Kenn55: no wonder u talk like this, u re over there and u re running ur mouth recklessly. As a matter of fact I don't speak for the masses cos u don't know there thought. For u to write like this it means I don't want the country to be good at all, Nigerian citizens re indeed the problem of this country.
Did you just say the bolded? See, the mistake people like you make is to think we as Nigerians should all value the same thing. Nigeria was not designed to make collective progress because we don't appreciate it as a people, it is designed for individual progress. So for your own good think about yourself and yourself alone, don't bother about others, the general society. Believe me, it is all man for himself so you need to start thinking selfishly and forget about others.
Secondly, Nigeria did not fail her citizens. Believe me, they way Nigeria is today, far majority of the citizens love it that way. The rich love Nigeria like mad and would even frustrate any effort to make it better for everyone. If everybody has 24/7 light for instance, how would the rich oppress others with their inverters and solar systems that costs millions of naira? If all those things you are talking about is available to all, what then will separate the rich from the poor? How would the rich do long throat to the poor? The gap will be close. Let us not forget that the rich needs a Nigeria like this to maintain their 'chairmanship' over others. If Nigeria becomes better for all and this wide gap reduces, their 'chairmanship' goes down. Nigeria is built to have a form of 'social distancing' between classes of people
What of the poor? When you see them complaining and cursing their leaders, it is not because they want Nigeria to have a working system or as developed or beautiful like Dubai or Germany, it is because they do not have the opportunity to acquire wealth, show off and oppress others. Once they cross over and become rich, Nigeria will become the best thing after slice bread. Those things they complain about will no longer matter to them.
The reality is that you need to pursue your own personal happiness alone. Don't think about the larger society, they don't want it. If you are tired, stop complaining, find a way to legally migrate abroad, Nigerian borders are still open . If you can't, just make yourself happy anyhow
I got fade up with the country and i relocated with my family. For me, the next time i will live in Nigeria permanently will be decades from now when i retire. I will come back to Nigeria to love Nigeria and become the most patriotic Nigerian alive . In fact, i will paint my house and car green white green and dedicate my online presence to loving Nigeria with all my heart. For now, let me enjoy what the developed world has to offer first . There is nothing as sweet as seeing it all, enjoying it all and then coming back to be in the position to deceive others. It is not being selfish, it is being a Nigerian . That is how they country wants it |

Hahahahhah bro, u dey mind her! Some people can be annoying, even if she's enjoying light in her area she shouldn't be complaining at least the light is stable. Nigerians eh I just wonder why we re like this. Nigerian is good! They give u stable light u dey complain say they re reaping u off. |

I feel bad when someone is trying to make a point that Nigeria is good and that people should not migrate I mean common, it's good for someone to migrate it's even in the Bible. Anybody that still have or believe that there is still hope in this country should keep believing, Nigeria is a failed country there is no doubt about it we can all see it. If u have made up ur mind to travel out of this country pls do me I support 100% and don't let anybody pollute ur mind. just plan ahead and save towards it that's all, some people will come here and be saying Nigeria is good because they re living fine and they have money to buy whatever they want, it's not everybody that has that opportunity. Op pls don't let anybody pollute ur mind Abeg, just stay focus and achieve ur dreams, there is a huge difference between Nigeria and the western world. |

To me that money is okay for any country u re going to in Europe cos it depend on the visa type, but the hard part is even u don't know anybody that will take u in or accommodate u it's going to be hell. But as a Nigerian U know u can always find ur way if u re determined. Just follow ur mind and pray that God direct ur steps u will surely survive. |

Well not new to me actually, but I see people will still think it's the best way out of desperation. So many people have lost hope and they think that they can't make it here in Nigeria. Desperate people with desperate mind can take that trip. I have a cousin who went to Spain by road, he got there actually and he married a spanish lady who made him stayed there legally, but because he wanted to be rich at a fast rate and because of the jazz he had he thought he was invincible, he was caught and jailed and later deported back to Nigeria where he is now back to square one hustling hard. If u get mind u can go through that route and if God help u behave when u get there, if u no get mind no even go close to am nah death trap.... adios. |

Dagrace01: Mining for skull is heartless but it's quite different from killing ur own kinsman for money or using ur mother rituals. Yes this happens everywhere but more than 80% of such case comes from the East. Boko Haram is terrorism and this happens everywhere in the world, Is, Al-Queda, Al-shabaab and the likes are all terrorists that needs to be wiped out of the world, but this doesn't correlate with the fact that Igbo man's god is money. Everything u listed above aren't valid with what I wrote, u know the fact and u won't admit it. You called me a racist for stating the obvious about Igbos, will you call an American a racist for condemning the atrocities of Hitler and those that believe in him? Listen I'm a Yoruba guy and I know where we have flaws, u guys usually say we are cunning and that our women are dirty, it is the obvious about some Yorubas and that won't be a racist statement.. You guys love money and that is a known fact. I work with Chinese, they tell us stories of what Igbo men do for money in China, it's very very ridiculous. Igbo Kwenu, I hail una o! u murdered this guy, I like ur write up. |
