I can't charge it unless I switch it off.

if I want to charge it while it is on, I need to tinker with some settings under hardware testing in engineer mode.

if I take pictures with it, the phone just goes off.

computer says the device is unrecognized whenever I connect it to pc.

what could be the problem and how can i resolve it?
