NigeriaIsDoomed:@ bolded This cracked me up ... All the pictures of that building that they have posted from different angle potrayed the road to be in good condition but this videos has blown fowl yansh as you have implied..we can now see the real nairoslum for what it truly is "slum" |
Problemkid1:Then that indices is overcooked as you always preach and as been highly influenced by your corrupt leaders. Seeing is believing, if that nonsense is one of tge best roads in africa then I must say africa is really doomed and so infastructurally underdeveloped as the foreign media always potray it |
NigeriaIsDoomed:Yeye people. Kenyans should never mention city again here. Kazikazi I must say I am a little disappointed that you didn't bring this up earlier, if not who is kenya to compare this with Dar es salaam. I want tylann to come and tell me that nonsense that Tz folks called the renowned nairoslum Europe. Just imagine that utter nonsense |
NigeriaIsDoomed:Have you noticed the taahira has not posted any image if nairsolum ..I guess reality has finally dawn on them.the era of photoshopped over edited images is over, let them face the reality now. Those roads are useless and even togo roads are by far better than that rubbish. Tell.me which cbd in the world houses open gutter, untarred roads and massive filth at its cbd (city centre ) a place for business with international investors. And to think that this is one africas tourist destination makes me wonder what kind of govt they have. Let tylann come and tell me that rubbish again " kenyatta will never allow our infastructure degrade to this level" |
rvp2018:Long story all the roads you have been bragging about ended up useless to me just by watching multiple videos online which potraying you guys as empty barrels. You should not speak when Kigali speaks let alone lagos.. Hahahaha kenyan want to build a road worth $600bn..even America has never spent such amount in single road project. Tell me will this road be made of gold. That figure you stated will not even be your gdp in this century |
Just30:Look I don't care ..I am only talking about this because vaxx decided to butt in a conversation that doesn't concern him.. he said we are known for abandoned project I am trying to.let him no that ghana is not a saint on that such things happens everywhere in the world. If he talks nigeria then he is indirectly saying I should talk ghana. Period |
vaxx:. @bolded I hope you are not trying to deride the importance of the private sector in a country's development. If it is not your govt headache why then did they announced the project side by side with the private sector...surely you are about to question the importance of that appaudable project that would have had a positive impact on not just ghana but the entire continent at large ..what is good is good, don't shift it away because it never came to reality because I am sure you would have done the opposite if it came to fruition. Private sector us the backbone of every govt and a country development. Now let's move to skytrain...Yes skytrain transit on some heavy metal and steel suppeneded in the air. Skytrain can be of two kind , there is one that whose top attaches itself to the beneath part of the steel making it to stand vertically and move just like a cable car suppeded on a cable ..the other one is the type that stands/sit on the suppeded steel rail just like a monorail (same phenomenon applies to the monorail in port harcourt ). Do you know that this sky train barely picks up to 40 passengers at once and when compared to most monorail it's total amount of passengers lift at a goal is the same. And for the records you just told a lie. Skytrain project was announced in 2014 which makes it 5 years so far since the project was abandoned. Check my pic below ![]()
|
rvp2018:You are a very stupid boy..you know what I have just downloaded that picture. That stupid road is not under construction I watched that particular place in that video and even if it is under construction is that the nonsense you want to compare with any nigerian city Road let alone joburg road. I am sure you are now ashamed of you infastructure that's why you posted this finished already in existence road as underconstrution ..by the way speedon was talking about that particular untarred safari looking road that faces PwC tower why paste the low quality road with Sands park at each corner like it's a parking lot. This cbd of yours is a fvcking joke. Just go and keep applauding sonko on is good infastructural job and while you are at it tell me that thing I love most " in 5 yrmear time when we are done with our tatu city we will join joburg and become the capital city of africa with our world class's infastructure nearing that of joburg" ![]() |
vaxx:@bolded you are wrong. Once again leave philosophy behind and face reality ..this is not a college project for you to pass but the reality. Close proximities should be taken into consideration peroid ![]() |
vaxx:It's not an excuse vaxx.if your govt truly wants to harness it private sector they will. As for sky train it been more than three years. Do the math it was announced in 2014 and we are in 2019 that simple arithmetic should tell you it's about 5 years now. The south africa that wants to build a skytrain doesn't even have one except the one for tourist at sun city which is similar to their ravos rails and the monorail at calabar for tourist |
vaxx:. Ain't nothing wrong if you update me. I just felt that I would learn better from vaxx's teaching than google, since you always take the pain to elucidate your point better to your listener for better understanding( I love it when you teach you know) . Don't get me wrong remember it's all about positivity we are in support of every game changing project that takes places in ghana and anywhere else in africa. So pls dont forget to always update us on that or better still we will keep reminding you since you are always busy and might forget ![]() |

gallivant:Don't stylishly tell me to watch that. Quick question is this not nairobi and are this not your roads .Answer yes or NO
|
gallivant:OMG jealous of that. If that is the infastructure you have been bragging about then I must say that is zero. Those roads looks like on ugly village road in enugu. So let me ask again is this your nairobi or is this not the same cbd you been posting |
Still on nairoslum world class infastructure ..... Open gutters everywhere no wonder the cbd always gets flooded during rainy season.if other part of nairoslum is flooded it is still acceptable but not your most important spot which is your cbd
|
Waikayi road ..simply the best road with open gutters at both sides in a world class cbd... Pls guys notice the colour of that poor quality roads. I think nairoslum needs to invest in sanitation most especially at its cbd...if your cbd can not be spotless then I can say the rest of the city and country at large is a filth . Just look at resourcesless Sands staining both sides of the poor quality road
|
Who else is noticing that the road to the PwC tower is not tarred ![]()
|
This is that mind blowing city with its citizen carrying buckets to fetch water at the cbd (parkland road) . Remember this city is heading toward joburg infastructure and when it builds it's 500 tatu housing unit it will become the capital city of africa ![]()
|
Oba, 688 this is what you requested for. Gotham city with world class infastructure. Remember only dew cities in africa beats this city ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiLdPTAKsNg |
mtisTheQubit:So you mean to say this places are your market not your cbd
|
vaxx:@bolded what deal? What about the hope city and sky train ![]() |
vaxx:Proximity is not an excuse you say. What if lagos is under serious crisis today ehh. What then becomes the fate if both port. What if all if lagos port is attacked by pirates what then becomes the fate of the country’s business since it will reply mostly on lagos due to the presence of two massive port. There is nothing wrong in relocating the project elsewhere. Having another massive port in lagos will only increase lagos population since mire jobs wou k d be provided and that will have a serious effect on its infastructures. It's best to take it to other stares so development can spread. A port in ondo can really change the state looks in terms of urbanity |
vaxx:Okay but I was more interested in that chinese industrial city has their negotiations hit any positive conclusion. I figured you must have been in a hurry and probably forgot to update me on that |
vaxx:Hmmm and ghana is known for executing it's project right on time.well this link says otherwise https://mobile.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/School-projects-worth-GHC21m-abandoned-754824 And a perfect case study would be the HOPE CITY project that would have attracted massive investment from all corners of the earth into the country ghana. That project would have made ghana sit and drive africa technology for just a sum of $1.2bn and 3 years completion date. Another example would also be that sky train project that was announced since 2014 but 5 years down the line you have absolutely nothing to show for it except another postponeded or should I say pipeline promise .Another example would have also been accra marine drive which was announced in the he 1900s to change the country’s tourism atmosphere but over forty years down the line all you have has been one postponement or the other. I thought your president said December but shifted it to June and now we are in july with nothing to show for except a wet pipe dream. Remember you said anyone that doesn't consider tourism serious and profitable is a fool ![]() |
theenchanter:Thank you for this link as well , trust me it is highly helpful. As for vaxx I have come to understand that is argument is always based on philosophy as he is used to question what is actually In existence. It's is nature ![]() |
vaxx:So in conclusion you are saying that they are all in their pipeline stage, if yes then I must say you are greatly misinformed. I don't know that we have to throw some serious celebratory party in ghana so you can been informed on its progress ![]() Arguing with you on something that ia actually in progress is pointless and dosent change reality . Speaking of pipeline project why not update on your mps tema port project that is suppose to commence two weeks prior to the time you brought that news here...oooohhh and of course that wonderful project I love so much , I mean that chinese $20bn industrial city that will be a game changer. C remember they were negotiating then and must have concluded by now..you must have forgotten to update us so I thought it wise to remind yoy |
Haha hahaha vaxx this goes to you. I must say i wanted to reply you but then I watched my fellow compatriot break it down to you for better understanding. I know you want that ghana mps to still retain it illusory title but I am sorry it may need to go through lekki alone before venturing to the rest Like it or not ibom deepseaport is under construction and as for that lie you claimed I told about badagry deepseaport being in close proximity with lekki deepseaport open this link and see the various reasons behind it getting cancelled by HADIZA . T https://www.pressreader.com/nigeria/business-a-m/20190708/281895889803127 That screenshot you gave theenchanter is archaic. .it from 24th of June 2019 while this link is just 4 days old and was 3 days old yesterday when I consulted it Thank God forgiveness has showed you the ondo deepseaport plan As for warri deepseaport federal govt has already approved $3.9bn for that so I don't know you are talking about |

wow a 45 minute cable-light rail from lagos - abuja at an average of 150km/hr with a capacity of 590km/hr....That's like a 12 hour journey on road. Pls you guys should start this project already so the Kenyans will never sing or speak infastructure near us again ![]() Plans underway to launch Cable Light Rail in Lagos, Abuja L-R: Head Organization and Communication Department, Sky Way Capital, Kristiaan Van Den Vyver; Member, Skyway Capital Board, Veadimie Masles; Partner and Keynote Speaker, Comrade Ayodele Adewale and Member of the Board Leadership, Skyway Capital, Frantisek Solar, during the first International Conference and introduction of Skyway capital cable transportation’s, in Lagos on Friday. By Kazeem Ugbodaga Work is in the pipeline for a multi-billion naira Hi-Tech Cable light rail transportation project to debut in Nigeria, as passengers will be able to commute between Lagos and Abuja within 45 minutes. The project will help solve the problems of traffic gridlock within the Lagos metropolis and ensure easy movement of people and goods between the city and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The fast Cable light rail project will cover the distance between Lagos and Abuja in 45 minutes at an average of 150km per hour but has capacity for 500km per hour. While speaking at a gathering in Lagos to sensitive members of the public on the project, in Ikeja, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, the Regional Head of Sky Way Capital, Mr. Samson Arogundade said the fast track Transport system was carefully designed to assist government in alleviating the sufferings of the people in moving from one point to another. According to him, the company was fully committed, possessed the technical know how and financial capability to deliver the project in no time so long it enjoyed support and cooperation of Lagos and Federal Governments. On his part, a member of Board of the company, Vladimir Maslov disclosed that they were ready to sign an agreement with the Federal and Lagos State Government to signal the take off of the fast track transportation project. On some of the benefits inherent in the project, Vladimir Maslov said it would reduce the rate at which commuters were exposed to accident on the road, zero tolerance for pollution and maximum security of lives and property of passengers. Another member of the Sky Way Capital, Frantishek Solar, the group was ready to partner with government, as it had the financial wherewithal to drive the project in Nigeria and that it was just for the government to provide the enabling environment for the project. Solar stated that the project would help to solve energy problem of Nigeria, as it was pollution-free and would help in greening the environment. According to him, the project was less accident free, no pollution, have full electricity, would not need land to start and could help in conveying goods from one place to another. The Nigerian partner for the Project, Ayodele Adewale, said the project would largely assist government’s drive in boosting infrastructures in the country. According to him, “I believe there is the need for government to provide incentives for the company to move in their equipment because the project after its implementation will be a win-win situation for both parties. The former council boss, however, said the company was not averse to financial support from government despite having all it takes to actualize the project. He explained that since it generated its own power, this would provide illumination along its corridor in communities around its routes. Adewale was also of the view that the project would boost tourism since it would allow Nigerians to have aerial view of beautiful landscape of the country. He added that the project represented a technology that would complement and optimise a modern transport infrastructure; provide a fast and efficient means of travel via its eco-string technology which is suspended 5-6 meters above the ground. “The project will provide both metro and cargo systems that is 3-4 times cheaper than the usual railways, and can be constructed in any terrain and in all weather conditions. It will also aid mobility, reducing traffic congestion, easing distribution for industries, reducing cost of production and enhancing global competitiveness. “The technology generates its own energy which can also be used to power surrounding communities and facilities. It is a technology that has no recourse to government funding except if government decide to get involve but will be supported by private investment, using local resources (steel) and manpower, thus creating employment in the country,” Adewale explained. Infastructure! Infastructure!! Infastructure!!!..countries that wants to compete will cry.remember we are not borrowing from the chinese to fund it. This is what we do with our tiny federal govt budget ![]() Warri seaport: Nigerian Govt. approves $3.9bn Tuesday, May 7, 2019 9:41 pm Amaechi, APC leader in Rivers The Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, said the federal government has approved the construction for Warri seaport at the cost of about 3.9 billion dollars and also awarded the contract for Abuja-Warri rail line. Amaechi on Tuesday in Abuja that government also approved the linking of Abuja to Itakpe, Itakpe-Warri, then from Warri rail to the seaport. “The President awarded the contract for Abuja to Warri, Abuja to Itakpe, then to Warri. From Warri rail to the seaport. We are building a new seaport in Warri, the cabinet approved it last week, that is about 3.9 billion dollars,” he said. He, however, said that about 45 billion dollars was needed to complete rail development in the country. He said that once Lagos-Kano, Port Harcourt-Maiduguri, Lagos-Calabar and Abuja-Warri rail lines were constructed, the rail would have covered the country. According to him, the government has not spent over 3 billion dollars so far on all the ongoing projects. “The Lagos-Ibadan will cost about 1.6 billion dollars, that doesn’t include the extra cost of things we didn’t prepare for or see in the evaluation; Abuja-Kaduna was constructed with about a billion dollars. “We also paid 500 million dollars to buy locomotives and rolling stocks for Lagos-Ibadan, I can’t remember how much we spent buying rolling stocks for Kaduna-Abuja, that is what we have spent so far. “So all the noise that you hear people saying we have spent 8 points something billion dollars is not true. I don’t think we have spent up to three billion dollars so far. Railway is capital intensive, a trillion naira is about 2.7 billion dollars. “And that is for 200km of railway if you plan to do Lagos-Ibadan and you are looking at 8.7billion dollars that is between 3 and 4 trillion Naira. That is why I said we will need about 35 to 45 billion dollars. “To be able to do Lagos-Kano, Port Harcourt-Maiduguri, Lagos-Calabar and Abuja-Warri, once we do this four tracks, we have covered the country and we have solved the problems of transportation to a great extent.” SUGGESTED NEWSMgid |
