I've read several comments, but this right here is the dumbest of all that I've read so far. Some times, silence is a good way to defend your government/party.

My few solutions
1. The Govt agency responsible as to step in.
I still see no reason why the government agencies that are regulators sit at the office everyday. They should be out for assessment every day. They can structure as teams, location, days, time, etc. There are so many companies with NAFDAC REG. NO. that NAFDAC has never gone there to inspect physically.
If you see where they produce or store some water and other drinks sold in the market today, you would be marveled! Some factories will produce and leave the water out in the sun until the truck comes to load it because they don't have a storage facility.


2. Repackaging
I think companies that are serious should start researching better and safer ways of packaging water. It does not have to be a soft sachet nylon and fragile plastic water packaging forever. It's time to think of other eco-friendly and healthier packaging options.


3. Clean government water and tap to mouth consumption.
I mentioned this a while ago. The Water Corporation is needed again. They can manage the supply of clean water, and flood management better than any other solution residents do in isolation.

Imagine having access to clean tap water, you can run your tap and drink safely from it. It's left to you to wash your storage tanks clean.

If these are too much for the government, individuals/private sectors can step in. After all, some individuals sell water to cart pushers already. They only need to restructure and step up.


Research has shown that there are other causes of cancer beyond just the quality of the drinking water.
The type of pot/pan, the materials used in cooking e.g. cooking moi-moi in plastic or nylon, using plastic in microwaves, the quality of oil in cooking, the food, the lifestyle habits, poor immune system, etc.

A better advice will be to do proper analysis to know who is eligible, the type of good they want and who and what is not eligible.
