influential01: @typop what the guy post is right due what happens to my colleague at work. He Apply for SA visa twice to visit his sister in SA, he got refused. And he later seek advice from a guy who let him knws that there is fasttrack that you pay amount of 60k. As he apply in January this true fasttrack he got his visa in the next 5days. Same apply to my boss last year. He usually travels to Uk,US frequently and his family was denied SA visa. bros... He is not right .He said" you can't get visa without trusted agent" .I 'm not disputing the issue of money exchanging hands between applicants and corrupt staff of the embassy but the bottom line is PEOPLE STILL GET VISA WITHOUT PAYING THAT 60k. .SA visa is getting harder to get because of past antecedent of Nigerians who over stayed. So any minor mistake in documentation/filling of form on the part of applicant will result to denial even if he or she has visited US,Canada and UK before .I stated earlier my family member visited me without paying any amount without any link .We only guide her in filling the forms by herself .I can recall also a member of this forum got visitor's Visa for a conference without paying for the so called fast tracking" and we chatted when he came,,he went back to Nigeria last week after the conference .For instance, someone applied for visa to attend a conference and the letter issued by the organizers is not signed and you want embassy to grant visa? However atimes they make stupid mistakes denying genuine and qualify applicants .Many factors can cause Visa denial(SA Embassy only ) I will state these factors when am less busy . |

TYPOP: @Samtol4, where are you? Did you see this? LOL.
ATTENTION everyone, this is not true. Check the bolded part (I made it bold for emphasis). Ask all the people who have been coming back here to say thank you whether they paid a dime to any agent.
We preach Do It Yourself (DIY) on this thread.
Peace. The guy is a joke of the century .I replied him like a gentleman waiting for his response. |

ololo12: Yes, they have a record of your visa and information on their system. However, that won't stop them from giving you a visa if you use a trusted agent who has links to the embassy people. SA embassy hardly issue visitors visa, unless you go through an agent who has link with them. are u now the trusted Agent?bros stop this lie .hahhahaah you are a joke .You mean if someone don't have a link no visa ?Don't come here and pollute this thread. Infact last week a family member visited me and she never use any agent trusted or untrusted ......She did everything by herself and got the visitor's visa without any so call link . |

Growingboi: thank you samtol4.
but will the immigration accept 'pay on arrival stuff'? cox someone told me that hotel must be booked and paid for before they will grant your pass into s.a. Secondly, if one is spending two weeks and just pay for a night because he has where to stay. wont they think something is fishing and deport one? Capital NO sir .you book one night because the hotel may not b up to your standard that is execuse you give and you may change to bigger ones .They don't expect you to pay full Nights when you don't even know the quality of the hotel .I have seen instances where someone was sent back because of "pay on arrival ".However someone can be fortunate to scale through without paying hotel . |

Deborah1900: hi all. Please I'm going to sa for 2 weeks . I made a reservation with an hotel for 1 week although they didn't charge me cos I offered to pay on arrival but I gave them my credit card details and they are liable to charge full payment incase of any cancellation. I have printed the statement and cancelled the reservation cos I'm staying with family amyway... my question is will immigration call to confirm ? my friends from London did the same thing although immigration didn't call to confirm but you know when it comes to nigerians immigration officers everywhere normally scrutinise us... so please if you have travelled to sa recently from Nigeria .... kindly Help me confirm if immigration officers in sa called your hotel to confirm the booking. ........ if that's the case I won't have to cancel a fresh booking but my card would be charged if there is a no show. .... the hotel is almost 110k for 1 week as I was told to book at least one week cos of immigration although I'm trying for a hotel that will charge 50% if immigration actually confirms but let me know if they usually call. .. Cheers. The immigration can be unpredictable atimes .If you staying with a family get their proof of accommodation incase immigration officer on duty decide to ask where will you stay .If you cancel your reservation and immigration officer on duty call the hotel manager to verify you wil be deported instantly .SOLUTION get proof of accommodation of your family or pay 1night .Most hotel owners are lamenting that Nigerians don't use their hotels but only book(pay on arrival stuff)and never show up .It is against this background immigration department started this verification by calling hotel managers . |

dakillmaster: Hello nairalanders, I applied for an 8 day visa to attend a conference in capetown at the lagos office, and after a 3 week processibg timea I was refused a visa because 'the conference invitation letter was not signed'..i have gotten across to the conference organisers who have resent a signed letter. Can I resend my documents immediately(next day) for reapplication?..can I also go to the vfs centre in Abuja which I hear is apparently faster with their visa processing and will it affect my visa processing. Any timely response will be appreciated. Thank you .it is negligence on your part to submit an invitational letter without signature .However get a supporting letter from the organizers stating that the first letter issued without signature was mistake from them and the Embassy/Consular should consider your re application with signed letter .You can submit immediately since the reason for denial was based on unsigned letter not fake or questionable documents. |

drealsheggs: Hello All, please does anyone have an idea, if it is possible for someone to forward is school result I.e O'level or A'level result to SAQA in south Africa for result evaluation before Applying to schools over there or it is after the person had applied to the school that he/she can then send the result to SAQA for evaluation? for undergraduate you apply for HESA not saqa ,some schools give admission before HESA evaluation process is completed (University of Capetown and Monash university ).They also facilitate the evaluation process meaning that you can get admission to these schools without HESA but they give 1year for you to get it done. However most schools demand you get your evaluation done before applying for their undergraduate courses. |

Hello all, please for a married person that wants to apply for a Critical Skills Visa, is it compulsory that the accompanying spouse (d wife in this instance) submits her application for spousal/dependant visa at the same time?
If no, is it advisable she does so or does filing for it after the husband might have received his work permit (and/or emigrated to SA) diminish her chances of being granted the visa? Thanks in advance for your kind responses You must have your critical work permit ist before your wife apply for accompany visa, however there is still possibility that your application MAY be rejected because work permit is not evidence of you being employed .They want to see how you will sustain your wife (accompany visa applicant). |
