Hello Gurus in the house, I'm planning of upgrading my Corolla with this new aftermarket steering wheel and android audio. The installer claims the steering wheel comes with its own air-bag. Is it advisable or should I just stick with my old steering wheels.

The airbag light on the dash has always been on, I'm suspecting the clockspring might be bad.

Try changing or cleaning your air filter and also clean the MAF sensor.

Good day Oga Gazzuzz, my '04 Rav4 stalls and hesitate at the slightest hill.. The power reduces after climbing ordinary bump.. They try scanning but couldn't as the brainbox was free code..
My mechanics said we should change the brainbox that it might likely be the problem because we've change pump, plugs, clean injector but problem persists..

You man want to clean the Mass Airflow sensor with the proper cleaning spray and clean/change ur air filter. This can help with ur lack of power.

Evening house, I recently changed my valve cover seal and spark plugs on my 2006 Toyota Corolla as it was leaking oil, had to be topping it, also find out that some oil leaked into spark plug hole at far right. After changing the seal and plugs, the leaking stopped but the problem now is that the car vibrates at idle, as in, all the plastic of the interior will be rattling until I engage the gear on drive.

Has anyone experienced this before and what do you think I can do to resolve this problem.

Wow...this was exactly what happened to my corrola 2009, I changed my fule pump and the check engine light came up after 2 days with those two exact code.
I took it to a professional mechanic and he told me not to worry about it that it's just air passage that is causing it. Say make I dey use my car like that, since over 5 months now sef it's cool

Bros, the tin tire me too. Took it to the mechanic to tighten the fuel pump properly and then cleared the code, it came back the following day. Cleared it again and its been 3 days now and its yet to return. I will keep watching it.

I finally solve this problem on my 06 corolla.. I change cold switch, change fuel pump, service almost every part of d car yet no solution.... Until i got to a new mechanic and he said its fuel pump again.. I told him i have change fuel pump but he insisted its fuel pump, so i bought another fuel pump, complete assy for 14k and the problem disappear... Car is driving normal and its over 2 month now.. My Mech says when u switched off ur car, some fuel returns back to the engine while some will stays in the engine or in d fuel line, a good fuel pump is meant to hold the little fuel in d engine in terms of pressure. It is that little fuel in the engine that will be used to START ur car whenever you want to drive out, before the fuel in ur tank will start coming up... Most times, a bad pump will not hold pressure, that means when u off ur engine, ALL the fuel returns back to the tank..

Glad you were able to solve yours, had similar experience and ended up changing my fuelpump and the cold start sensor. Did you get any Check engine light after yours was changed?

So I took my Corolla to the mechanic and he adviced I changed the fuel pump and the cold start sensor, which I did and thankfully the hard starting issue was resolved completely. The previous fuel pump filter was actually dirty (its was black), the strainer too was partly blocked so I had to change the pump/filter/stainer/check valve assembly (they come as a unit). Got tokunbo.

Lost some coolant as the cold start sensor was changed as it is connected to the collant channel on the engine block, so prepare to top up your coolant after the change if you are considering same option.

The problem now is that I am getting error code P0441 and P0455 as show below, I've cleared it but keeps coming back every few days of drive. Did anyone also have the check engine code and how did you clear?

I have a 2006 toyota corolla that was having hard starting in the morning, it needed to be cranked 2 to 3 times before it starts but drives and starts normally for the day. Took it to the mechanic and the fuel pump was changed. The cold start sensor was also changed and its solved the problem of the hard starting. But now the check engine light is on and its bring P0441 and P0455 error codes. Could this be related to the fuel pump change and if so what can be done to rectify it. I have clear the error code but it normally return in 2 days, Thanks.

The first indicator means one or more of your tires is low in air pressure. Try to guage your tires to the recommended pressure. Include the spare tire also because some do carry pressure sensor.

The second indicator means there is a pending error code on the ECU, try to scan the car through the OBD port to get the error codes and paste it here for Oga Gazzuzz to interprete and tell us possible solutions.

It depends on you, let me tell you something some people will ask you why do you need to run a Bsc programme again when you have an HND? they will question your self esteem
I'm also in your shoes.. but this is what I have come to realise so far
1) HND or BSc.. there is no job out there
2) HND or BSc the organization doesn't care, in as much as you know your job
3)YES! HND in statistics qualifies you for direct entry into Accounting
But!
There are some opportunities you will not get if you don't have a degree
There are some chances you will not get to prove yourself if you dont have a degree
There are some interviews you will not get if you don't have a degree

The bottom line is that being successful in your career path is not dependent on whether you have an HND or BSc.

As an HND holder, I will say I've never been out of job since I graduated 2years ago, but the truth is there are better opportunities I have missed out on due to the fact that I don't have a degree, I'm currently trying to run a conversion programme in a course related to my field.

@23 you are still very young, please opt for direct entry if you are from @least a average family who are willing to support you for the next 2-3years again, if not you can try conversion programme, this will give you the opportunity to work and continue schooling at the same time.

But please in whatever decision you take, go and learn IT, I sincerely believe you will do very well in coding or data analysis.
