@eedris, return the 4663x which is mpeg2 and get 4669x or x11 mpeg4 in replacement. The 69x costs about N12500 so be prepared to add some money to get it. With 69x u can track astra2b@28e 12551v19530 multitv and enjoy football, movies & news.

To motorise your ground mount dish u need the followings
1. U will 1st construct a motorising neck for the dish.
2. 7-9 feet pipe
3. 24inches jack for 1.8 , 2.4 and 3m dishes, 36inches jack for 3m and above
4. Positioner
5 4way cable for jack- positioner conection
pls read the thread on motorising 1.8 dish and above for more info

4653x?? No firmware. Strong has discontinued the model. And pls do not try to upgrade it. There is a killer patch out there to kill the decoder. Just use it for fta, mytv and hitv ok. cheers.

@lovala, am just seeing yur post and hope the problem has been solved. But if not, try changing the lnb or if yur dish is motorised try another sat. You can also test your receiver on another dish setup to ascertain that it is not faulty.

The issue with w3a is signal reduction, u will need bigger dish and a good lnb to track it.
As for satellites over ethopia, u will have to do a bit of research. Visit www.satstar.net/satellites.html, www.dishpointer.com for satellites coverage maps. I wish u success

The c band sats u can track with the dish will depend on your channel needs say for instance u want football, atlantic bird c @5west will do for now.
