Ive been battling with choosing between Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A.

I am not so concerned about the difference as regards the fingerprint processor.

My battle was between the two as regards the Ram & Rom size.

both have different variants in terms of ram and Rom... Redmi 8a is a good budget phone, got it for only 35k on jumia but its as if i cheated them..

the major difference btw the two is that, redmi 8a doesnt have fingerprint sensor. Aside that they have almost similar spec.. I use redmi 8a, and i can boldly tell u i have no regret, very good phone, battery is top notch..

I started thinking of how to sell the phone and buy another one when it paused, then I went to sleep and it was done when I woke up. Redmi 8a is a beastly device, I must say. yes the glo 4g is very good here.. all the games have played since I bought it on the 4th of this month, no one hang.. I have played eisenhorn, tales of two brother, Gangstar Vegas, tales of borderland, life is strange and farenheit indigo no one hang ohh.. these games have large files

I don do am ohhh.. miui 11 now on my redmi 8A, my heart nearly skip when the update paused at 90.46% while it was rebooting.. my battery is working fine.. genius43 u do well.. I have to say redmi 8A is a good device ohh, I no too get money I for upgrade, but still buying this phone was one of my best decision in 2019.. mtn 4g works, glo 4g works, Airtel 4g works Wetin sef.. The battery let me not go there.. I am enjoying my ppsspp and it's working smoothly

Another game that is going smoothly on my redmi 8a is the real steal game. On my last Nokia 3.2 (2gb ram, 16gb rom) the game frustrated me. But the redmi 8a is like a smooth operator.

Got new version update on my redmi 8 upto 1.7gb. Someone said told to use WiFi but I decided to use my glo. The speed of glo was amazing. I discover how glo is now doing 100N for 1gb midnight data from 12am to 5am and it would last for 5days. You can even sub go as much as you want.

hello house... I can't make call on my mtn line for a while now, I keep seeing this "no signal".. but my data connection is still strong at 4g..
