At this point it is hard to take the corrupt Nigerian policymakers seriously. What has helped our economy is the effort of the private sector. It is why Nigeria is Africa's largest economy(sorry Kenyans ) and why it can only get better. But then crumbs from the government can not be waved away too.

Yes we are doing quite well with the private sector but they is more room for improvement....

A new highway is coming to Lagos and it is solely funded by the private...it cost $600m

Sort human efficiency issues..for example have 24 hrs port operations with banks and all office opened...ease of doing things..low hanging fruits..then stop parking trailers in ports and any container a week old is taken to private CFS...don't congest ports and create avenue for theft, thugs and corruption

It only congested because you're using the port as storage...even lekki will get congested unless you work on evacuation..like Mombasa now the containers are unloaded from the ship direct to train and will reach Nairobi and soon Naivasha before the ship can turn in the port.The first container will have traveled 500kms in 10hrs.You have turned your ports into trailer and container park.In Mombasa a truck only enter the port to quickly pick a ready container and exist asap.There is no parking for trailers or containers
