Kobojunkie:For your point 1, it is not my idea. Those were the words of your fellow gender whose posts was referenced, which I simply replied to. In the post, she stated she will not seek marital advice from a pastor because pastors usually advice women to tolerate suffering and disrespect. And my reply was off that premise, that it is only your gender who believes and can voice the opinion that it is only women who are suffering and enduring disperect in marriages. You lots believe that as far as a relationship between a man and woman, the man is automatically the aggressor or culprit, while the woman is a gentle angel that cannot lie or hurt a fly. For most men, we believe within our ranks, there are the good, the bad, and the ugly. For your point 2, I have been around here for sometimes now and I know you like unnecessary arguments and drawing silly conclusions to suit your own agenda, which is fine. It takes dishonesty, delusion, or lack of exposure to opine that only women are suffering and getting disrespected in marriages. In Nigeria and elsewhere aruound the world, there is no shape, size or level of shege that men are administering to women that women are not administering to men. "If someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." The groom should just call of the wedding if he is smart and not try to negotiate. This is the kind of family where the wife will collude with her mother to use Western family courts to wipe the man clean after birthing a child or two. Obasanjo's legacy. Like the other leaders the country had had bar maybe Muritala, OBJ is one very unpatriotic leader who was all about himself and power. That time the 12 northern states demanded a separate law from the laws that applied to other Nigerians, OBJ should have given a very robust response (a la Odi and Zaki Ibiam) or at the very least, countered with the option of a separate country. It was because those 12 states succeeded in their quest and there were no severe consequences to send a very strong message, is the reason Boko Haram even had the temerity. I have been following Op's story for a while now and I just wish the next time he post, people will just ignore him. He is very selfish and irresponsible, and I know that his next update would be him announcing the birth of his eight child. He is not thinking about his wife who has had to put her life on the line seven times, or his kids whose standard of living will be severly impacted with his ambition to become the father Abraham of our time. Op is grinding out kids now he is happy. Ten years from now when his first three kids would've become teenagers with increased appetite for food, or when one or two of his kids will be sitting for the jsce/ssce exam, when he will be required to pay for three terms at once plus the exam fees, that is when he will start blaming the government in power. Or, he turns to his first born and start blackmailing him into taking on responsibilities (s)he is neither capable of or prepared for. And as for the few people who are hedging Op on, telling him to ignore sound advice and live his life, I just want to say that may we not become victims of our own devises. Well, I would like to remind them that hardly will you see armed robbers, bandits, internet fraudsters, oloshos, ritualists, etc. from middle/high income families. From the group of men who sponsored a Natasha to the senate despite all the other qualified men and women in Kogi, to the male police bosses who refused to take action on the evidence presented to them because this is not a Sowore with a dangling phalus, to Natasha's husband who rewards a serial liar and blackmailer with marriage, to the old fools whom Natasha sent to beg Reno Omokri for out of court settlement - all these kinds of men deserve to be destroyed completely, and the last thing anyone should be doing is trying to interfere. |

This particular strain of madness is very easy to fix. First off, heighten border control and make sure they don't head the immigration or customs. In the lead up to the election, roll out raids across the country especially up North to deport as many undocumented foreigners. Then, census must happen before the elections, with advanced techs like fingerprint being at the core of the process. Some of the things I have seen you write over the years on a faceless forum can be forgiven. Unfortunately nothing will be done. It is sad because we aren't even looking at the elephant in the room: democracy. All that democracy will get any country or people (especially of different idealogies) are pandering leaders who will always kowtow to their election sponsors or where majority of their votes will come from. Governor Aiyedatiwa and Abdulrahaman are mute. Governor Mbah and Nwifiru are always in denial mode. Governor Muftwang is always acting confused or ignorant. Benue Governors are always acting clueless. Governor Seyi Makinde ate his own words on Sharia because of presidential ambition. Atiku deleted his post on Deborah. Governor Opkeholo of Edo ran to Kano meanwhile there are several reports of killings of his own people on his table that he neither speak to, nor took any action against. Even the president will be asking where are the cows when the victims are from a section of the country with less "political value," whereas when it is the other side, he will be talking tough, creating ministry of livestock, trying to grab people's ancestral lands in the name of ruga, or offering amnesty to hardened criminals who should ordinarily have their day in court. Nigerians are on a long thing is all I can say. Without the usual blackmail of votes and with the enormous powers of a president or governor, any nonsense can be stopped in two weeks tops. |

The security architecture in Kwara state should be ashamed of themselves. Kidnapping has been happening in that axis for at least five years. To apprehend these kidnappers is very easy if not that the police don't want to for reasons best known to them. Those guys are always operating around that 6 - 7 pm Saturdays. A neighbour and my dad's former boss who lost his live to those daredevils in 2022 was also kidnapped around that same time while he was returning from a wedding. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Lots of great ideas already so I don't have anything else to add. I just want to say that you should be very careful with your users that are harping on propaganda and bigotry as some of the things that needs to change (yes, it needs to, but not in the way they want it). What I have come to understand is that majority of the people making these comments are guilty of this same propaganda and bigotry that they're always wailing about (check their monikers and post histories). It's not like they want bigotry or propaganda to be gone for a good reason; it's just that they don't want competition - they just want to be the only one spreading the lies and hate unhindered. You can already see someone on this same thread justifying his attacks on other users tribe but in the same sentence feigning ignorance of why someone would dare attack his own noble, protected tribe. It has even gotten to a level that commenting on neutral topics like japa would earn one the label of being on the payroll of the government. If you want to approach this particular issue, go ruthless; If you're dropping mods, drop the ones that have been accused of being pro APC and/or the Westerners, and also the mod that is always pushing the oriental guys agendas and taking their sides in matters. Don't allow anybody to gaslight you. Treat everyone as guilty and nobody as victims. This is the only way. Failure to do this, then you will be creating another "ronu" situation. 1 Like 1 Share |

BNB is very liquid and with two or three successful trades in a day, ranging between 15 - 25 USDT, I close shop for the day. With a x3 leverage, worst that would have happened to your 592 is you lose the 92 on top. It is also beneficial psychologically, because you won't be under the same amount of pressure, or won't be as desperate to make 92 USDT back, as you would trying to make over 500 USDT back. 2. If you think the trading fees of the platform you're on is too much, I recommend you switch to B1nance. But regardless of the exchange you're on, another thing you should be aware of is funding fees. Believe it or not, that policeman spoke the mind of majority of his people. They have been getting away with the killings of Southerners for as far as I can remember, so he knows that at the end of the day, nothing will happen. If nothing happened to Buhari after his "dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood" 2011 statement, where hundreds of Southerners were targeted and killed, nothing will happen to him. When it is convenient, as in when talking about the price of food items or the state of the economy, OBJ and GEJ governments will be referenced, but when these same governments are referenced for something that doesn't suit the agenda, like how the two presidents appointed INEC chairmen in their time, that is when some people gets to draw the line, and will now be asking stupid questions. As much as I know this article is speculative, the president should choose anyone he wants and heaven will not fall! Sunk cost is what got many men into this kind of situation, unfortunately. All the stories of spousal abuse that I have followed, it usually starts during the courtship/dating. In fact, ask this man the first time he received slap as an adult, I can tell you it will be from this his so-called wife and also most likely when they were dating. Many years after, that woman who was slapping him then has now graduated into tying him up like a goat, and even recruiting his children against him. Men have no business with sunk cost. As humans, we won't make the best of decisions all the time, but once you know you have fvcked up biggerly (especially with the choice of a wife), admit it quickly (best before the kids start coming) and move on. |

People call Tinubu names everyday without anybody paying them any attention, but must she criticise the government while being a "government pikin"? What is so difficult in waiting a few more months, after her status must have reverted and having returned to her turf, before sharing her opinion? In her small mind now she thinks the worst that could happen is that she will not receive her certificate? She forget, however, that she is not indigent to the city she tagged "smelling." Plus, the politician she labeled "terrible" has a lot of supporters who could quickly go out of line. In Nigeria, rape, murder are crimes where the perpetrators are often arrested and prosecuted. Why is it that when it is done by a Fulani man it is no longer a "crime" where the criminals are to be arrested or prosecuted, but rather a "problem" whose only solution is "a livestock ministry" and/or ranching? The people have spoken and the FG should back off. If they are serious about the whole "farmer-herder" crisis - like, is it even farmer-herder clashes, when it is the herders who are always trespassing and committing mass murders? - and think they need to get involved, they should: 1. Ban herding and proscribe the herders national association and its members as terrorists 2. Go after the criminal herders and treat them like the criminals they are. 1 Like |

If until now the government has not arrested or started the prosecution of certain high profile people in connection to this case, Iluyomade and his DG should read the room and use their heads. They should understand that without the government arresting the faces behind the fake drugs (most of whom are their politician friends), all their efforts is a waste, as these guys will only lay low for maybe a few months and resume duties like nothing ever happened. |

Our redemption will start any day we come to a conclusion that democracy is a SCAM. It was the idea of cunning and dishonest people who wanted power, but knew they stood no chance against the military and monarchy system. Democrats have not been better at administration, governance or cost saving. Their record is also very poor in terms of abuse of office and power, as democrats sneaked in fancy and deceitful words like immunity and clemency (which they routinely abuse to free their criminal family members and associates). If you ask me, I'd say, democracy is everything the other systems of government is, with "hyprocrisy" as the icing. |

There's just too much that I can't just understand about this Zelensky of a man and his country. First off, are there are no older, more experienced politicians in Ukraine that can be guiding this schoolboy on how to deal with OGs like Trump and Putin? His naivety and lack of experience is clearly showing. Like, why did he even attended the meeting (alone)? How come he didn't anticipate this kind of situation? Why did he agree to have the meeting with cameras everywhere and with Trump's vice present? Why did he accept that kind of sitting arrangement? (someone like Putin will be having such discussions on a very long table, for example). Ukraine is fvcked currently but at the speed this guy is going, I dunno. I shared with her the fact that my faith was an integral and essential part of my life and that I would require her to convert to Islam. Praise be to Allah; this was not a difficult decision for Maria. Being part-Christian and part-Muslim at birth and already living in a Muslim household, it was never going to be wholly uncharted territory for her. Who swore for this old man never to say the whole truth? Why always half truths? IBB admitted in his first statement that the whole convert thing was his idea but look at his second statement. According to him, although from a mixed background, Maria was still a Christian and an adult as at the time they met. If she wanted to switch sides so bad, wouldn't she have done it prior to meeting Babangida? That was how he said in his own words that he took responsibility for the June 12 ish and even affirmed that Abiola won the election, only to turnaround and try to rope Abacha in, when he was in fact the one who announced the annulment, plus Abiola was still alive when Abacha died. Seriously, the media should give us a break from this man. |

How any sane person will see the list of the coupists, the victims, and the beneficiaries and say it wasn't ethnically motivated is what I don't understand. What I have come to understand is that they know the truth but are too prideful/shameful to admit it, reason they come up with ridiculous narratives like doing it to free Awolowo, a man the coupists or Aronsi neither deemed fit to immediately release or even release several months after. If the argument is that IBB should be believed because he was part of the military, then maybe we should also believe the likes of Muritala and TY Danjuma who were also part of the military setup at the time, who deemed the coup as an ethnic coup and hence staged a counter coup. The thing is, when a group of people crave for truth, fairness, and justice only when they're at the receiving end but turnaround to lie, twist facts and outright block every attempt at fairness and justice when they are the offender, then I'm not surprised about their karma as they'recurrently experiencing it in the Nigeria of today. Gasperini's approach to both legs of the tie got them eliminated. It's fine if he doesn't wants to take responsibility. At the same time, he shouldn't pass the blame around. He had arguably better players than Brugge but still couldn't beat them away. Knowing what is at stake at home, you then decide to concede three goals at first half? Did you also saw that they didn't release his name or picture? Another detail captured in the report is that going by the setting in the suspect's room, this may not be his first victim and yes, I'm not surprise. If it is the Ilorin that I have known for over two decades, most criminals are repeat offenders who should have been allowed to have their days in court. But once police arrest any of their sons, what his family will do next is to go to the victim's family house (Agbole), where they will try to blackmail them into dropping the case. If this is not successful, they lobby their district heads, traditional leaders or clerics to put pressure on the victim's family. 3 Likes |
