking over Lagos was non-negotiable? Is it the Ijaws that said that when they take over Lagos, that they will disband the traditional leadership and will chase Lagos traditional rulers under the bridge? Should I forward an X post that one of your sisters made a couple of weeks ago where she drew comparison between areas populated by Igbos and Yorubas in Lagos, and advised Lagos visitors to avoid Yoruba populated areas?
I know your first reaction to this post would be to deny everything. Then, when I drop tweets and links, you will claim they're not Igbos; that they're Agbado/Ronu impersonators. That, or you deflect to something totally unrelated like how Tinubu has caused hunger and poverty.

Now that vendetta has been introduced, Victor should be very careful. If I were in a position to advise him, I'd say he should work out a solution that will allow Napoli to benefit in some ways, as against running out his contract. The people he is running shoulder with are very connected and hugely protected. Make e no go be like that Argentine Ligue 1 player wey dem arrange plane crash for dat year.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Tinubu Will Win If Coalition Picks A Southerner – Kenneth Okonkwo by sammiewrite(m): 8:35am On Jul 09, 2025
ibabz:
Oga, pls stop this sentiment. Who told you the southerners have been fair to the north in this current dispensation?

mathematically the north should produce the next President. This is my analysis: South: OBJ: 8yrs + Jonathan 6yrs + Tinubu 4yrs - that’s a total of 18yrs for south. North: Yaradua 2yrs + Buhari 8yrs - that’s a total of 10yrs. Giving Tinubu another 4yrs means south would have done a total of 22yrs and north: 10yrs.
10 to 7 actually. 2 years Yar Adua and 8 Buhari vs. 5 years GEJ and 2 years Tinubu.
I want to pretend you didn't know that president Goodluck Jonathan was sworn in on 6th May 2010, which is five years. As for Obasanjo, the likes of Alex Ekwueme and Atiku had presidential ambitions within the PDP, but I want to pretend you didn't know why the leading candidate going into 1999 elections were two Yorubas. I also want to believe you thought it was a coincidence that OBJ who emerged as the winner was from the same state as the winner of the 1993 elections.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Tinubu Will Win If Coalition Picks A Southerner – Kenneth Okonkwo by sammiewrite(m): 8:14am On Jul 09, 2025
While leaders from the West and South like Bode George and Wike put their feet down and insist power must remain in the South, the usual 'sabos' of the South who, ironically love calling other Southerners "sabos" are at it again. Even if you don't rate your brother Obi, and don't like Tinubu, there's a Rotimi Amaechi in the picture.
PoliticsRe: Compare Aregbesola To Tunji-ojo As Interior Minister - Wike Mocks Coalition by sammiewrite(m): 12:40pm On Jul 06, 2025
Wike is talking about his time as a Minister. The man was an even bigger failure as a governor. Well, I don't blame him. I blame Tinubu who supported a misfit as a governor for hiv own selfish agenda, and Buhari who rewarded mediocrity. Elsewhere around the world, people who find themselves as equivalent of a governor are those with years of experience successfully managing people and resources at the highest level.
HealthRe: Microsoft AI Can Now Diagnose Illness 4 Times More Accurately Than Human Doctors by sammiewrite(m): 10:44am On Jul 05, 2025
AI will take more jobs than it is ever going to create, if any. The millions of junior developers (even senior developers aren't safe either - check reddit's r/cscareer), copywriters and content writers, and customer support people that it has already replaced, what opportunities has it created instead?

Waiters are getting replaced in their hundreds of thousands. The SEO guys are losing their jobs due to Google now populating the top of search results with ads and contents stolen from publishers. The Uber guys in 10 - 25 years especially in more developed countries will be completely replaced. Creatives like graphic designers, video creators, and movie directors are staring at uncertain future.
The problem is not AI replacing humans/human roles. The problem is, currently, it is not creating as many opportunities as it is replacing.
Unemployment is a big issue and most politician will soon find out that the reason they got away with so much for so long is because people had sources of livelihood to keep them busy. In the absence of which the kind of protests (both necessary and unnecessary) that will start flying left, right and center. Coupled with the attendant social vices.

I get the integration of AI in critical sectors like science, medicine or security because human lives are mostly involved, but more so because these fields doesn't employ up to 10% of the workforce in most countries. But when you allow greedy billionaires total freedom to replace humans in fields like marketing, tech or finance that represent a greater percentage of the workforce, then you are courting big trouble.

Not a vote for promiscuity but he said one word - "biology" - which I quite agree with. Whether women agree or not, men are biologically designed to be more sexually active. In other words, no menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth or menopause to be wary about or to alter sex drive.

They conceived, planned and wanted a man dead for no reason
There was a reason: financial incentives. She wanted my uncle out of the picture completely, but also wanted to teach him a lesson for daring to outgrow her manipulation/stop doing her biddings. She got what she wanted in the end though because inspite of that evidence, she still left with a lot. She too, like Op's wife, contributed nothing to the marriage other than the kids they shared.
FamilyRe: My Wife Called German Police On Me And Accused Me Of Rape by sammiewrite(m): 12:29pm On Jun 30, 2025
This could have been my uncle circa 2015 in the UK. For those who don't believe the story, my uncle's ex wife was with her friend downstairs plottng how she was going to pin rape on him. One of her daughters who maybe she didn't know was home, or thought would side her, heard her and recorded the rest of the conversations. My cousin informed her brother and they devised this plan to sneak their dad out and installed cameras without their mum knowing.

On the planned date, my uncle's wife would badge into my uncle's room with fresh wounds on her face and hands, started crying, only to find her daughter who had heard everything earlier on my uncle's bed. Her daughter simply pointed at the fact that she was live on camera and she suddenly become engulf in rage and started cursing her. Mind you, up to the point that my cousins presented evidence to their father, he was still in denial just as most users on this thread.
Anyway, that was how a marriage of 33 years ended.
EducationRe: Why Exactly Are We Going To School When We Know There Are No Jobs - Lady Asks by sammiewrite(m): 10:01pm On Jun 29, 2025
Landmaq:
Certain people on this thread are trying to overly smart. Stop trying to be too academic and accept the reality. People go to school so they can get a job. If you don't have any helper to start a venture, immediately you're done with school nobody will ask about your welfare anymore.

Can a hungry man start a venture or learn a skill? You'll be left with option of doing menial jobs to survive and being creative in that situation is not easy.

The best option is to start learning a high paying skill from your 100 level but some people are also struggling doing menial jobs that they can't concentrate on learning a skill.
Allow brother. When they finish speaking big big grammar online, everyone will log off and face their reality.

Anytime this conversation comes up, there are usually this group of people who will start telling us how the purpose of tertiary education is not to get jobs. That you go to school to be a problem solver or to broaden one's mind blah blah blah.

I mean, if this is what going to school is truly about, should it have to cost several thousands or millions in tuition, house rents, and other associated costs just to achieve this? Like, except it is medicine, law or engineering, broadening of the mind, problem solving skills, and most kind of knowledge can be acquired cheaply via say YouTube or other sources, without wasting four, five, or seven years of one's life. Also, if a job doesn't give the return on investment for the years of study and financial commitment, what should then?

I dunno, but it is not even like what is happening in our universities is education in the real sense of the word. Obsolete courses like mass communication and theory, theory, theory and more theory of outdated (imagine being thought ancient-of-days programming languages like fortan and cobol in 2025) and irrelevant knowledge that the learner cannot apply to better their lives or otherwise use to add value to an employer.

They knew they were just as morally bankrupt, shady, corrupt, clueless, incompetent, and selfish. Just some opportunists who saw they stood no chance under a military/monarchy system hence pushed for democracy.

Still haven’t learned any lessons, they still want to ship these ones out only to replace them with a certain Delap and Gittens. One would think you sell inferior quality for superior quality. Chelsea and United, I don't know who is the king of self sabotage.

Most of y'all lack critical thinking skills......What the heck is special needs? Make we define it first, is it ADHD, BPO or Down Syndrome? Is it physical impairment like missing limbs or slowed speech?

Special needs could be something as simple as the child not able to see clearly or even hearing problem, you want to KPAI the child because of that? Una really mad for this country o, chopping off heads because of headache is DIABOLICAL work yo!
See you trying to trivialize hearing and vision problem as if you know the challenges people with these problems face. Why not try have a vision or hearing problem first before you can make a better judgement whether or not it is enough reason to terminate a pregnancy.
For one, people with this kind of problem are automatically screened out of most jobs, including government jobs. Also, they find it hard to find love. And mind you, this is just two of their numerous challenges that I have decided to highlight, but I bet you didn't think this deeply (or don't care at all since you aren't the one affected) before name calling others as being mad and lacking in critical thinking.

Since this madness started, we have lost one CDS and two chief of army staff. In my over three decades on earth, I haven't seen or hear this happen anywhere else in the world. That is just to give people who don't have an idea of what we're dealing with.

Look at Gen. Musa's fixed gaze on the IG when the latter stood up. They all know the truth and the people who are involved. Unfortunately, Nigerians will have to live with the consequences of years of building strong men as against strong institutions, and our culture of sacred cow/worshipping of people with money, power or authority, which also shows with the senseless clapping after every 1-minute of speech.

You people are just defiant as the anti-tinubu by trying to be sanctimonious. You forgot that not all of us are dummies. Can we just say that private people attacked private person?. But no, it was tag on o bidients as the attackers of one private individual. It would be adamant of me not to tell you truth that if it is as private as you claim then why are you trying so hard to blame it on the obidient? Can't some displeased private individuals express themselves without being called "obidient"?

Let me take you back abit: Sahara reporter was owned by private individual whose platform was used as fuel for relentless attacks on Jonathan administration. Can you deny that it never happened?

I have nothing against onokoya, and I love the way he responded to critique and fans alike. But I am against is this well orchrasted move by some people to shut down anybody who dare to criticise this administration like Mr president was a Saint.
I tagged the people attacking Tunde as Obedients? You mean, I did that in my post that you replied to? Or you already made up your mind that I'm am APC supporter because I didn't join in attacking Tunde, try to dance around or trivialise the distasteful comments that are being directed at him, or try to exonerate the Obidients even when the group has never denied not being behind this particular attack on Tunde, or the other previous attack on others e.g. Akin Tollgate and very recently the LASU lecturer?

I see you referenced Sahara Reporter and GEJ in your second paragraph. Is Sowore not a politically exposed person just as is GEJ? Is Tunde Onakoya politically exposed? Also, you're always quick to bring up the "APC boys" narrative as a justification for trying to gag or strip ordinary Nigerians of their right of association and speech. Then I want to ask you, these APC boys, how many ordinary Nigerians in the shape or mould of Tunde Onakoya, Joke Silva, Pastor Adefarasin, Pastor Adeboye, Pastor Kumuyi, etc. did they bully pre or post 2015 election for visiting or voting GEJ, or for not endorsing Buhari?

I am not obident but I am not fan of apc either. But your attack dogs keep calling me one. How do you clarify that?
You are just arrogantly dishonest and it is very annoying. We are talking about private citizens like Tunde Onakoya who are not known to be associated with any politician or political party getting attacked and bullied, you're here talking about GEJ, a politician who was dragged by his fellow politicians/political jobbers. Like, what is the correlation?

No research, no plan, no strategy, no investigation. This is not how to run a country.

Shior. Typical of Nigerians not cutting their coats according to their cloth. Even before Balabu came to seal our fate, how many pet owners in Nigeria are actually financially capable? Same pet owners on 1-0-1 diet?
Anyway, the decision to give the dogs out is highly commendable as against allowing them starve or running rampage in the neighbourhood. My parents have stopped raising chickens due to poorly fed dogs and cats owned by Nigerians who can't feed themselves well but who have insisted on keeping pets.
Christianity EtcRe: Break Your Dirty Sexual Addictions Because... by sammiewrite(m): 12:00pm On May 25, 2025
Utter rubbish. I can't believe that of all the challenges facing Christians in 2025, it is irrelevant topics like sex that the Op decides to prioritise.
Christains in Nigeria are suffering from the bad economy. Millions of Christian youths are unemployed or underemployed. Some youths are depressed and contemplating suicide. Some are dying of terminal illnesses. Some Christians in places like Jos and Benue are being killed in their hundreds. These are few of the burning issues facing the Christendom but every time even in Churches, there is ever any discussion or actions being taken towards addressing these issues. The focus is always about how to control what people see, how they spend their money, what they know, what they eat, what they listen to, how they live their lives, etc. Posts like the above reinforces my position that it is all about control, and I'm glad that I quietly left.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Democracy Has Failed, We Must Explore New Governance Models - Agbakoba by sammiewrite(m): 10:34am On May 21, 2025
I have been saying it for years, so long as democracy is a system of government of the majority vote, it will never work! Why? The majority don't know what they want, but more importantly, because the majority's understanding of good governance is seriously flawed.
Is it the majority whose understanding of good governance is "thick" Julius Berger logo? Or the majority who support their governors using billions of Naira to subsidise religious pilgrimage rather than investing in critical infrastructure like power? Democracy is also the reason why we're talking of Fulani herdsmen today because Nigerian politicians know the strong influence the Fulanis have on the majority Northern population. Democracy is a system of government where the politicians are only loyal to their voters and support base, as against the country or the collective interest of its people.

Kopa Clement did the right thing by ensuring the erring teacher is removed from the environment of those girls and is currently facing justice. But I think he should have handled this better. No doubt he was seeking safety for those girls. However, he didn't prioritize his own safety/wellbeing.
That part of his story where he was banned from the school and then he said he got a directive to go back. Also, the ambush in the principal's office. On those two occasions, anything could have happened.
As with cases of this nature, great restraint and caution is often advised, and for good reasons. If I were him, for starters, I wouldn't make any move until I have gotten my final clearance.

That experience is very important for your first job especially if you didn't graduate with a first class or 2:1. Also, some overseas postgraduate programs won't offer you admission without relevant job experience.

Whether the OP admits it or not, the misdiagnosis part of OP's of his story doesn't exist. During our parents time it was ignorance, but now it is largely some men's ego/arrogance making them assume they are AA because they don't fall sick. It could also be due to religious madness and/or the selfishness of not wanting to lose a partner that has been considered irreplaceable. So, all those talks of misdiagnosis are familiar tales that are now becoming boring.
And for some people on here who are trying to trivalise the premium gbege that OP just ordered, deceiving him that sickle cell is not a big deal, and that they know a 60 or 70 something year old or that one local mixture or church can help cure the disease. Well, for one, medicine is still your best bet. And yes, sickle cell is a big deal both to the patient and the parent/guardian. You won't understand this statement now but I say give it five years.

First, they say they are foreigners. Next, they attempted to grab people's ancestral land in the name of ruga/grazing reserve. Then they created a whole ministry as a reward for criminals. Now we're at that stage where we have to use tax payers money to create a seperate security outfit that even Man o War can defeat in the absence of the politics and with the right support. I mean, they have done all this hard work, when all that should have been done all this while is the simple work of seeing these criminals for who they are (and not as their ethnic stock) and going full force after them; kill as many as you can, capture few, and prosecute even fewer.

It is becoming embarrassing at this rate the numbers of corners that the FG has had to go through/the number of excuses they have put up because of the group involved. If it were to be another ethnic group, take for instance IPOB, the FG will engage them with our current security forces. Lakurawa have guns, Mahmuda have guns, bandits have guns, Boko Haram have guns, JTF have guns, vigilantes have guns, even cultists. One would think with all the security challenges in the country we would be trying to reduce the number of people who have access to guns but again, it is a face-saving move, so I'm not surprised. The only people I feel sorry for are those who will submit themselves to be their pawn all in the name of forest guard.

I mean, if they were not all about the money, at first you said applicants who are below 16 should not apply. Then you realized revenue will drop, so did a 360 and said students below 16 can take the exams without duly informing them that you won't release their results.
