I can see it destabilized the little indians. They've been quiet for a while now. But trust them to come back with a vengeance.

But then, this is what we have said for years, Kenya is little beyond Nairobi. What you see displayed by kenyans is just a shiny façade hiding a mud and rotting structure behind it. Whereas countries like Nigeria have open forums where they discuss their problems, Kenya hides its own problems behind fake figures and content with what's going on.

There's no way you can compare Kenya with Ghana or Nigeria. They admitted Ghana was better than Kenya on the other thread. I don't know why the Ghanaians are still arguing with them. If I were a Ghanaian I would just dig out such posts and fling it at them anytime they write nonsense.

Nigeria has got serious problems that look so intractable. At times I wonder how we got here but I look at the structure and especially our northern problem and make a kind of meaning out of it all.

But I just can't make any meaning out of Kenya's myriad of problems. They're small and so indebted. They have more than enough land mass for their population yet the slums keep growing. They have land yet starve. They're relatively peaceful yet the economy remains so small.
And I don't understand how the kenyattas have been able to pocket the country for so long.

But to be honest, I like the longsuffering contentment of the masses of Kenya. They hardly talk I'll of their country. And I like what the Europeans have done with wildlife and nature in Kenya and East Africa. Lastly I also like what they've done with power supply. At least they ensure Nairobi has a good supply. But Kenya can be a lot better if the people are more daring.

Truer words cannot be said.let them bring on their vengeful comeback ,I will be here waiting.

Why are we still arguing with this zoo.All my life I have always relegated the name Kenya to a backwater state filled with animals and I was never wrong. More of the crazy backwater zoo malindi. The more I dig deeper the more I get angry that this argument lasted more than 10 minutes talk more of a year. Northern Nigeria is more developed than the whole of Kenya save for Nairobi. You can imagine the level of insult we have to endure everyday when citizen from this backwater zoo with barely any infrastructure wake up to compare after cherry-picking a few road.this entire zoo need serious infrastructural reforms. I repeat Nigeria is not on this level,maybe 3 decades ago we where here. We keep quiet a lot and take their stupid shiit.

Kenya is a tiny nation when it comes to development, they only have Nairobi(CBD,upperhil and Westland), and may be some tiny parts of old Mombasa CBD, nakuru, kisumu are all slums according to Nigeria standard ,they only develop the tiny parts of the cities(mostly around the CBDs.
The northern and Eastern counties are nothing to write home about.
Mandera, Samburu, Busia and Garissa Marsabit, Wajir, Tana River, West Pokot , Isiolo and all other counties outside the few tiny areas mentioned above Have high poverty rates . Just search these cities(slums) on YouTube

Thanks for this information,but I don’t think Kenya there is anything remotely closely to the third world urbanization of Nairobi 3 cbd’s in other parts of the country,it’s all slum for lack of a better word.
Fir stance this tiny dots of kisumu is not development,it’s just an organization of local shops for vegetables and maize on both sides of the road.I call this an organized market not a cbd. Atleast it’s better than their numerous open air market. It’s the same occurrence in places like Nakuru and the rest. I will walk this entire dot in 3 minutes.

They're the last group of people to point fingers.
You can sum them up with the way they're almost always starving, indebted and crammed into slums, tiny spaces while Indians, settlers and corrupt politicians occupy vast spaces.

Ask them to post a list of their richest people and you are going to see politicians and Indians and corrupt politicians.

Nigeria has serious problems but then Nigeria is such a fractious country with a crazy population and insurgency up north. Yet little India with just 50m people is clearly doing worse than Nigeria.

I keep saying it: you can't have such a tiny economy and continue to be so corrupt and lacking in creativity to build businesses, leaving almost everything in the hands of Indians and settlers.

I oftentimes wonder what this little Indians wants us to learn from them that has kept them 5 years here and still counting.I would have said tourism but we long surpassed them in traffic,so really there is t anything.
