However, on my JAMB registration, my middle name is abbreviated to "I," so it appears as George I Okosun. Will this cause an issue when registering for NYSC? What would you advise I do about this? Hi, I want to know if the details on the jamb Matriculation portal is what is used in filling my details on my certificate/NYSC, I recently noticed a misspelling on my name on the jamb matriculation portal and have gone through the jamb regularisation process but our Vc is not around to sign the form, this has caused me to halt my clearance fearing that the name on the jamb MATRIC portal will reflect on my certificates.

I want to know if I can go ahead with my clearance and NYSC or continue waiting, Thank you.

When you are registering for NYSC at the cyber cafe and at camp, use your full name as it appears on your NIN and other relevant documents.

Please I have a friend, she just graduated with PT program so she was told to do Regularization of which she has done that but now that she discovered error on his date of birth after the datas for Regularization has been submitted online, the date on his Regularization printout is not the same with what she have on is NIMC. She went to Jamb office direct to make correction and she was told that date of birth can not be corrected for her due to the letter “P” at the back of is reg No which means Part-Time. Unless she go to Abuja to do that.

Please I’m having issues changing my course on jamb portal as it is not the course I studied in school so I was told I have to change it if I want to go for NYSC. When I went to jamb office, the person there couldn’t enter my portal, as he typed my reg number, a message popped up; “visit jamb….” I really can’t remember what he rest of the message. I’m summary he couldn’t access my portal. Please what do I do or what do you think the issue could be?

Please I gain admission in 2012 but not through jamb and am yet to regularized due to the NIN stuff, please hope the end of regularization did not affect The 2012 to the 2016 sets of students.

According to the circular, it says end of regularization for the above sets 2017,2018,2019,2020. Please can any one help

Thank you so much. I guess I'll have to go and remove my middle name from my nin as my jamb doesn't have a middle name.
I know this is out of jamb but please I'd like a response if possible. How do I go about my international passport because my international passport has my middle name as nin does but if I remove my middle name from my nin to make it tally with my jamb for nysc,what do I do regarding my passport. For instance,If I'm going to renew it,will they still recognize me as the same person given my nin which used to have my middle name and was used for my passport won't be having a middle name again

Sorry,could you elaborate further on what you mean by NYSC is 50/50 on accurate first and last name but ommision of middle name
Also,for clarity purposes,you suggest I should register for NYSC with my middle name in it. Isn't this going to be a problem as my school said they won't include my middle name in my certificate due to it not being on my JAMB detail and NIN having my middle name. Thanks.

Please,I have two questions

1) I am currently in my final year in uni. I made a mistake in registering my name in jamb in the year 2018. I registered my name as Agu-King Chisom. I later found out when registering into uni that my birth certificate name is Aguking Chisom. If I apply for jamb name correction,will I be affected during NYSC as my Nin has a middle name,that is on my Nin it's Aguking Chisom Vanessa

2) I applied for name correction as earlier stated in jamb since 2022. Now I'm about to graduate and they haven't fixed it. My school asked me to write a letter to stop vetting of my name on transcript and certificate because I want my first and last name to at least tally in my docs. I found out after reaching out to jamb support that my school didn't submit the indemnity form they gave me. Do I need to go back to jamb office and reapply again or should I just print out the indemnity form and resubmit to my school?
Also,how long does jamb name correction take?

Hello , I gained admission through Full time 2021 not on jamb portal but school portal and I was given another course instead of the course that was on my jamb caps. So I tried to do the regularization this year in order to obtain Direct Entry Form, but I was told at the jamb office that they can’t do it for me that I should go to school for them to upload my details. So I went back to my school to tell them and they uploaded my details.Since then, I haven’t heard anything from jamb. And anytime I tried checking the status , it keeps saying that my details has been uploaded on jamb caps that it is being processed by the jamb desk officer that I should check back later.
Have gone to school to complain they said it is not in there hands that they have uploaded my details.
Pls can you tell me what to do in order to get my jamb regularization done coz I don't really understand?
