Excellent article and promising opportunity. Unfortunately, many who have never leave the village before will say " ordinary Rwanda" instead of wasting money going to the Benin Republic a French-speaking to study, Rwanda is a good choice. While some will say, they can only go UK & USA , even when they can't afford UK fees. Rwanda is far conducive for learning than Nigeria. How many International students do you see in Nigerian Universities? Most Nigerian universities are still struggling with internet access. |

A good spouse is a gift from God; a horrible spouse is a trap from the devil. If you are single, be wise, be careful and ask your maker to direct your choice. A terrible spouse will ruin your life. |

Immediately I finished reading this topic. I will break up with her mentally. You got it wrong. A bad person is a bad person irrespective of single home or both parents' stuff. Use your brain when you read on naira land, some people will use their problem to confuse you. The OP was carried away with beauty & facial look; he ignores the character aspect. |

@TMK your government is trying though they can do better. South African democracy is a progressive one compare to Nigeria. Nigerian government does not give such compensation; even if they try to, one politician will take away the money. |

Even when I started working least salary I would have accepted is 60k the least salary for you was 60k because you have family back up or other back up . for someone whose family is in the village and he is the firstborn, staying jobless can be disastrous for the person. It is always good to start somewhere. Someone whose parents are feeding him may reject a 50k offer , but if you have no one to support you, common sense will tell you to take 50k for a start. Idleness kill self-esteem |

Ade3131: What are the chances of getting a South African visa with an invitation letter? Who is inviting you matters a lot. Citizens with proof of income invitation letters have high priority. Permanent residence invitation with evidence of income makes sense also. Lastly, the holder of a work visa can also invite you. Above all, you must show proof that you are employed or engaged in meaningful activities in Nigeria. |

klexyl: please, they denied my study visa application yesterday and the only reason is insufficient fund for the trip, however it was suppose to be a fully funded programme which was stated clearly on the letter by my supervisor. I want to appeal the decision as I can't afford to reapply because of time. please what are the processes to go through when appealing? thanks in anticipation. Let your supervisor state clearly what the funding covers. Is it accommodation only or monthly stipend or tuition waiver. More importantly , submit your balance statement with the scholarship letter. If you don't have much money in your account , look for someone to act as a sponsor ( sponsor write a letter stating that he will sponsor you , attached bank statement and proof of identification ). Above all, apply again. Do not appeal. Often time, an appeal may take a longer time. When you apply state clearly that your first application was rejected based............. And you have addressed the reasons. for rejection |
