@ poster, i wonder why u r suddenly acting like a saint. I decided to check your profile before replying to this post and I realised that u r nt a saint either on a number of occassions, u gave ur mobile no freely to people especially females promising to have sex with them. I rily wont go into so many details here. I tink everyone who has posted a reply here shld look at your profile and read ur previous posts on other threads and then determine the kind of person u rily are.

I would say Msc first if you are travelling abroad. Cuz wen u come back u can DICTATE the State where u would like to serve. On the other hand you can decide to serve first and hope you will be posted to a remote place where you will have ample time to still go abroad for ur MSc and come back to Nigeria during passing out.

To convert a CV in ms word to PDF, I guess there are two options:

The first is to open the document
Click on file,
Click on print and select printer.
Instead of selecting a printer name , Search for cute PDF and click and you will have a PDF document which you have to save again.

The second is to print the word document and scan the hard copy as a PDF document.

Op this helps. Though u need to install a converter if you want to use the first option.

In any case it happened to me once although it was office money. I was once sent by our office to draw 35,000+ naira from Credit Lyonnais bank down the road in 1998. The cashier wrongly paid 53,000+ (maybe she read the figures the opposite way). I did not even count but took it straight to the office and handed it over to the cashier.

Its funny that when d money is returned one hardly gets a thank you in return. On the day I passed out from the NYSC scheme, My State Govt. gave us 8k each but with bank deductions we were to be paid about 7500.

We had a very long queue and when it was my turn I was overpaid twice. The first time the lady paid me above 8k, I gave her back all d money to recount. She realised her error but she didnt show any appreciation. The second time she paid me exactly 8k. I told her n she only removed d excess n started attending to d next person.

I actually felt bad. But I am sure I will still return any excess paid to me by any cashier.

I would say that u shld lay emphasis on a desire to b a part of the coy by taking their offer of employment and that u intend to grow and have roots in the company. U cld tell them that u hv plans to have an MBA or Msc so that u can b better equipped for d job they will offer you. Though u hv to let it b known that ur plans to hv an MBA wont conflict wit ur job. You cld say that it will b on part time basis. Besides u cld tell them u hv made enquiries concerning wen sales of entry forms wld commence and ur lectures would hold only during weekends. U cld tell them abt professional certifications too. Dont 4get 2 mention that you also intend to get married and start a family of ur own.

I worked with Nestle for 5 months after my graduation. I left because I had to go for my Youth Service. I'm still trying hard to get another placement with them. A whole lot of things work right at Nestle. They have very sound HR practice. I'm currently working in a Telecoms coy n I kip comparing their HR wit Nestle. U r sure of regular Training (both on the job and off the job). If u now your onions well, u will get steady promotion. Another beautiful thing about Nestle is that u could change your career path once you get an additional academic qualification. I know two people in Nestle that came in as Secretaries but are now Human Resources Officers. There is another who came in as a Sales Rep. but has now bn moved to the Management Accounts Dept. Their Salary too isnt bad.

Though I know very little abt Oceanic Bank. But I can tell that Nestle has a lot more to offer u.

If u stay 4 abt 2 to 4 years, u wld earn promotion along the way and then u can move to the Oil and Gas or Telecoms Industry. AL D BEST!
