Dude, seriously how do these figures show where the people live?
The people captured in these figures could be living in any part of the country - can't you see how low the figures for Lagos are?
I got tired of replying some of you people on this thread seriously.
you are right don't mind those people,, it's because of state of origin that makes Lagos figures low, if it's State of residence Lagos figures will be high

I just don't know, some people shouldn't have access to internet.

what has the number of state has to do with this.

ekiti states was once part of ondo state, if we return ekiti back to ondo state, does it change in the number of population...

if we divided ondo state into 2, does it affect the population of yorubas...

think straight nah, you're all educated..

what's. matters here is state of origin

and those that are talking about the igbo is sw, I guess you don't know what they do for living,,, nah gateman and okada riders..

sorry to burst your bubble but Pounded yam is ingrained in other Yoruba groups as well. The Ijebu and remo people also mastered it as well. There is a special variant of iyan that Ijebu people are well known for as well as other yam dishes like ikokore and ojojo. Mind you, it's not due to influence because they were notorious for their strict isolationism compared to other Yoruba. Foreigners were not allowed to enter their kingdom. Iyan is simply Yoruba. Igbos didn't influence Ekiti culture and it wasn't until colonialism that they were widely known in Yorubaland. The similarities you see is due to correlation. It's a well known fact that Ekiti has a Christian majority with also the highest percentage of Catholics among Yoruba.

oh and as for ondo people not being "pure Yoruba," well I guess you don't know that the some of the oldest Yoruba settlements are not found in oyo, but in Eastern Yorubaland. And you should know that people from ondo speak dialects that are the closest to the original Yoruba language.. Even among the distinct Ilaje, there exist the ugbo clan. Many of them would tell you that they are the original Yoruba.
you are right @ the bolded, in my town (ondo town)
house is Uli
yam is usu
etc...

now Uli is the original word for house in Yoruba language

A LESSON IN LIFE,
Belive in your dream and start small with percent and consistency soon one day you will get there or get so close. Mind you even if nnamdi kanu fails now he will go down in history as one of Nigeria hero's and if he achieve it he will be so so respected and treated like a king.
actually am from ondo state in ondo city but I love ondo state to move out of so called Nigeria even so called oduduwa
Christianity Etc › Re: Allah Is Not Real: Mubarak Declares Religion Is Fake Creation by Sammy07: 11:01am On Apr 26, 2017
suyamasta:
A Nigerian Muslim turned atheist, Mubarak Bala, has declared that there is no Allah, or any other god for that matter

- Bala said all gods were imagined by their prophets

Mubarak Bala, a self-declared atheist, in a series of Facebook posts discovered by NAIJ.com, said all gods are imagined, and that Allah was an imagination of the prophet of Islam, Muhammed.

He argued that the idea of Allah was sold to the Arabs by Muhammed and that those who disagreed with prophet were killed during his time to hide the truth.

Bala, in one of his posts, said: "Allah is not real. It is imagined by Muhammed and projected to gullible Arabs not smart enough to see delusion. Those that did, were killed as Kuffar in later jihads."

"Allah, Yahweh, Tsumburbura, Zeus, Amadioha, Krishna, Anubis, FSMonster, are all not real. We made them."

See Bala's posts below:

Bala also argued that: "The gods had only the level of knowledge of their claimants and prophets because, the clueless guys (prophets) made them (gods)."

NAIJ.com recalls that Bala who was raised in a Muslim family, was forcibly held up at Aminu Kano Teaching hospital in June 2014, after he publicly declared that he God does not exist and there is no history about Adam, who is largely believed to be the first creature on earth.

His family insisted that he was mentally ill and kept him at the mental institution until he was certified mentally okay by a doctor, who said nothing was wrong with him.

Unsatisfied with the doctor's diagnosis, his family bundled him to another doctor who diagnosed that Bala was suffering from personality disorder.

Bala was released from mental home after he was able to send series of tweets and emails out to people who stood up to fight for him, alleging that his predominantly Muslim family were merely trying to silence him.
