@loluc90, yes u can motorise 100cm dish but it requires u design the motorising neck. The simpliest design is for u locate a fibre dish near u and copy the neck .

2.4cm solid dish not mesh will give u nilesat in ife. tree do not affect nilesat signals that much cos the sat is located near the top of the arc. i suggest u read the thread on nilesat installation and give it a try yourself cos not all installers can handle out of footprint birds.

you do not need to creat a thread for this. Anyway yur 4940 will receive multitv

@jummy mine, tracking nilesat involves a lot of factors eg location, dish size.
So tell us where you reside and your dish size

@lasun, ur first lesson is to understand the way sats are arranged in the sky. It is from east to west or vice versa. 2 motorised dish in naija usually starts from east moving west. 3 also note that if your dish is at mytv position that is intelsat 7/10@68 east, as u move your dis upward to say multitv on astra2b@28e your elevation is decreasing. So it will decrease until it gets to zzero and your dish change to west and elevation degree start to increase.
If u understand this principle, u will be able to track more sats.
I suggest u read the thread on motorising 1.8m dish and above for list of sats available to naija.
