Chigozie321:
I'm sure everyone here has a friend or relative that has JAPA in the last two years.

My siblings have all migrated. I'm the only one remaining in Naija. I do not intend to leave the country for some personal reasons at least for now.

At times I feel lonely and unhappy seeing that most of my loved ones have dispersed all over the world. No more going to weddings, house warming, naming, etc. together cry

Where I work, my closest work pals have all migrated. Even most of my church co-workers and neighbours sef don commot.

As an individual/family, how has it affected you? And how are you rebuilding your local network?

How are you making new quality relationships in the workplace, home, place of worship, etc.?
oga stay behind and look after the house nobody is forcing u biko and stop lamenting, it's Ur choice of staying back adiós

Good one. I've always supported trading in local currencies.

Nevertheless, it won't still scratch the value of the dollar. The US exports more than they import so na the balance of payment be the koko.

There is a reason why Pounds sterling GBP is strong like a rock despite not being used as the major world settlement currency like the USD.

As long as the US stay ahead of others in innovations, technologies, etc. they have nothing to worry.

A country that owns and hosts Apple, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Boeing, GE, Amazon, Tesla, etc and you think their currency will just fall yakata?

Just dey play
I just don't if this people re trying to catch fun or nah sarcasm. Because if they give them free visa go that country dem go reject am, American will always be number one any day any time.

Manchester United hope to have Rasmus Hojlund available for the first time when Nottingham Forest come to town this weekend.

Reports suggest the £72million striker is nearing full fitness after joining the club with a back injury, which has so far delayed his debut.

However, Erik ten Hag may choose not to risk Hojlund from the start even if he is injury free, and despite his side’s struggles in front of goal this season.
rasmond is not even on the bench.

are u just new to this package? This has been going on for years now no be today, my dad told me about it until experienced it my self. Guys re desperate to move that's the Reason they use school package because it's very easy for them to be given student visas. I don't know how hard it is for Nigerians to get student visas to the US, but I see guys come into the states I am to hustle and start afresh. They do some shitty jobs to survive, some even ask for accommodation from some Nigerians after some time when they get there feet they find there level. Some it takes time to integrate into the system but some e no dey take time they re resilient. There re some things I don't want to say here cos I don't know who is who here make I no spoil things for desperate Nigerians who re trying to find there way out.

US is better organized and have better infrastructure and more inclusiveness and they also have problems peculiar to them but Ghana is easier for manufacturing than the US presently and Apple would rather set up in Ghana than in New York. Generally the principles to make it are the same everywhere and if you can not make it in Nigeria, it won't be possible in the US as well. However don't Japa but follow opportunities. If an American gets a good job offer in Nigeria, he or she will relocate one hundred out of one hundred times. It should be the same with Nigerians. American citizens in Nigeria are said to be up to 300k or so.
who's is talking about infrastructure right here, am talking about a country's system that works. In Nigeria what is working over there absolutely nothing, corruption have eating up the whole place even a new born baby is infected with corruption, the system is corrupt and it will hard for that kind of country to move forward. America has its own problem too no doubt but for we Nigerians here we don't see it as issues. I have American friends that complaint about there government and am like this people no know Wetin dem they enjoy at all, u have good road, work dey, light constant, u have access to loan and mortgage for where I come from we no get half of this things. Now u talk about apple setting up in Ghana than in New York this is because of cheap labour, Americans don't do that, they prefer taking it to other countries like china because labour is cheap. How many American companies in Nigeria pay peanut to there Nigerian staffs in Nigeria non. Yeah like I said I followed opportunity and am here but if u re here u will see the difference because opportunity abounds here. All this epistles I dey write am tired, this is my advice I won't discourage any one from japaying laye, make ur findings about Ur destination and move there in a legit way. I ve seen Nigerians that came here through school and they didn't even attend the school, they just came to hustle I even adviced them they told they have mission that the school package is for them to get out naija, after hustling like craze there status have changed now and they even okay, so its mind set and the spirit to integrate into the system which they have done.

Pls how much did it cost you totally to enter US? And what work are u doing over there that makes u to be fulfilled under 3 years.
I can't be precise on how it's cost me because I came to the US as a child of an American citizen, so it was easier for me to integrate to the system. I got my SSN in less than 2weeks after arrival and I applied for a blue collar job At Richmond times dispatch as an inserter machine operator. Why I said am fulfilled is that my son is with me, I ve my own apartment and a car, my mum has been here in the US several times, my siblings re here though the same package, I ve traveled to many states in the US at least 8 and counting sha what else, massive body transformation I mean fresh and clean. Bros just come the legit thats all what I can say. For the cost I can't really ascertain cos I had a dependent who happens to be my son and it gulped millions of naira though on loan sha.

lol they deceive yourself time will tell. i have cousin there and a brother there my bro been there for more 33 years so. My cousin is there too. it is easier in your 20s than 30s or 40s na my piece of advice so that you can quickly gather enough investment and experience. since u don dey there how many of your people have you taken there since abroad is so rosy. if i ask na your wife and children every other person in your life no concern you. no be so una dey behave. i will jejely remain in Naija even if bread is sold for 4500 .
I won't say too much u people over there no dey calm down and I know say all this talk wey u dey talk nah sakamanje. Yeah it's better to go in your early 20s u re right but never say its not better to go anytime u re wrong about that. It isn't my fault I went in my late 30s , I went in as a single child of an American citizen which means my dad filed for me and he did late thats why I end up entering there at that age. I wasn't married then but I had a child out of wedlock and my child is presently with me. Now if I had married my status would have changed and it will even take longer time. I don't want to be given too much stories because u people don't know how this things works u just just think Nigeria is better than the USA so if someone sees opportunity he should go. When I was in Nigeria I wasn't working for good six years when I lost my job I went through hell before this opportunity came, I thought I was cursed even went for prayers did some crazy job that i know I can't do just to survive, thank God for my family who supported me even with enough talk and downgrading as an eldest child, now I got to the USA and in less that 2weeks I got my SSN and applied for various jobs and I got job this is less than a month after gotten into the us. I got my own apartment, and a my own car, and my son is with me and even invited my mum what else again, o can eat whatever I want to eat, travel to many states in the USA ah, Bros which time wan come tell me now. I just want to live a good life not flamboyant life that we live in Nigeria. Now all this things I mentioned re all necessity of which we don't find in Nigeria. Nigeria is a good place to live but u see our leaders and some devilish people don't want to make things good over there, and I tell people that our leaders re Intentionally Wicked. Bros u wrote something that even if bread is 4,500 naira u will stay in Nigeria, yeah it's Ur choice, everyone has his or her own choices to make, me I won't tell people not to travel, my advice is do a thorough investigation or findings about the country u re going to and go legally and see if things does not fall In place, as I dey hear now say Nigeria don hard pass buhari regime Hahahahaha, Omo God help Una peace.

don't mind this people trying to put people down by polluting there mind set from japaying. Since I left the shores of that country Nigeria I ve never regretted moving to the states. I don't really like commenting on japa issue just because we all think in different directions. As for me in this present Nigeria, I doubt 6m as a good capital for business because there are many negative factors affecting businesses in Nigeria. Meanwhile, if you are in abroad, I mean UK, US that I am sure of and any other good European countries you can make 6m in 4-5 months if you have your papers and ready to hustle ooo. So why don't you just work and gather as much as you can then come back in few years to start that business you are sure of in big. My opinion.
bro I just dey read comments and they observe, I sha know say all this I no go japa nah lies.
