Yes africa will develop...but there is an unsettling thing happening in china today..the automation of their factories..have documentaries about massive automation of manufacturing in china cities..so the idea of a lower cost of production might not work as we expected..

Africa country with adequate infrastructure , sound business policy with a considerable market size will be first to consider. And if you notice , it has started happening . Ethiopia, Nigeria are getting lots of huge Chinese firm. Ghana even with her small market size is also fighting for her share hence the need to have the AfCTA capital . that Is an excellent way to become the gate way of Africa.

True in about ten years time most the world's population would have aged 10 years more than Africa..that mean weaker population which automatically translates to lesser labour and of course stagnate economy cos they would have gotten to their peak...
As a country develops it gets to a point where the market is saturated and they are almost no room for opportunities...any sane investors will chose a virgin land as you said over a saturated market with harsh competition and almost no room to succeed and beat the earliest household name brand....just imagine a new brand of smart phone trying to rival the amount of users over iPhone user in the U.S....that is stupidity...when such investment can be brought to Africa and within a couple of year you become a household name and even erode the presence of this other phone manufacturers here hence competing with them in having more phone users in numbers..
