Ha,brother. grin I had to go after someone admonished me for posting images of starving Kenyan children. And then my girlfriend saw the pictures on my phone and her reaction was something else! And I realized the Kenyans were not really worth our time. Why waste time on the idiots and still sin in the process? grin I felt ashamed of it all. But these Little Indians always ask for it and I don't know how to be here without beating them with those pictures. Just to let them know they got no right to mock any country when they have that big elephant in the room. I mean how can that be in a small country like Little India?
Lol oba the savage...I have really missed your post and online brutality on the animal kingdom...they are scared of you , you know..

Still won't change a thing. It wouldn't stop fulani herdsmen from going on with their killing spree everywhere. It won't stop Niger delta youthe(Edo, Delta and Rivers precisely) from kidnapping themselves (after expatriate has stopped setting business in their region) for ransome. And finally, evans and the other hausa kidnapper are still living large even in supposed detention while their boys are still all lurkin around the highways.

Lagos Urban rail - Blue line (under construction) 35 km (22 mi) blue line (85% completed

Other rail lines

The Completion of the Continuous Beam Bridge for the Sea-Crossing of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit-Blue Line Project in Lagos is part of a broader plan to improve traffic management and transportation in Lagos. Other rail lines on the drawing board are the 68 kilometers – Green Line from Marina through Victoria Island, Lekki Phases 1 and 2, Ajah, Ogombo, Lekki Airport to Lekki Free Trade Zone; the 60 kilometers – Purple Line from the Redemption Camp through Ogba, Iyana Ipaja, Igando and ending at Ojo; and 34 kilometers Yellow Line from Otta through Isheri Osun, Ejigbo Mafoluku, Isolo to National Theater. There is also the 48 kilometers Orange Line from Ikeja crossing through Mile 12, Ikorodu, Alapadi, Eligana, Isiwu, Imota and ending at Agbowa.
Challenges
85 percent of stages I-IV of the Lagos Blue Line Light Rail project are now complete. The completion of the pillar construction effectively means that the most difficult part of the project is now complete. The sea-crossing span had to overcome difficulties from the effects of fluctuating tides and the continuous berthing of oil vessel. The complex topographical state of the seabed and a few episodes of freight boats slamming into the trestle close to the bustling sea route course were other challenges.
CCECC has completed other projects in Nigeria most significant being Lagos-Badagry Highway, Lagos-Ibadan Railway, Lagos Airport Terminal, Lekki Free zone and Blue Line Rail.

Lagos traffic remains one of the most congested in the world and the this project will go a long way in improving the situation.

Sea crossing bridge of the Lagos Blue Line Light Rail project completed (The hardest parts) in Nigeria grin grin grin

-built to launder money
- 60% slums.

IOW a Potemkin city, a theatre stage, a hollow empty creation.
Lol did you just say 60% slum....hahaha dude that would be nairobi...
I know that absence of slum in Abuja, coupled with its world class speedy urbanization which includes better roads than any seen in Kenya, world class light rail, good drainage system, more paved roads than the whole of Kenya, quality housing unit, brt's, and so much, constantly gives you nightmare...I am sorry bro but such is life....Elect good leader that takes infastructures seriously and not that Sonko of a dude who was recently found guilty of a crime or the drug addict and drug lord of a man called Kenyatta who take pleasure in sniffing his cocaine and watching his animal dominated kingdom suffers..

President Muhammadu Buhari will inaugurate eight new coaches and two locomotives for the Abuja-Kaduna train service next January to address the passengers upsurge on the route.

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, made this known when he briefed State House correspondents at the end of the meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, on Wednesday.

The meeting, which lasted for over eight hours, was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that there was an upsurge of passengers on the Abuja-Kaduna train service due to the activities of kidnappers along the Abuja-Kaduna road.

The Abuja-Kaduna road has been described in some quarters as one of the most dangerous road in the country, forcing many passengers to turn to the railway as a safer means of transportation.

However, Mr Amaechi assured passengers plying the route that the additional coaches and locomotives when inaugurated in January would drastically reduce the pressure and hardship being experienced by the passengers.

He said: “On railways, we confirmed to the President that we will be bringing in a DMU, which is diesel engine for Abuja-Kaduna. It will be eight coaches and two locomotives that will drive them. This is to reduce the pressure we have on the Abuja-Kaduna route.

“Like I said before, we provided coaches for only 300 passengers because that’s what the experts told us when we did the research.

“But now we are carrying 3,700 passengers, we are increasing the number of coaches everyday.
“We believe that the President will commission eight new coaches and two new locomotives this January to carry passengers from Abuja to Kaduna and Kaduna back to Abuja.

The minister also announced that the president would be inaugurating the Itakpe – Warri train service between January and April next year.
According to him, everything about the service is ready including workshop, yard, stations and accommodation.

“We also reported that we’ll be ready to commission Itakpe to Warri between January and April, depending on when the President will be available for it. I don’t know how many of you saw a tweet I sent about Agbor at night.

“Everywhere is ready; accomodations, workshop, stations, yard, everything, very beautiful. I can remember someone in Britain asking if it was in Nigeria and I told him it’s in Agbor village.

“We also reported that Lagos to Ibadan (train service) should also be ready for commissioning before April, if the President’s will permit it.

“We’ve commenced trial-run on Lagos to Ibadan. The last time before tomorrow, we ran from Iju to Ibadan, by tomorrow we’ll start running from Agege to Ibadan.

“By the time we return from the holidays, we’ll be running from Ebute-meta to Ibadan.

“We believe that we should have gotten to the seaport before April. This should reduce what you call the Apapa gridlock. We are finding solution to the Apapa gridlock,’’ he added.

On Ibadan-Kano rail project, the minister expressed optimism that the China Exim Bank would in January 2020 approve the loan for the project.

“If they do we expect that work should commence on Ibadan to Kano railway route in January or February next year,’’ he added.

On maritime, Amaechi revealed that his ministry had almost completed the purchase of equipment for maritime security, “the one they call deep blue sea.’’

He expressed the hope that the equipment would enhance the security of the water ways and reduce cases of violent crimes including kidnapping and other insecurity in the waters.

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Mr Timipre Sylva, who also briefed the correspondents, said he reported to the Council the achievements of his ministry in the last 100 days.

He disclosed that the rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt Refinery would commence in Jan. 2020.

He said: “Today, we reported to council that we have achieved at least one of those mandate areas, which is the passage of the deep offshore amendment Act.

“We also reported that work is ongoing on the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) and that hopefully it will be passed into law by June next year.

“We also reported that next year we will open the gas sector and a lot will happen in the gas sector in Nigeria.

“Rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt Refinery will commence in January and hopefully 2020 will be a very busy year for the oil industry in Nigeria.”

Nigeria will collaborate with and support Hyundai Engineering Company Limited to set up a car plant, and also rehabilitate petroleum refineries, President Muhammadu Buhari has said.

Receiving the President/Chief Executive Officer of Hyundai Engineering, Mr Chang Hag Kim, at State House, Abuja, Tuesday, the President said Nigeria was committed to ensuring energy security in the country, “and the goal is to achieve self-sufficiency in the supply of petroleum products within the next three years.”

President Buhari welcomed proposal to set up Hyundai car plant in the country, pledging: “We will collaborate and support to make the investment a reality. ”Mr Hag Kim said Hyundai Engineering Company, which hires about 15,000 engineers and technical staff globally, was willing to contribute to the development of the Nigerian economy.

“We have been building refineries worldwide. We have the biggest in South Korea, with 650, 000 barrels per day capacity. We are also in Venezuela, Iraq, and many other places. We would be glad to contribute our quota in Nigeria,” he said.
