rvp2018:Nairobi is backward by all ramifications stick to that Its below the pecking order of city infrastructure I can tell you this a thousand times |
rvp2018:police that were coward to curtail 4 terrorist |
rvp20182:You little Indian nairaland has made you to engage Nigerians, you've been privileged to talk to Nigerians I dare not compare Lagos with slumish Nairobi Ask you government and see their opinion The truth feels bitter to you all When Nigeria has been having Ancient cities like Benin city,Lagos, calabar, plateau, kano,Kaduna etc you were still hanging unclad in the trees, prostrating for your white lords. Just see Lagos projects and yet you rant blatant, beautiful nonsense Stick to Nairobi/Kenya and not Nairobi/Africa I say severally that Nairobi suffers set back. What can you show in Nairobi, skyscraper, thikard highway or what Now give me any reasonable construction ongoing in Nairobi that will come close to Lagos I bet you will show me skyscrapers and the regular recycled CBD pictures and a white neighborhood estate,Karen Go get a rethink and erase that hope from your mind You're working for seun to maintain traffic and nothing more |
Jonraid:see little Indian fool calling me Muppet. Do you reason with your nose, you ugly looking little - indian kid Are you trying to lecture me about Environmental issues. Besides which Nigerian pays attention to Nairobi; D Why are you running away from the truth,Nairobi isn't a business city. Its quite obvious when you see drone. A real geographer won't find it so hard to see Nairobi's development by landmass You lack the mental and intellectual ego to engage me in arguments. Lagos shows you what they call a real developed city I sometimes wonder why we Nigerians belittle Africa's largest city to rub shoulders with one so called tourist city The truth ravages your system |
TayserMahri:And you aren't ashamed to post this The dussit hotel attack is still fresh like a ripe tomato, the west gate mall attack still there and this again Kenya is an unsafe country |
Kenyans have no meaningful investment or business or building, they don't care if they are enslaved, as long as you erect a structure in the CBD.They can go naked around the streets to sing for joy Kenya is known for tea farming, mostly done by Asians and their wildlife and horticulture, that's why they occupy most of their land with trees,in order to cover up for not being able to develop it |
tylann:and I have seen pics of a city owned and managed by foreigners who control the best part andverect their structure to impress keyan gov, thereby subjecting unreasonable Kenyans like you to modern slavery It should give you sleepless night that your Nairobi, your said capital houses 4 of the worlds biggest slums in the world, its quite disturbing |
.
|
Why don't you come out of the dust and face me you lazy kibera explorers Imagine this one saying I'm 15 years Isn't it supposed to give you sleepless night if a 15 yr old boy can bring you to your kneels You've all been told the bitter truth, hence you are hiding in the trees to recamp and reinforce yourselves for more propaganda
|
Lagos popular buildings can never be seen together
|
Land mass+development
|
NairobiWalker:I have known your brutality, sstupidity, your depression long before I registers on nairaland, when I was visiting this thread You have nothing Paramount to offer Quit this forum and go rest in a place You seem to be giving up |
I can post 100 pics of lagos from different angles That's development Our kibera brothers wouldn't try that The wide development cancan be seen with the wide landmass
|
Lagos aerial view shows all round development everywhere
|
See calabar city Ikoyi,Lagos would be mistaken for a CBD because only their CBDs have few nice buildings
|
NairobiWalker:Don't prolong this You mean EAC built by our banks + the gov and Lebanese is only built by a Lebanese Do you think he isn't a Nigerian So Nairobi has a modern CBD with tiny roads,no brt system, poor planning etc and you boast of itLagos island CBD and Victoria island CBD and even Ikeja CBD are better planned with wide roads, proper drainage systems, side walks etc Ignorance is surely a disease Now see Lagos CBDS for yourself Ikeja,VI,Lagos island The whole VI is too big for a CBD that there are still largely of the landmass available for construction Me posting lekki ,Ikoyi, yaba, surulere etc will make you feel they are CBDS
|
dadark:what's the subject or the main point from the map |
NairobiWalker:Now stop being a fool by asking me what the tallest building in Nairobi is,because I care less. Even though its 88 floors ![]() I care lessI have discovered and read about modern colonialism and how Kikuyu's were baned from accessing the CBD,how you complain of whites taking away your land for tea.farming.Stop being coward by bringing in kazikazi Your development is only about buildings Tell me that black aboriginal Kenyans and not one kenyan-indian or kenyan- chinese that owns just 30% of CBD buildings. This is the obvious and not what you can hide.If not for some FDIs,Kenyans might have nothing to show for Now tell me any white mans build in lagos, since you know more ....I am wating |
dadark:you should checkout pics of riverside Buildings there could be counted, maybe because they are too poor to buy land Moreover, the trees that were supposed to be maintained have suddenly grown into being a thick forest |
gallivant:yes Because I am capable of sending you to your kibera slums Now I didn't conclude about the ownership of buildings and businesses, they are real facts |
NairobiWalker:don't use questions to cover my question Who owns those buildings and what is your obsession with buildings as development |
Jonraid:I told you to tell me why Abk has some 24th century project Nairobi can't offer you mean 14 riverside that turned to an action film recently Now why are buildings too few there, simply because there is nothing on ground to build. You can't have about 80% of land for greeneries and tell me you are conserving the atmosphere. ![]() |
Jonraid:Try to maintain stability when arguing with me A ranking can be done by anybody, tell me what the ranking was based on and who did the research So meaning Nairobi is dynamic than the other hundreds of developed cities of the world You are giving yourselves hope ![]() ![]() Maybe the bushes and the forests ![]() You can admit this but When UN said you host and anchor 4 of the worlds biggest slums( very disturbing ), you are always quick to distant your Nairobi away from the truth A city can't be developed when its suburbs look like a dead zone without any trace of development |
Jonraid:Don't pretend and rise up to the challenge ABK has a light rail, a city centre,a BRT system etc Give excuses for Nairobi's total failure |
Jonraid:Let me answer you before I go face your boss What the heck, dynamic what........ Handful of what, when Dangote refinery will start this year Now tell me any meaningful project in Nairobi, do you think we are fools . Lagos mainland alone handles several transport and housing infrastructural project Isn't it worrisome that Nairobi has 4 out of the worlds biggest slum Every good thing you find in a developed city,Nairobi lacks, except for showcasing your horticultural outputs by planting bushes in the name of Forests, having Chinese buildings, having matatus, your billion ksh spent on your said CCTV was a waste of money,No BRT,no modern bus stops etc ,no planned city from the scratch,CBD roads are as tiny as the way to heaven show us the backward project of Monza slumpolis, where is the proposed city by the Kenyatta family It obvious there is nothing on going in Nairobi, except for investors erecting their buildings in the CBD Go and prepare very well before you come for me I am off to brutalize your master |
Jonraid:An acient city like Abeokuta has a light rail under construction It has a modern city centre under construction it has a BRT system, what looks like rocket science in Nairobi What else do you have to say Nairobi is too shitty Your government impresses only tourist, that's why few parts like Westland, upper hill,Eastleigh, Riverside are only developed Now let me dive in Only Nairobi small CBD has about 90% of Nairobi's meaningful building What you find in other places like riverside are just bush that you call greenery with few, scanty buildings |
rvp2018:You are even contradicting yourself Let me pretend Lagos has 38 Lagos has 38 and EAC has 8 = 46 And why don't you bring height into consideration, you are afraid Many buildings are under construction in Lagos that are not listed, the LFT zone will have skyscraper/s ,the imperial international business city, the lekki smart city the EAC will have more than a thousand high rises, the Orange island, Diamond island, pewrinkle island etc are all there. Now tell me when VI was created and calculate its massive rapid developmental changes. Take a look at this building in LFT zone, I can assure it isn't among the skyscrapers High rises are in Lagos mainland CBD,Ikeja and places like Surulere,Apapa,Yaba etc. How can you think a CBD city like Nairobi can compete with Africa's largest city Now tell me Lagos isn't Africas largest city Nairobi is a lord in Kenya and not in Africa
|
Kazikazi:That's a billion dollar question they won't answer in the next decade I see Chinese languages on Kenyan buildings and they argue it is owned by them Black Kenyans own less than 20% businesses and buildings in Nairobi CBD |
rvp2018:you are an emblem and an epitome of total failure. Forgiveness schooled you about the total no of floors in Nairobi with Lagos. What of the ones in EAC,what of the ones under construction I wouldn't want to introduce arguments on that again because even on completion of the EAC ,it will have tall buildings than the whole Kenya Look at the last pics I posted ,thats a section of Banana island, a residential estate in ikoyi Every picture of the island has different buildings with different views of buildings and not like the regular Recycled old Nairobi CBD pics Learn to reason before exuding futile, baseless talks They gave you a post of having the worlds biggest slum, isn't that something to celebrate and you are here pushing to Kinshasa, Lagos,Dar esalam |
rvp2018:you are an emblem and an epitome of total failure. Forgiveness schooled you about the total no of floors in Nairobi with Lagos. Kur17:Not your master would want to compete in this context. Lagos alone has more skyscrapers and high rises than Nairobi If I post 10 pics of Lagos,I tell you they are totally apart from each other. All Nairobi buildings are packed together in any tiny place (CBD) I posted different versions of cities in Lagos and not a tiny portion. I van show 50 pics of the island and you wouldn't site any popular building looking closer or near at all. Now calculate the total land mass of the island and calculate the total of Nairobi's two CBD and let me continue All pics you posted,I can tell you that they are not too far or that they are the same place ,which is the CBD. I don't think Victoria island or Lagos island CBDs were showcased in what I posted So if I show you ikoyi and you see buildings like 20 stories, just don't think its a CBD Lekki as developed as it is isn't a CBD but you still see high rises Not everywhere in VI is considered CBD and yet you still see tall buildings around All Lagos Skyscrapers and high rises are not concentrated on a Particular spot like filthy Nairobi Look at those pics very well,Lagos tall buildings can't be found together. The whole island is still under huge development for skyscrapers and high rises. Meaning Lagos skyline will be massive and crazy and virtually the whole island will be tall as heaven see example

with tiny roads,no brt system, poor planning etc and you boast of it
